Family stay for 3 nights in March. The layout of the lodge was so pretty and serene. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had a view of the airport, as well as a pretty view from the deck on the other side of the room. The staff could not have been any better. Everyone is so helpful and cheery! The patio with the fire pit and drinks is a great touch. The “feel” of the lodge was so relaxed and laid back. Atticus the resident office cat was a bright spot in the mornings when getting a cup of coffee from the office/shop area! The location can’t be any better. It is away from town but easily reached and peaceful. I saw other accomodations I had considered for our stay and was so so happy I decided on Sky Ranch! Awesome spot for star gazing and sunrises. I would have given a rating of 5 but it was chilly (March 1-4) and the fireplace in the room (which I knew early March we would probably make use of a fireplace) could not be used because there had not been a propane delivery! That was the only disappointment and that paled in light of the wonderful stay at a wonderful location with wonderful staff 🌌🌅

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. Atticus is our ambassador when it comes to welcoming our guests. He runs to the computer keyboard and pretends to check our guests in. Definitely a leader in hospitality! We look forward to seeing you soon! With best regards, Victoria N. General Manager

We came here originally looking for a wedding venue for our daughter. It was extremely expensive so we found another place. We decided to come here for my birthday- big mistake!!!! I had no idea had rude they are here or how bad the customer service is. We arrived at 3:30, not 11 in the morning. We were told if we wanted to check in before 4 there is a $25 fee for this, even though the room was ready. The man in front of us checked in because he booked through Expedia, so lesson learned, don’t book through their website if you want to check in early. Apparently they penalize you for that. You’re better off using Expedia. So, we are originally from Ca and have been to many tourist areas including Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, and Carmel. Never have we been told there is an extra charge if you are 30 minutes early and the room is ready. Super rude and condescending front office staff do not make a good first impression! My birthday has taken a serious downturn because of the super rude way we were treated. I wasn’t expecting anything special for my birthday. All I expected was not to be treated disrespectfully. We asked to speak to a manager and were told that no one was around. How convenient. I plan on telling all my Porsche club friends, Jeep friends, and Facebook friends not to come here because of the extremely poor customer service. It’s a shame since it’s a decent sized room with a fabulous view. Won’t be back. Shame on you for your poor customer service.

This was our first stop on a 9 day Southwest odyssey with friends and what a wonderful place to begin out tour. Other than beautiful views, it's all by itself at the top of a hill and away from all the hustle and bustle save for the great restaurant that's nearby (walking distance). Being from the Boston area it was a true pleasure to have our waiter from our home state. Our room was clean the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The grounds were very relaxing, clean and had a brook running threw with a small pond just outside our door with a table & chairs. Free coffee at the front desk area just begged to be enjoyed by the brook in the morning. We are walkers and were happy to find a walking route quite close to our room and running next to the small airport nearby. It caters to General Aviation so it's very quiet there. We saw many wild rabbits during our walks on both days and the peace and quiet was a pleasure to enjoy.
