Amazing stay in Sedona. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Services were great. Shuttle service was beyond helpful as we didn’t need to drive or get an Uber. Lunch and breakfast on the Creek was an experience we won’t forget.

Rooms are compact but function very well with thoughtful touches and very high quality amenities. Service is mostly outstanding -- some servers from Room Service will even bring a crisp white table cloth if they know you’re planning to dine outside on your deck. Staff sometimes spoke in normal voices outside of rooms, possibly forgetting that vacationers might be sleeping in. Staff were friendly, hard-working, welcoming. Grounds were beautiful, well maintained. The mask policy was more or less reasonable, with guests being asked to wear them in indoor public spaces. Most guests complied and there didn’t seem to be any enforcement with those who did not, which meant the vibe remained relaxed. L’Auberge imposes a resort fee calculated as a percentage of room rate, which means the more your room costs, the more you get to pay. At 10%, our room rate resulted in about $137 per night in resort fees, which included tips for valet, bell, guest services, the business center, concierge and housekeeping, but did not include a $27/night parking charge. It’s hard to understand how paying more for a room means you somehow use more of the resources that the resort fee covers since most rooms are the same size. Rates vary due to location and view, but they should take the same amount of time to clean and maintain, and, on average, guests should consume the same amount of coffee, shampoo, towels, soap, bandwidth, electricity, water, etc. So the resort fee feels like nickeling and diming.

Visited L'Auberge this weekend for a peaceful time away from all that the Corona Virus has brought us and found just that. Reservations were made at the property in house. The creekside cabins were immaculate. Although restaurants are closed at this time, Sara provided great room service and we were able to eat the "carry out" meals on our deck and at different seating areas around the beautiful property. It was a excellent night!. Ryan was able to accommodate a late check out for us today as they hold renting rooms for 72 hours to provide an extra measure of safety and extra disinfecting. This provided us time to spend exploring all the property has to offer. We will be back!

Food & beverage was substandard as was check-out. The property was 100% booked only to realize only a room service menu offered after hearing several staff say they have been encouraging F&B to offer full menu only to be ignored. Apparently many customers have inquired why. Checked in and ordered Bruschetta just to have a non-toasted butter smeared bread with chopped tomato delivered. Lazy. F&B director needs to be performance reviewed.
This simply sounds like property is trying to make up lost revenue over prior several months and while paying for price of $1,000 for a cabin only to be offered essentially a cheap school lunch is obviously not how to convey the perceived value of this property.
Lastly...after getting stuck in 5 hour traffic jam on the way up due to accident we asked for consideration and be placed last on room service list so we could check out anywhere from noon to 2 pm to relax in the room a bit longer...denied.
Property has lost its luster with us.

Our family decided to try a week long getaway in nature while still working and doing on-line school. We chose L'Auberge de Sedona for it's great location with easy access to restaurants, shops, art galleries and activities such as the Jeep Tours and hiking trails. We could just walk from the hotel or the house car would drop us off and pick up within a certain radius which was really convenient.
My husband and I had stayed there many years ago and loved it then, so we were expecting a great experience and were not disappointed. They have since updated the property and it looks great. Obviously, things were a little different with Covid protocols, but we felt totally safe. The staff was amazing. Everyone from front desk, concierge, and bell desk to restaurant/bar and housekeeping were very helpful and friendly.
Masks were required in all public spaces and everyone was compliant. Dining was mostly outdoors but indoor dining was available with plenty of space and distance between tables. We had limited housekeeping which was perfect as we spent a lot of time in our cottage between classes and work. They cleared the trash, provided fresh towels when requested, and happily brought us fresh logs for the fireplace which we used almost every night as the mornings and evenings were a little chilly. If you want real wood fireplaces you have to request those cottages as the newer ones on the hillside have gas fireplaces. We also had one of only 2 cottages with 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and a living room which was really comfortable considering we all needed some private space for our zoom calls throughout the week. The wifi worked great and none of us had any issues with connectivity. We could work on our porch, in the living room, our bedrooms or even around the property near the creek and an area they call Duck Beach which has comfortable loungers and a few hammocks as well.
They do have a pool, spa, gym (waiting on their Pelaton to arrive), and activities such as stargazing and making your own aromatherapy products in the spa, however, we did not have the time to experience everything with our limited schedule. We did enjoy the outdoors and hiking. By the way, they also allow pets so we saw several guests with their puppies and dogs.
There was also a wedding on property while we were there and it was a beautiful setup.
We had a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend it for families, couples, friends, and anyone looking for a luxury experience in Sedona!!!

My daughter, her husband and children were traveling in the Southwest this past week and arrived at the hotel in Sedona that American Express had reserved for them. Upon arrival at that hotel, they were assigned to a room which was in bad condition and unacceptable. My daughter called American Express and they were able to book a room at a different hotel - L'Auberge de Sedona. They arrived at L'Auberge de Sedona at about 8 o'clock in the evening with everyone frustrated, hungry and tired. Ryan at the front desk immediately cajoled the kids and everyone's mood was lifted. The staff immediately whisked all the luggage away so the family could relax. They were assigned a cottage with a giant room with a fire place, indoor and outdoor showers (which the kids loved). The family went right to the restaurant and had a delicious dinner. When they returned home they could not say enough about how Ryan and L'Auberge de Sedona saved the day! My husband and I will definitely stay there when we travel to Sedona.

