This hidden gem won't be hidden for very much longer. The staff immediately makes you feel welcomed. The manager walked me to my room pointing out along the way all of the current and forthcoming additions to the the site. It's already just wonderful. The room couldn't have been any cleaner, white crisp linens, full size Keurig coffee maker with a great assortment of warm brews. Larger than average refrigerator with separate freezer. Beautifully decorated. Fantastic sliding barn door for the the bathroom. What's also impressive is the expense made to have upgraded fixtures throughout the entire room. They literally spared no expense. Larger than most hotels/motels flat-screen T.V., I like my sports. On my trip for business they last minute for a room in Sedona in the fall. Leaves you grasping at straw's. Their rate was a delightful surprise for a last minute trip. I truthfully can't wait to get back there. Hat's off to the owners one who which had a custom Triumph motorcycle out front of the office. I ride and it was a treat.

Frank and Daisy (Managers) have put a ton of love and effort into the Lantern Light Inn, and you can feel it the moment you pull in. The grounds are clean and very well maintained. Lots of places to sit down and enjoy beautiful weather. We weren't able to hear traffic from the main road once we left the parking area.
Upon arrival, you're given a brief but thorough explanation on how to reach the managers should you need anything after hours and how breakfast works (you fill out a little card and they bring it to your door in a basket in the morning at the time you select! It's so wonderful!). Other than that, you are left to your own devices to enjoy your stay. Our room was immaculate. The bed was so comfortable! The shower was huge! The string lights throughout the grounds give a warm, almost fairy-tale feeling.
If you want to treat a special someone to a quiet, calm, and romantic weekend (without breaking the bank or sacrificing quality) the Lantern Light Inn is the place to go.
It's also super close to tons of good places to eat (We went to Gerardo's, it was awesome!), places to hike, souvenir shops, and a few grocery stores.
When checking out, we had a wonderful conversation with Frank and it's clear he has a passion and love for what he does.

Absolutely wonderful! Carl and Josh at the front desk were great and very attentive, Carl helped us with everything from more soap to setting up the fireplace outside (yes there is an exceptionally cute outside area with fireplaces) and we were even given a bottle of wine at check in. The inn is very well located, the room was spacious, the bed one of the most comfortable and the shower awesome, as well. Covid protocols were in place, including disinfectant in every room, our only regret was not staying longer. Will be back soon!

This beautifully kept boutique hotel offers the amenities of a top of the line chain with the caring feel of a B&B. Frank and Daisy are the managers, and everything about this property is done perfectly. Rooms are immaculate and spacious and they are immensely knowledgeable about the area and were able to direct us to some hidden gems. The breakfast basket hanging out your door in the morning is the perfect touch to kick off your day in beautiful Sedona.

When I originally booked this hotel in June, the website advertised as a B&B with a basket of items brought to your door each morning. Fast Forward to our arrival on 7/20 and they aren't doing breakfasts any longer as transitioned to a "boutique" hotel. Had I known that, I would have looked for a different property as we wanted a B&B experience. They offered some donuts and I said, no that's fine. Then they offered an $11 bottle of red, which we didn't drink and left in the room. All that said, the room was nice, but tight and very nice outdoor space with individual chair swings that were really comfortable. And met a nice couple from San Diego there. I would probably look for a different place to stay next time, one that was what I was originally looking for, or one with a pool/spa.

We were in Sedona for the day. We did some hiking and walking through the downtown shops. It was a beautiful, crisp, sunny winter day and we decided to stay overnight for sunset and not drive back to Prescott in the dark. The Lantern Light Inn was perfect! It’s a 10 room boutique hotel, I think all single story so no lugging a suitcase up and down stairs. It was very quiet even though it’s located on Hwy 89 in West Sedona. Parking spaces for each room so no hunting for parking. We had the King Luxury room with a large comfortable sofa and love seat and electric fireplace that added so much charm to our room. There was also a table/chairs and buffet area with mini fridge and free bottled water. The bathroom was a nice size with a large walk-in shower. The bed was very comfortable, we had a great night sleep! The room was clean, with newer furnishings and updated bathroom.
Although it was too chilly in the evening to enjoy the outdoor patio areas in the back they looked really charming with the fire pits and hanging chairs.
We will definitely keep this hotel in mind for our next trip to Sedona.

Our group was having a gathering at the Sedonya Center nearby and we reserved all the rooms at the Lantern Light for four nights. The staff were wonderful and accommodating. Karl, the mgr, was pleasant to deal with and Josh went out of his way to help us (even coming to open my door when my key didn't work at 10pm). The rooms are very comfortable, even the small ones, and the suites were palatial. The swinging chairs and fire pits were also fun, and the grounds are lovely. Wonderfully convenient to many restaurants, etc, at a quieter end of town, it is a lovely place to stay while in Sedona.

This was a lovely, quiet and romantic place to stay. While it’s right on the main road, it was still quiet and secluded.
The manager upgraded us to a king room (110) which had its own private patio with 2 swinging chairs and fire pit on the patio.
The room itself was simple and small, but we didn’t need any extra room, as we enjoyed the outdoor space the majority of the time we were there.
I’m a deep clean kind of person, so there were a few things that I noticed, that I would want cleaned for the next time. Specifically, the fan in the bathroom was full of dust and cobwebs. There were also lots of con webs in the corners, in both the room and bathroom. I also noticed a bit of dust behind the nightstands and bed…like it hasn’t been pulled out and cleaned behind there in a while. But again, I’m a bit neurotic about things that most people would overlook.
Overall, I would stay there again and recommend it to others!

This inn was small and clean; booked for our first vacation since 2019. I had an uncomfortable interaction with the front desk clerk. We had declined service to the room, as we did not need any tidying, and but I tried to exchange the coffee mugs and pods. The clerk argued with me about how the mugs would have been exchanged had we requested service. She also blamed the other front desk clerk for a lack of extra clean mugs and begrudgingly washed ours. I also reported a leak in our room (it happens, it was a lot of rain); and I was again scolded and told I should have called the number for maintenance. I had tried to resolve both of these matters earlier but the front desk had been locked. I left feeling like I had been an employee getting reprimanded instead of being a guest. The man who checked us in was lovely and gave us good hiking tips. The stay was fine for what it was but we will book elsewhere next time we come back to Sedona.

So disappointing! At the time of booking, we were told we’d be in the only room at the Inn with a Mountain View, but the room actually looked out on the parking lot (Thunder Mountain was barely visible past the parking lot, across the street, and a distance away). We were also told that we’d be welcomed with a bottle of wine because we were staying multiple nights, but there was no wine and no one at the office to ask about it. This was the most expensive stay we had on a two week trip through Arizona, and it was our least favorite. Other places were more charming, had great views, and included breakfast. Even so, I wouldn’t have bothered leaving a negative review if we hadn’t felt misled. Can’t recommend.
