We were pleased with this resort--the rooms were spacious and well stocked, the grounds were clean and the location for perfect for our needs. We were away from the busy area of Sedona but not far away. Excellent trails within walking distance. We were surprised how large the one bedroom condo was--super excited about the in unit washer and dryer and nice patio with a view of the pool. Walk thru video review completed--It's on the List
We really enjoyed our stay at the Sedona Summit. It is only fair to say we had a little blip at the start but thanks to Katie (Mooney) who went above and beyond, we couldn't have been happier with our overall stay and we would recommend it to others, as well as be back ourselves. The staff was very responsive to our requests (more towels and pillows etc.) and followed up with a phone call to make sure we received what we requested (nice touch). The 2 bedroom in the Sunset building was beautiful and spacious for our family of 6 with comfy beds in the masters (Bonus - tubs are huge in both masters!). The kitchen is very well equipped and wonderful to prepare meals when we didn't feel like going out. The rooms in this area are newer and more modern and ours was very clean (especially important during covid). The deck is spacious and while we didn't have a view of the gorgeous mountains, we were very happy with the tranquility of the surrounding trees and shrubbery. The huge pool and spa made social distancing during covid easy and was awesome for both the adults and the kiddos (splash pads for added kid fun!). The oversized spa is shaped in a way that you don't feel like you are on top of one another or overheard by all. It does has some surface repairs that need to be made, but overall is amazing after a long day of hiking! There is also a great playground that our kids loved and hammocks that we (Mimi and Mom) snuck out to for a quiet night of relaxation and stargazing. The resort is away from the busy area of downtown Sedona (10 minutes) but we found it convenient access for some of the most amazing hikes (Airport Mesa, Devils Bridge, Boynton Canyon etc.) and was closer to Cottonwood than if we were staying in the downtown area. A day trip to Cottonwood is worth it if you like wine tasting and great restaurants! Overall we were all very pleased with our stay and will be back!…
Are family stayed in the 2 Bedroom Unit and its was VERY SPACIOUS. They kids enjoyed being out and about and they can’t wait to the activities and the resort. Love the kitchen, had everything we needed to make our breakfast and dinners. We bought our points last year in Maui from kawika souza. So far, So good kid.
Just check into resort last night and was greeted by a pushy salesman that did not understand what the word "NO", meant and having to walking out with him still trying to get me to go to a presentation,! WOW First time here where relatives raved about it and the views. We were greeted by loud, continuous road noise. Room is about 40 feet from highway 89A which is the busiest highway in this area. Also, spent sometime attaching some of the kitchen cabinet doors that where falling off.
I arrived at 1pm ..they said my room was being inspected and would be ready shortly. 2.5 hr later the room still wasn't ready...so they put me in a different room. It was on the ground floor and I asked for upstairs plus it smelled really bad. No big deal they moved me to another room and I paid upgrade for a better room. Very disappointed in the new upgraded room. Door knobs and switches are disgusting and smells terrible of food, worse than the last room. Only improvements is the view...sleeping on the balcony! Cant wait to go home to my clean house! I've stayed here many times and expected cleaner rooms with covid extreme cleaning measures!