I had a wonderful opportunity to tour the property, some of the rooms and cabins, and even to taste samples from the dining room. Right on the creek (Oak Creek), you could not find a more idyllic surrounding to spend special time with friends or loved ones. Everything is top notch. The grounds are kept as meticulously as the attention to detail in the common areas and rooms/suites. The beds look positively sumptuous. There are outdoor showers available as well as wood burning fireplaces to take the chill off cool nights.
Every member of the staff we encountered were unerringly welcoming and friendly without being obtrusive. An understated standard of excellence is how I would describe it.
The creek passing by affords peaceful areas to relax with a book or simply with your thoughts as you gaze up to the towering magnificent red rock formations of Sedona.
It is located in uptown area of Sedona, which means you can walk to many great shops, restaurants and galleries from the property, making it the height of convenience.
There is only valet parking. The valets will not accept tips, so don't let this deter you from stopping by for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or one of their classes.
It's definitely luxurious and won't fit into every budget, but I would urge you to keep this in mind for a special occasion, or just to treat yourself. You deserve it.

A+ resort all around! From the gorgeous private luxurious cabin overlooking the water, to the spectacular dining next to Oak Creek, to the beautifully landscaped paths throughout, you feel like you have entered a different world and forgotten all about the cares of regular life. The staff is marvelously kind and fun to talk to! We particularly enjoyed JP, our valet who got us our car again and again and again! And Anthony G. who helped us learn more about the landscaping. As well as Tanya who was a fantastic waitress.
Each room comes with its own outside shower with beautiful cedar planks beneath, a stone seat within, and views of the trees and the crystal blue sky above. What could be better?
Duck beach was so relaxing with chairs on the sand and the ability to wade into the chilly creek.
Walking distance to all the shops and great restaurants including our favorite, Rene’s French restaurant. A must room service experience is the “breakfast banana split,” complete with bananas, strawberries, blueberries, muesli, almond butter, and dates. Absolutely delicious!
We will return!

My fiancé and I went to L'Auberge de Sedona to celebrate our recent engagement. We were road-tripping through some national parks and this was our last stop. Upon arrival, we were greeted cheerfully by Andrew at the front desk and we were given a tour of this quiet and beautiful property. Something of note in terms of Covid precautions was that every staff member I saw had their mask on correctly, and there were many hand sanitizer stations. This made me feel very comfortable.
After the tour, we found that our bags were already in our room along with a complementary bottle of champagne; accompanied by chocolate-covered strawberries and a very sweet note from Krystle the concierge offering congratulations on our engagement. The room itself was simple but still luxurious with all the amenities one could want.
After a quick shower, we ordered the french onion soup and a steak from room service. The soup was divine however the steak, while delicious, wasn't as hot as I would have liked for it to be. But given that it was 30 degrees outside I'm just glad that it was warm.
After dinner, we took a dip in the boiling hot Hottub and enjoyed some wine under the Sedona stars. It was beautiful, relaxing, and exactly what we needed after a few days of hiking. The one downside was that the timer for the jets would only last for 15 minutes, and the timer itself was on a wall directly behind the hot tub. So, every so often I had to get out and reset the timer.
The next day, we woke up from our incredibly comfortable king-sized bed and headed down for breakfast by the creek. The service and food were great (We ordered the panini), and in combination with the serene beauty of the creek, it was an incredibly joyful experience.
We checked out with Lexie who was very kind and helped us organize our departure.
All in all, it was an excellent experience.
Just for those of you wondering. We stayed on Valentine's day which was during President's weekend. We used miles for pretty much everything but had we paid cash for the whole experience it would have cost a little over a thousand dollars for the night including what we spent on room service and breakfast.
My suggestion: Everything there is great and the team is very attentive. So enjoy the location and amenities as much as you can, because you will be spending a great deal to have the opportunity.
Special thanks to Jorge at the valet.

First it is only fair to say that I travelled during the end of the quarantine restriction due to Covid 19. The hotel was still quite expensive and I was told the spa was not open but the pool was. The pool is in dire need of some love, very small area and very dated pool. The room was lovely and the beds very comfortable. There was no housekeeping service the entire time I was there and if you needed new towels or toiletries you had to call every single time. I was surprised that they just didn't drop this stuff off every morning and switch out the old stuff. I also took off my sock and a ton of sand from hiking spilled all over the entry way, when I explained it to the front desk his response was odd, never offered to send anyone to clean it up. I know everyone is trying to do their best during this odd situation but I really feel they cold have done better on many occasions.
The highlight of this hotel by far is the creekside dining area. The food was truly outstanding and the setting is incredible. The food is incredibly good but also quite pricey. I appreciated the manager's response to by request to forgo the "resort" fee as there were no amenities that I used, not even once. Another great thing about this place is they have refillable filter water stations, I always bring my own vessel for water so this was fantastic with the daily hikes I did. I am on the fence about staying here again, I think next time I might try Enchantment Resort.

Looks like they are more secluded, downstream. However, in looking at website, also looks like they are smaller....490 sf vs 600.
It depends on where your room is. Our room was about 100 yards from where they parked our car. So it could be even 200 yards or a little more.
Yes both were open! When we were there in July the restaurant was open but with a different menu, not the regular one. I would go check it out!
