To Whom It May Concern; I wanted to take the time to comment on some things. I have stayed in quite a few hotels I travel quite a bit and I  consider myself to be somewhat of a connoisseur. I am currently staying at the Days Inn and Suites at 7330 n. Pima Rd in Scottsdale Az this hotel is exceptional! So much in fact that I was reluctant to brag about it on Google Reviews for fear that everyone would know and flood the serene ambiance. It is beautiful here! Lush over growth of greenery give cooling shade to the sun’s rays. There is a variety of wildlife ,fascinating to watch. Its spring time, so quail and rabbits are educating their young.  The rooms and suites are cozy and spacious, and always clean, the staff here are all friendly accommodating and considerate. They give absolute respect to your privacy and always seem ready and eager to provide assistance. The pool is very inviting. I hear that they have a wonderful breakfast but have yet to experience it  because of covid 19 restrictions. This hotel is in a great location freeway access and it is walking distance from a major shopping plaza and there is a wide variety of entertainment for all walks of life. If I tried I can honestly say that I  can not think of one bad thing to say about this hotel. I easily give it 5 stars.
However, I have one complaint and it is a fairly large complaint, but not for the hotel but for Whyndham Rewards. I have stayed here 40 consecutive days and have yet to use any of my points. When I inquired about my points I learned I had 24,000 which at the time seemed like allot until I learned it was 15,000 for a standard room. I didn’t even have enough points to book two free nights and the room that I was able to book was a standard room when I have been staying in a suite. Not very rewarding at all considering I am a loyal customer. You should know your competition, Choice Privileges offers free rooms at about a rate of every 7th night is free and typically you will have enough points after 6 days to get a room equivalent to the one you had been staying in. Hotels.com offers 10 nights 1 night free of an equal room to the one you have been staying in. other third party booking agencies offer other incentives in different ways such as name your own rate or bid for a room ect ect.  Whyndham Rewards does not even began to compete when it comes to “rewarding” their loyal customers infact whyndem has got to be the most unrewarding host of all its competitors. Thats not very "rewarding" at all! Hopefully I gave you something to consider. I appreciate you for taking the time to read my review. Have a wonderful day. Sincerely Cyndee Weir

This was the first time I ever booked a hotel through Price breaker on Priceline. I was looking for something reasonably priced in the Scottsdale area, which is usually hard to find, especially this time of year. This is the one Priceline chose for me, and I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised.
The gentleman at the front desk who checked us in was very nice and sociable. It is an older building so things may be a little bit more worn looking, but everything was clean and well-maintained. It was a very quiet location as well. Nice pool. They don’t offer breakfast but have a little snack area with reasonably priced snacks and sodas as well. I would definitely stay here again.
If you’re looking for a high end hotel in Scottsdale this will not be your pick. But if you just want a nice quiet, clean location this will work for you.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating when I asked for a room on the first floor. The room was clean and even had a refrigerator. Our room faced the pool and courtyard area and it was a nice atmosphere. The only problem was the bed's were not very comfortable, so I had two nights of not sleeping very well. This place is affordable and very close to the venue were we saw two concerts, Talking Stick Resort, and right across the street to the Diamondback fields where spring training games are played.

The room was spacious, however the beds were really uncomfortable. We chose this hotel because it had a sofa and since we were 5 we needed one. But it was IMPOSSIBLE to try to sleep at the sofa, it was as if you were lying on top of wires covered with a blanket. There were not enough pillows and when I asked for more the man at front desk told me he couldn’t give me one because my room wasn’t part of the hotel w/o even asking, after I complained then he looked at my reservation and noticed he actually could and eventually gave me the pillows. Same happened with towels and toilet paper. (The cleaning service was not included because they were understaffed) When I called complaining for not wanting to give me towels, a lady took the phone and yelled at me saying if I wanted I needed to go at front desk for them. She literally yelled at me. Btw the excuse they gave me of not wanting to give me those things was because they rented part of the building to Pima suites (whom were always trying to abuse from their services) and they continuously thought my room was from that building. Just the most horrible experience at a hotel. The only good thing was the price but if I knew what I was expecting I would’ve never gone there.

