The Phoenician is truly a beautiful resort and rest assured IMMACULATE! Heartfelt thanks to the staff for making our 10 day stay so memorable. ⭐️Erick Ekener, the front desk manager was attentive and very professional. He made sure that our accommodations were what we expected and they were perfect! It was evident that he took a lot of pride in his work. We appreciate all that he did to make our stay so pleasant. ⭐️Lovely Lillie, the hostess at Mowry & Cotton had outstanding people skills and we looked forward to seeing her every morning. ⭐️Breakfast served by Christine Lam was always a treat. Because of her charm and efficiency, we would always leave the restaurant smiling. She could not have been nicer or more attentive. ⭐️Jordyn, who worked by the bar, located near the front desk - was always accommodating and extremely pleasant. The concierges- ⭐️Jamie and ⭐️Shannon were well informed and gave us great information . Hooray , for all ⭐️the gentlemen who tended to our car. They were the friendliest and most efficient valet staff that my husband and I ever encountered. These were just a few of the people that made us feel extremely welcomed and comfortable at the Phoenician. There was so much to see and do on the premises! The grounds were beautifully maintained. The golf course was in pristine condition. The walking paths were lovely to stroll through. The pools were enjoyable. Off premises , but not so far away , there are many wonderful golf courses and great restaurants. We even spent a day in Sedona. The Phoenician is situated in a perfect location - In fact, the Phoenician is Perfect!

We visited the resort for a week in early November and enjoyed our stay. The grounds and pools were lovely. The resort is a five minute drive to old town Scottsdale. We ate several good meals at Mowry and Cotton. The staff is doing their best to adhere to Covid protocols. Our room was sparkling clean and everyone wore a mask. Guests must also wear a mask when working out at the fitness center. I didn't workout there because of this -- I just sweat too much in the mask to be comfortable. It was also annoying not having the convenience of room service and that the steakhouse was closed, but none of the foregoing is management's fault. Given the pandemic, we were just ecstatic to be able to enjoy a short vacation, so whatever measures need to be put into place for everyone's safety is fine with me. We will be back.

Very nice hotel with gorgeous grounds. Pool staff and valet service were excellent. Good food on site, enjoyed several small plates at Mowry and Cotton and loved the shrimp at the Thirsty Camel. Rooms are beautiful and newly remodeled. The only reason I cannot give five stars was our first night. We paid extra to book a Grand Deluxe room specifically for the nice view. The website says the room class "overlooks either our relaxing shimmering pool or one of our lush golf courses." After a long day of traveling, we arrived to a view of the air conditioner and concrete (see pictures). The front desk could not move us until the next day. I asked how we could remedy the fact that I paid for a room with a view for 4 nights but was only receiving this for 3 nights. I was told this was a room with a golf course view (??) and if I wanted a different view then I should have requested it. No apology, no efforts to make up for this. For a luxury hotel and at that price point, it was a very disappointing way to arrive and unfortunately left us with a bad feeling for the rest of our stay.

Dear lcmertz, Thank you for choosing The Phoenician and for taking the time to post your review. We are delighted to learn that you were pleased with the delicious food served at our restaurants and it will be our pleasure to share your kind remarks with our restaurant team. However, we regret we were not able to accommodate you in the room of your choice for the first night and we are sorry for any frustration and inconvenience this caused. We do want to apologize for the disappointment you experienced at the front desk regarding the room. We have shared your comments with our team to prevent this in the future. We hope you will give us a chance to show you the hospitality we are known for the next time you visit Sincerely, Denise Seomin Director of Public Relations
