We visit the Scottsdale area at least once a year. We always stay at the Scottsdale Marriott at McDowell Mountain. This property never disappoints us. The staff is always welcoming and helpful. Many of the staff throughout the property remembers us and always welcomes us back. We always book a room in the West wing which over looks the TPC...

Good hotel for a business trip. I wouldn't want to stay here for a vacation as there are much nicer resorts in the area. But the room was large and comfortable. Loved the huge tv in the bedroom, you don't find that a lot in hotels. Also liked they wet wipes by the remote controls. Nice touch. Decent bar. Easy...

Does it ever seem like the more expensive a hotel, the less services they offer? Did not eat the breakfast that the hotel offered for $25/person. The hotel is not within walking distance of anything exciting. The height of the shower head would be fine if I sat down in the shower.

We have stayed at just about every resort in Scottsdale at some point over the years. While there are definitely nicer resorts for sure, this one is probably the best value resort we have been to. We got a great deal on the rooms and believe it or not NO RESORT FEE. These "resort" fees have become the standard for...

We were too busy to use the pool, but it looked lovely. The restaurant in the lobby has an outside covered patio, with heater lights. Absolutely lovely- we ate there at night for a late dinner and breakfast- superb!! Avocado toast with 2 3ggs and hash browns, so good we all ordered it a second morning. Easy parking in their...

Very nice property with excellent service. Stayed here 5 nights with my wife and two sons for a soccer tournament and to visit family. The room is a large suite-style room with double doors between the sitting room with fridge and sink and the bedroom with en suite bathroom. We enjoyed having a lot of space even with a rollaway...

The rooms are all suites so they are spacious. However they are in need of updating. More importantly the lobby and restaurant are so poorly designed. It was cold and rainy when we stayed at the hotel. Everytime someone came in the front door, a blast of cold air filled the lobby and restaurant. (There are no walls to block...

Dear TravelerfromOZ: Thank you for your very nice comments about our nice staff and spacious all-suite guest rooms. I genuinely apologize that your stay was not absolutely flawless; which is disappointing to me as well. Your concerns have been discussed with our Director of Hotel Operations for further follow up; as we are anticipating a renovation. Please know that we...

Extremely easy to check in and check out, Very pleasant stay. We were only there for one night; but we would stay there again. It was a sad stay as we were there on a very sad occasion for a very dear friend. It is very close to Scottsdale airport.

Great location with a very friendly staff. One of the better Marriott hotels that I have stayed at. Excellent room sizes as well that allowed my Son and I to have our own space for the week. Thank you for the home away from home.

We'd booked a double room back in early December for a bucket list trip to the local car auctions. Upon arrival they announced that they didn't have any rooms left with double beds and would provide a king instead... however, I was traveling with my son in law! 2 grown men should not be made to share a king sized...
