World Class Customer focused service!! Everything from check-in to check-out was STELLAR. This resort answered my prayers for a stress Birthday celebration/vacation. There was never a need to leave the resort. Jacque, The Concierge Extraordinaire put an extra touch of class on everything's. Robert Porter, The Drink Master worked his magic and our Georgia Peach, Amanda at the front desk... More

I love to stay st 5 star hotels every few months for a staycation. I finally went to this hotel and was pretty unimpressed. The pools were ok but not anywhere as nice as the fairmont or Hyatt. The room was old and dated and there really wasn't anything that stood out as a 5 star hotel should. The staff... More

The Phoenician is undergoing renovations, which caused minor inconveniences, but the overall hotel experience is still very lovely and relaxing. The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. The rooms are very large, and the bathrooms are huge. Dinner in the Steakhouse was excellent. The fitness center is well-equipped, and there is 24-hour access. Swimming pools were not at all crowded,... More

I have ALWAYS wanted to stay at the Phoenician, and an opportunity finally arose! I find myself a bit disappointed. First I requested late check-out. The front desk girl said 1pm was the latest I could get. No more than 5 minutes later another agent granted someone else's late check, but at 2pm! We both were gold-level so why the... More

Its nice. But rooms seem dated from heavy usage. I walked miles to my room. Pool was nice. Had massage at spa. Was good. Just needs face lift to get back to top rating Staff very nice Ill try out a few other places next trip. Not running back Food was good. View from steakhouse is best part of dinner

We checked out of the hotel and did not even stay the first night. This would have been our second time in the hotel, and we had a great experience during our first stay. However, the resort is currently undergoing extensive renovation starting with the casitas, and they are not repairing the regular hotel rooms. The carpet was dusty and... More

Well equipped resort hotel with great sports facilities, but huge and impersonal to stay in. Gym was open ealry for keen fitness folk. Evening meal was fine but nothing exceptional. Our suite was fine but the terrace looked over a concrete roof so not inviting to spend any time on.

The place is lovely. Not my favorite spa tho, the Princess is better. The Phoenician is overpriced, but you won't have any complaints. Gorgeous views on the balcony, and the high tea is famous and the best in town.

As a resident of the Valley of the Sun, I've enjoyed the restaurants at the Phoenician, including High Tea on several occasions. But, until now, I've never enjoyed staying at the Phoenician. Without exaggeration, the facility and the staff of the Phoenician exceeded my expectations--which were very high walking in the door!

I actually stayed here in the Winter before the renovations but most of the outdoor facilities were closed as you would expect due to the weather. My one major complaint was that the rooms (and indeed the whole hotel) felt like a 1990s classic but it seems like the renovations are underway now to fix this. Pros: - beautiful property... More
