This hotel, which is on the edge of the built-up area, offers very nice rooms at a price which is good value (compared with other Sedona hotels!). The included breakfast offered several hot items; on two of our three mornings, one of the hot dishes was vegetarian.

The hotel is quite close to Dry Creek Trailhead parking and Mescal Trailhead parking (and also the P+R car park to reach these trailheads by shuttle), so it’s particularly convenient for guests wishing to visit those areas.

The hotel is also close to Verde shuttle stops and a fifteen minute walk from the very good Golden Goose restaurant (which has a particularly good choice of fish).

We would definitely return here on another visit to Sedona. The location made it easy to get to nearby trailheads and was walking distance to our atv rental. We had a large double Queen with a fireplace. Some rooms had a balcony and we might aim for that next time. The holiday activities, live music, pool and hot tub, and quiet patio all added to our enjoyment. The staff was working hard over this holiday weekend, keeping a variety of breakfast items stocked and clean, the facilities and rooms clean, and were available for questions. I’m grateful to them for their positive energy and working to help others enjoy their stay. Highly recommend!

Our stay was amazing! Very clean, the rooms are a good size and the breakfast each day had lots of choice! Very friendly staff!! We had one incident while there… a few people broke into the pool area in the middle of the night (not staying at the hotel) and our room was overlooking that area so we were woken up. We discussed with the front desk staff the next morning and they refunded a full weeks Resort Fee. We were very happy with the resolution. Every other night was very quiet and peaceful!! We loved the breakfast choices and filled up for our big hikes each day! They had a filtered water station to fill our water bottles each day so we were not polluting the environment which is important to us. Overall we loved this place and would 100% stay again. Sedona is in the hearts of these two Canadians!

They charged a resort fee however the pool was closed and the advertised free breakfast was not available. They are remodeling and under construction was the reason they said they did not have a free breakfast. The visitor center in town still has brochures on the wall for this Motel which advertises a free breakfast. When asked if they could waive a resort fee, they said “well the parking is free”. My response to that is “this review is free.”

This is a MOTEL. Yet, they charge MORE than the Courtyard Marriott down the street, where I escaped to after one night at Sedona Real. I stayed here because the Enchantment (where my conference was being held) was full, and they recommended this place. Two dead roaches in my room. There have been no updates made to this place. Old floors that look dirty, old carpeting, old sagging furniture you won't want to sit on without putting a towel down. The "suite" as they called it didn't have a sink in the bathroom. Just a toilet and shower (which was ADA accessible with a floor drain I was afraid a sewer roach would come up into the room the one night I was there). The sink and vanity are right across from the bed. So when I got up early to get ready for a conference I was attending, the lights were right in my husband's eyes as he was still trying to sleep. There was NO light at all for the desk in case I wanted to read or work there. No elevators, so if you're room is on the 2nd floor, you'll be carrying your bags up the stairs. I couldn't imagine coming back to this place after the first night, so we left and went to the Courtyard Marriott the second night and it was $60/night LESS expensive, clean, smelled nice, updated and overall much more comfortable.

I look through the reviews on this site and can't believe they are talking about the same place. I stayed in late November, and there was quite a bit of construction, which may account for the major differences. However, there was certainly no breakfast of any kind, free or otherwise. The reception/registration area was in a re-jiggered room on the first floor. My room was adequately heated, had running water and a door that locked. All that is good. But when I walked in, I was overpowered by a smell of Windex (or other similar cleaner) that was extremely unpleasant. The lights felt like being in a warehouse, and the tiled floor made everything echo. The bedsprings were super-creaky and the bed frame must have been metallic because the creaking of the springs every time I rolled over got amplified by the frame. There was a microwave perched on top of a small refrigerator and cable box for the TV that stuck out onto the TV stand, all of which looked kind of "thrown together". The only closet was, oddly, located within the bathroom. There was a small desk, which was good, but the only furniture in the room besides the bed and office chair was an armchair that was extremely firm and not very conducive to relaxing. I was extremely disappointed when I first walked in, especially having just come from a much nicer hotel. However, I decided to take it as an inspiration to spend as little time in the room as possible, and to get more time out exploring the town. I will add that the person manning the reception desk was very nice.

Dear Seedrow, We regret to hear that your stay did not live up to expectations, and we thank you for bringing this to our attention. You are correct, we are currently renovating our entire hotel in phases. Right now, we are fully renovating our Lobby, Pool and guest rooms in the lobby building and the adjacent buildings. With that we have temporarily relocated the front desk to a suite. It sounds as though you booked one of our rooms that has yet to be renovated. We are connecting with our team about your stay so that we can improve for all our guests. We hope to have the opportunity to host you in the future for a much-improved visit. Thank you.

The location of this stay was outside the hustle and bustle of downtown at the west end of Sedona . The suite rooms were spacious and could easily accommodate 6 people. There is not daily room service unless requested which was no problem at as as plenty of towels were left in the bathroom. The breakfast was more than adequate as they have a Chef that prepares the breakfast meal on site. I will stay here again if I ever get a chance to return to Sedona!

The Sedona Real Inn and Suites is a very quiet location easily accessible right off the main highway but far enough away from all of the main strip hustle and bustle. The staff are very kind and friendly. Their included breakfast was very good with variations daily. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Will be coming back again.

Average 3 Star Hotel but beware of extra $21 daily "resort fee". Unlike other hotels in this 3 Star class, the Sedona Real Inn charges an extra fee for such basic features as access to their standard size pool, exercise room, coffee pot in your room, WiFi, etc.
This is true regardless of whether or not you actually use any of these features. If you do decide to stay here, I recommend that you request a room away from the very noisy & high traffic rood.

Dear HarvAG, Thank you for taking the time to write about our hotel. The resort fee includes offerings to guests that most other hotels charge extra for. The $19.00 a night plus tax fee includes a full hot breakfast buffet, to include a special frittata of the day, sausage, homestyle potatoes, fresh homemade salsa, and oatmeal, pastries and waffles, plus fresh cut fruit, yogurt, granola, coffee, tea, juice, and cold cereals. The lobby offers fresh whole fruit all day and a filtered water bottle filling station. The resort fee includes the local chef bespoke breakfast, WIFI, parking, and an activities program for guests which includes yoga and meditation in the mornings, local wine tastings, vortex talks and an acoustical guitarist who plays by the firepit three nights a week in our one-acre pet and people park which is an old growth Juniper forest with crushed granite walkways and grassy areas for children and pets to play on. We hope you can come stay with us again to enjoy some of these benefits while adventuring in Sedona. Please ask for the repeat guest rate for a nice discount.

We spent 3 nights at this lovely hotel in a queen suite on the second floor with small balcony facing the pool and mountains. Our room was spotless. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful and the property is well
maintained and quiet. This is a great location away from the traffic of downtown Sedona but close enough to enjoy going back and forth during the day. Breakfast was better than expected with frittata casserole, scrambled egg tortillas, potatoes, sausages, yogurt parfaits, bagels, pastries, waffle maker, etc. The only reason I did not give this a 5 star review is that the bathroom vanity area is not enclosed and lacked the privacy needed for our family of 4 to get dressed and ready in the morning. Despite this, we really enjoyed our stay and will return!

No trails from the property. We also found that parking lots at the ones nearest it often filled up by 9.30am. However, those that require a drive and are further away (e.g. Fay Canyon) usually have space for much of the day.
