The cabin was amazing and has a kitchen stocked with basics needs. Cabin was very clean for the cabin. The backyard thou was lacking. BBQ grill and furniture was not cleaned at all. I end up cleaning the BBQ myself. The rest the gardener that happen to be there took care of it. Really cool gardener as I was able to find out about the birds there and history of the cabin property. Cabin was rustic and had a balcony. Excellent viewpoint of the birds. The backyard was huge with 2 patio seating areas and a swing set. Overall it was a great value for the money given it is located near Slide Rock Park. Improvements that would increase rent price income and customer return. 1. Make sure the backyard as clean as interior. 2. Make sure the balcony structure is in good order. I say one unit where the nails separated from the support frame. Offer breakfast.…
We made a short staycation/mini honeymoon here for 3 nights. It couldn’t have been more perfect! The fireplace came in handy as the weather was cold & windy while we were there. Far enough out of town for privacy, but close enough to town that it was no big deal to drive in for dinner or to go to the store. Each cabin had a designated parking spot. It was the perfect setup! Can’t say enough good things about our experience! We hope to return one day.
My daughter and I visited Canyon Wren Cabins and stayed in the Honeysuckle cabin. What a great 'Girls' Weekend!! The cabin was cozy and quaint, spacious and well equipped, and Mike and Milena were both awesome! They were very welcoming, willing to help, yet let you have your privacy while enjoying their wonderful 'outdoor sanctuary'. They were also very attentive to cleaning and health during these 'unique travel times'. Great hiking and nature all within walking distance. I'd highly recommend this great place! So much so, my husband and I went there too and stayed in one of the larger chalet cabins. It was a very romantic and peaceful weekend away. Thank you Mike and Milena!! We will DEFINITELY return!!
This is a remarkable romantic get-away located just north of Sedona. Close to everything but away from everywhere. The chalet cabins are cozy, clean, and quaint. Milena and Mike the hosts are absolutely great and helpful with local information and suggestions. Highly recommend you stay for a visit.
What a cute spot, quiet, with nice views of the red rocks. Great table in the back for sitting outside and a quaint balcony from outside the upstairs bedroom. The host and hostess were simply amazing. Thanks for a beautiful stay, the room was immaculate. Maybe one day, breakfast will be offered again!!
My cousins and I made reservations at Canyon Wren so that we could have two days of meditation and bonding. Mike and Milena were spectacular hosts. We've not encountered better. They were very accommodating and concerned about our comfort & peace. Milena gave us suggestions of places to see and hike. The cabins were immaculate. They do a great job with the cabins so you have all you need. It is comfy and cozy. There are journals to write in and read. There were nothing but wonderful reads in the journals. The red rocks off our patio were magnificent. Watching the birds outside on the patio was glorious. It was just the best!!!!
Me and my wife's first time here. We stayed in the Wild Rose cabin. It's a cute 2 story cabin, master bedroom on 2nd floor. It was close to all the great hikes and close to the village shopping center. Beautiful scenery and very nice hosts. I would recommend a stay here for sure! Thanks guys!
Husband and I had a great time at The Canyon Wren. We stayed at Honeysuckle, and it was perfectly clean and cozy. We cooked there several times and also got lots of rest from our hikes - the surrounding offers some great trails. Milena was super helpful and nice, and if you're into dogs you might get to meet Princess Leia!
Seventh time's a charm - not really. Every time is a charm! As the title implies, this was our seventh visit to The Canyon Wren Cabins for Two. We were out for our daily walk in early February, when my wife and I, almost simultaneously, said "lets go to Sedona for our anniversary". A quick phone call and conversation with Milena, and we were booked. If you read my previous reviews about this awesome property, you'll see why we love it. Great location away from the busyness (and sometimes craziness) that often defines downtown Sedona, close to hikes in Oak Creek Canyon, but only 10 to 15 minutes from town when you want to go out for a dinner. We hiked a favorite (West Fork), a couple of new ones (A.B. Young, and the Mescal, Deadman's Pass, Long Canyon Loop). Also left early for the Grand Canyon for a day hike on the rim trail. The Grand Canyon was the least crowded we've ever seen it due to COVID, and the shuttle had strict seating limits to ensure safe travel. Sedona businesses are doing a good job promoting masking, social distancing, etc. (to the best of their ability), and we didn't see anyone blatantly disregarding the safety recommendations. Back to Canyon Wren. Mike and Milena, we love you guys. We love seeing you and Leia (she is an incredibly friendly and well-behaved pup), and we will definitely be seeing you again.…
Beautiful cabin , great place to rekindle and recharge . Has all the amenities you will need. Milena and Mike are amazing hosts. Great location short drive to Sedona and cross the street to Oak Creek. We will definitely be back
