We enjoyed staying here. Loved the balcony area where you can enjoy views of the mountains. Each room has a two seater sofa for relaxing outside. Rooms were clean and well equipped - nice towels. The lady on the desk was very friendly and helpful on our check in BUT she wasn't wearing a mask. The manager said she would take care of the matter. Felt they were lapse on their Covid precautions but other than that I would stay there again!

The location is perfect, close from town and hikes. We received great service from Patti. Room was clean and spacious but the mattress was simply horrible. We are well travelled and it has to be the worst mattress I ever had in a hotel room. We actually lost sleep.

Stayed here in June 2020 for a Mother/Daughter trip and was pleasantly surprised. The renovation of the lobby is gorgeous. Our room was moderately updated with fresh paint, newer carpeting, updated furniture and comfortable mattress with nice decor. The bathroom and vanity area had not been updated but it was sparkling clean like a new tub and shower surround would be. There is a patio available for the motel guests equipped with outdoor seating and views of the red rocks. Parking is free. If you are wanting to be downtown, this is a great option. This motel is within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. I will return.

We stayed here for one night on our "social distancing" road trip out west from Ohio. We had researched accommodations in Sedona and found this to be exactly what we wanted to find. Imagine our surprise when we found out that the pictures we had been looking at were outdated -- many of them did not even include the many upgrades this motel has apparently made recently. As if we weren't impressed enough with the pictures, what we found in person was even better. The gentleman in the front office was kind, friendly, and quick to offer any assistance we may need. Had it not been for having an exterior entrance, I would have sworn we were actually in a nice HOTEL rather than a motel. I've never been in a motel with crown molding before -- a great touch -- or with a tray of information and free bottled water positioned on one of the beds. As for cleanliness, this place could not be beat. It would truly survive a white glove inspection, for sure. At the end of the motel is a covered porch/balcony complete with a table and barstools, a sofa and chairs, and the view from here is incredible. We sat out there for hours, having a few drinks and taking in the beautiful mountain sights. It was a bit of a wind tunnel so we were eventually driven indoors when we started to get cold, in spite of the fact that the temperature was in the 80s. (And I'm a warm natured person.) The motel is a short walk or drive to the multitude of downtown shops and restaurants. Many restaurants in Sedona were starting to open for dine-in, but we opted for delivery anyway. We did walk around downtown for a while, and although not a lot of people were wearing masks everyone seemed to be doing their best to practice social distancing. I wish I could give this place a rating of 6 or higher. We hated leaving the next morning, and wished we had planned at least one more night in Sedona. No worries... we'll be back, but only if we can stay here again.

Positives: Beautiful location with the red rocks as a backdrop. Close to everything. There's a coffee and bakery shop across the street for a quick coffee and breakfast. The rooms themselves are large and we appreciated having the sink outside of the room containing the toilet/tub, making it easier for two people to get ready in the morning. There was plenty of hot water and towels. Because we were late to check in, I contacted the Inn and they were accommodating and left a room key for us in their drop box. Negatives: The bed was not comfortable. The first night the bed was so uncomfortable we asked to be moved to another room. We appreciated very much that the hotel accommodated that request. While the second room did have a better mattress, it was still not great. The person we spoke to said the mattresses had all been changed out in the past year, but it seems to me they should consider purchasing entirely new beds, not just mattresses. The parking was a bit challenging just because the hotel is on top of a hill and the lot is narrow. It is nicely paved, and I only mention this if you are driving a large vehicle. You would want to stay in a room closer to the front office. Happy travels!