When we got to our room, there was a cockroach on the bed. I called and requested a different room, which also had dead cockroaches in it. The room had not been cleaned thoroughly - there were dirty socks, trash and a hospital wrist band left in the room. There was also an odor in the room that smelled like a mixture of cleaning solution and urine. There was no bedding/pillows for the sofa bed in the room and the front desk did not have any pillows. The sofa bed was also extremely uncomfortable. We were highly disappointed with our stay - I definitely would not recommend this hotel.

We tried to take our Kindergarten Graduate for a pool day and stay in Scottsdale after the “stay at home” had been lifted and he missed his graduation. The hotel we originally booked had a change of heart to open their pool so being 4+ hours from home we decided to try this hotel. The lobby and front desk staff was nice. The grounds are pretty. The room we ended up in was a good size with a patio opening up to a big green space. That is where the positive ends. The room was absolutely disgusting. The longer we were in the room the more we realized we don’t think it had been cleaned at all between who stayed there last and us. They might have put new towels and made the beds. But I wouldn’t bet on it. The floors were filthy and hadn’t been vacuumed in a long time. There was a half eaten chicken nugget with bbq sauce on it on the floor between the bed and night stand. There was drippings all in the fridge. There was something split and splattered all over the ottoman. The tv’s didn’t work. There were crumbs and streaks on the table. The nightstand hadn’t been wiped. The patio chairs and table hadn’t ever been wiped off. It seemed like there may be long term residents there that don’t give you the warm and fuzzies. We were supposed to stay 2 nights. We couldn’t in good conscious let our kids go in the pool after seeing how the room was “cleaned” so we had to tell them it was still closed and cut our trip short. We do a lot of family trips and staycations and I have never been so disappointed in a hotel in all my life. If you choose to stay here just be aware.

With all of the good reviews I expected this place to be better. I had to move rooms because the 1st room I was out in was disgusting. Stains on the floor, furniture and nothing looked wiped down. There was even hair in the bathtub and tissue dispenser. The second room was not much better with stains everywhere, the blankets on the beds might as well been two fitted sheets they are so thin, my shower faucet randomly started aggressively dripping at 5 AM so I had to get up and wrap a towel around it to muffle the sound, when housekeeping came to tidy my room they literally took the hand towels I left in the floor to be replaced and put them back on the towel rack- I knew they were the same ones because I used them to remove my makeup and the stains were folded into the inside, they also left the blankets in a pile on the bed. For almost $300 a night I expected to have a room where I felt clean enough to sleep in the bed. Was not the case here. I will never come back here, i can’t believe all of these other reviews to be honest.

Stayed here in between houses, and I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable and how friendly the staff is for the low price in a great location of Scottsdale near the 101. The rooms are not fancy , but it had everything I needed. Bright bulbs in the lamps, mini frig, clothing rack, hot shower with great pressure, comfortable bed, heat, easy walk to parking lot, clean and spacious. The free breakfast was delicious with eggs, sausage, and French toast plus yogurt and sweet rolls as well. There is a heated pool and jacuzzi, a fitness room and laundry room. I would stay here again. Stacey at the front desk made my stay even better as she was knowledgeable, friendly and positive. She went out of her way to make me feel special, and this is the kind of service that’s hard to find at most properties !

Stayed here 4 nights. Room was good size but dated. I might have given a higher rating if not for the bites on my arms and legs. I called the hotel to alert them to bed bugs in Room 308 and was told it was spiders or other insects. She said they were aware of it and on top of it. From pictures found on Internet, they sure look like bed bug bites.

Stayed here two years ago and was in the building with an an indoor hallway, and never had a problem. For my second stay, when I booked my room I requested a quiet room on the upper floor, away from the pool. I checked in right after the 3pm checkout time, and was given a room on the floor level right next to the pool. I asked to be switched to a quiet room, but they informed me that they were fully booked. Not a huge deal, but still disappointing as I had made my reservation months ago. Also, this Days Inn is advertised as a non smoking hotel, yet the couple in the room next door sat out front on their patio chairs outside and continuously smoked all day. A woman several rooms down did the same, even though there are no smoking signs posted everywhere throughout the premises. I will not be staying here again, as I paid for a non smoking hotel and didn't appreciate having to walk through the clouds of smoke every time I left my room.
