We stayed in room 115, which is the smallest room I have ever stayed in. The bed was uncomfortable, the hotel is loud, and we actually left early with 2 more paid nights left on our stay because we were so disappointed. Parking is tight, so beware if you have a full size or valuable vehicle. I should have known we were in trouble when we arrived for an early check in that was approved and verified by the manager and received an abrupt and unenthusiastic welcome from the desk clerk who was coming on duty. We were 45 minutes early!

We stayed at Lantern Light for four nights and really enjoyed our stay. We were given a bottle of wine upon check in. Water bottles were provided daily and the coffee was good. Staff were very friendly. The bed and shower were fabulous! The room was quiet too, despite being located on the main road. Yes, the room could have used a little TLC, as it is starting to show its age. However, this didn’t diminish our stay in any way and we’d gladly return. Highly recommended.

We were pleasantly surprised by this little gem. Sometimes with the words "inn" in the title it may not be so great. This place was fabulous! We stayed in the Mountain Room and absolutely loved it! The room was beautiful, had hanging basket chairs just outside our doors and the parking was very convenient. The bed was comfortable, zero noise and felt very cozy. The staff were friendly and we were able to pick up bottles of water every morning at the office as we headed out for the day. Would recommend this place and stay there again.

So disappointing! At the time of booking, we were told we’d be in the only room at the Inn with a Mountain View, but the room actually looked out on the parking lot (Thunder Mountain was barely visible past the parking lot, across the street, and a distance away). We were also told that we’d be welcomed with a bottle of wine because we were staying multiple nights, but there was no wine and no one at the office to ask about it. This was the most expensive stay we had on a two week trip through Arizona, and it was our least favorite. Other places were more charming, had great views, and included breakfast. Even so, I wouldn’t have bothered leaving a negative review if we hadn’t felt misled. Can’t recommend.

So disappointing to have noisy neighbors outside my door at the fire pits and then again next door as the walls are paper thin. I cannot recommend this place as it is far from quaint and no better than a motel.

This inn was small and clean; booked for our first vacation since 2019. I had an uncomfortable interaction with the front desk clerk. We had declined service to the room, as we did not need any tidying, and but I tried to exchange the coffee mugs and pods. The clerk argued with me about how the mugs would have been exchanged had we requested service. She also blamed the other front desk clerk for a lack of extra clean mugs and begrudgingly washed ours. I also reported a leak in our room (it happens, it was a lot of rain); and I was again scolded and told I should have called the number for maintenance. I had tried to resolve both of these matters earlier but the front desk had been locked. I left feeling like I had been an employee getting reprimanded instead of being a guest. The man who checked us in was lovely and gave us good hiking tips. The stay was fine for what it was but we will book elsewhere next time we come back to Sedona.

We were in Sedona for the day. We did some hiking and walking through the downtown shops. It was a beautiful, crisp, sunny winter day and we decided to stay overnight for sunset and not drive back to Prescott in the dark. The Lantern Light Inn was perfect! It’s a 10 room boutique hotel, I think all single story so no lugging a suitcase up and down stairs. It was very quiet even though it’s located on Hwy 89 in West Sedona. Parking spaces for each room so no hunting for parking. We had the King Luxury room with a large comfortable sofa and love seat and electric fireplace that added so much charm to our room. There was also a table/chairs and buffet area with mini fridge and free bottled water. The bathroom was a nice size with a large walk-in shower. The bed was very comfortable, we had a great night sleep! The room was clean, with newer furnishings and updated bathroom. Although it was too chilly in the evening to enjoy the outdoor patio areas in the back they looked really charming with the fire pits and hanging chairs. We will definitely keep this hotel in mind for our next trip to Sedona.

We stayed in room 115 which is billed as 'cozy'. It is tiny, which is OK. But it has zero drawers, a total of 5 hangers, and nowhere to put your clothes. The bathroom is plenty large, but they give you 2 towels and no place to hang them to dry between uses. The outdoor space is nice, but when it is cold like like was during our stay, you end up paying $400 a night in a room strewn with luggage. So sad that they could fix this easily with some slightly better design

Loved our quaint little room right off a great garden area, equipped with seating areas and gas fireplaces. After a day of hiking and a sunset hike we grabbed a pizza (Pisa Lisa, Yum!), a bottle of wine and had a great dinner by the fireplace in the garden…. Comfy, cozy, perfect!

What a great little place tucked away & not your crowded public space. My room had a beautiful large patio garden with swing chairs, market lights & private firepit & beautiful view of the mountains. Comfortable king bed, small little kitchen space fridge micro & full size kurig. I picked up some cream & sugar from the market just a block up the road. I recommend & will be revisiting again
