This is a gorgeous resort with friendly service, gorgeous accommodations and a location that can’t be beat. The pool was a perfect temperature, the staff went out of their way to make it special and I can’t wait to come back again!

Absolutely loved this property. Staff is friendly and the grounds are very very clean. It's nestled into the perfect location. No complaints whatsoever. From valet service, to concierge, to even wait staff and bartenders - everyone was friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious considering most small boutique hotels in Sedona. So much to do in the area. This trip was ultimate perfection for me.

I had a great stay at Amara. The rooms were spacious and the bed was SO comfy. Great food at the restaurant. Excellent service at the pool, and loved the set up at the pool. Overall a beautiful property right on the creek, can’t beat that! Def recommend!

We stayed at Amara for our honeymoon. I definitely would have stayed elsewhere. It’s a nice place, great views, nice pool, great food, but I just don’t think it’s worth the price that I paid. First off, we mentioned to the person at the front desk that it was our honeymoon, and she didn’t even give us a simple congratulations. Other restaurants in the area at least gave us a glass of cava or champagne at dinner, nothing from Amara. It wasn’t just the lack of congratulations, the host that checked is in just seemed like she could care less that we were starting our trip at their resort. It wasn’t very welcoming. Staff were pretty good, but we just were not in the mood to spend a thousand dollars on tips while we were there. So, we wanted to self park our car and not use valet. The valet guys told us that if we self parked, then we had to opt out of using valet for the rest of our stay. It was like they were trying to scare us into using valet and submit to the tipping system every single time we wanted to move our car. Again, just didn’t feel welcoming. I will say, the bartenders and servers in the restaurant were phenomenal. Great service. Nice place, I just don’t think it’s worth the price.

Wow from check-in to check-out everything was PERFECT. Me and my friends came for a birthday in our group. Correll at check-in gave us the most welcoming and friendly start to this vacation. Restaurant was on point! Food was amazing. Housekeeping couldn't have been better and even valet was exceptional! Definitely coming back with my family and kids next time!

Coming here was a big mission for me and a group of friends. We had the best time ever! From checking in with Correll who gave us the best entry ever! To the wonderful restaurant staff. Housekeeping was exceptional! From start to finish me and my friends (who had a birthday) couldn’t stop talking about this place. Valet was friendly and amazing and can’t thank everyone there enough! Definitely coming back

I can't say enough wonderful things about our stay at Amara Resort and Spa. We stayed for 4 days in June, 2022. Everyone was friendly, kind and welcoming. The rooms were clean, modern and spacious. The restaurant was excellent. Teah, the conceirge, was so helpful in planning our dinner reservations and activities during our stay.

It was our honeymoon, and they put us in a room next to the maintenance room, which I can only imagine was a generator running that made the experience like sleeping on a bus. When they changed our rooms, they upcharged us for it. The front desk staff was great, but there were a few incidents including garbage juice being dripped on our floor when housekeeping came to clean, our orders at the restaurant being screwed up, and even when we were out at the pool for breakfast, we had to hear the maintenance crew vacuuming and repairing an issue with the infinity pool. Not only that, but if you manage to have a creek facing suite, be prepared. There is a skunk living right underneath your balcony.

Terrific service all around, in particular Kelsie in pool area was fantastic…friendly, energetic, helpful, and does way more than job requires. If I owned the place I’d put her in charge. Rooms were nice too, and grounds are beautiful. Only issue we had was waiting until 6:30a to get vehicle from valet, so if you’re headed for super early hike, to beat crowd, let desk know and they’ll put your car up front overnight instead of garage.
