Good location for our purposes. Big parking lot, large lobby. The female staff was very unfriendly, but efficient. Room rather large, nice bathroom, furniture all very good, wonderful beds. Obviously renovated. Quiet at night. Good desk, good lights, fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Wifi worked ok, but better near the door. TV worked only after we got help, twice. Grounds very nice, inner courtyard with lawn, large established trees. Big pool and jacuzzis. Breakfast was miserable, a bag with a little juice, an unsavory pastry, and an apple. Due do Covid-19, I guess. Normally, a hot breakfast, I think.

I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay at our hotel. I appreciate the very detailed review, this will allow me to discuss with my team how we may improve our guest's stays. Our breakfast is typically a breakfast bar with a variety of items to choose from however, due to Covid we do only offer our breakfast bags and coffee in the morning time. Thank you for noting our lovely property aspects and I do hope that you may give us another chance in the future. Have a great day!

We tried to take our Kindergarten Graduate for a pool day and stay in Scottsdale after the “stay at home” had been lifted and he missed his graduation. The hotel we originally booked had a change of heart to open their pool so being 4+ hours from home we decided to try this hotel. The lobby and front desk staff was nice. The grounds are pretty. The room we ended up in was a good size with a patio opening up to a big green space. That is where the positive ends. The room was absolutely disgusting. The longer we were in the room the more we realized we don’t think it had been cleaned at all between who stayed there last and us. They might have put new towels and made the beds. But I wouldn’t bet on it. The floors were filthy and hadn’t been vacuumed in a long time. There was a half eaten chicken nugget with bbq sauce on it on the floor between the bed and night stand. There was drippings all in the fridge. There was something split and splattered all over the ottoman. The tv’s didn’t work. There were crumbs and streaks on the table. The nightstand hadn’t been wiped. The patio chairs and table hadn’t ever been wiped off. It seemed like there may be long term residents there that don’t give you the warm and fuzzies. We were supposed to stay 2 nights. We couldn’t in good conscious let our kids go in the pool after seeing how the room was “cleaned” so we had to tell them it was still closed and cut our trip short. We do a lot of family trips and staycations and I have never been so disappointed in a hotel in all my life. If you choose to stay here just be aware.

Stayed here two years ago and was in the building with an an indoor hallway, and never had a problem. For my second stay, when I booked my room I requested a quiet room on the upper floor, away from the pool. I checked in right after the 3pm checkout time, and was given a room on the floor level right next to the pool. I asked to be switched to a quiet room, but they informed me that they were fully booked. Not a huge deal, but still disappointing as I had made my reservation months ago. Also, this Days Inn is advertised as a non smoking hotel, yet the couple in the room next door sat out front on their patio chairs outside and continuously smoked all day. A woman several rooms down did the same, even though there are no smoking signs posted everywhere throughout the premises. I will not be staying here again, as I paid for a non smoking hotel and didn't appreciate having to walk through the clouds of smoke every time I left my room.

I do apologize for the issues that you experienced during your stay and I want to assure you that we are indeed a non-smoking hotel. We do try our best to enforce this policy, however, there are times when we are not able to witness a guest breaking this rule and we do appreciate the help of other guests informing us of these instances so that we are able to correct it. To Whom It May Concern; I wanted to take the time to comment on some things. I have stayed in quite a few hotels I travel quite a bit and I  consider myself to be somewhat of a connoisseur. I am currently staying at the Days Inn and Suites at 7330 n. Pima Rd in Scottsdale Az this hotel is exceptional! So much in fact that I was reluctant to brag about it on Google Reviews for fear that everyone would know and flood the serene ambiance. It is beautiful here! Lush over growth of greenery give cooling shade to the sun’s rays. There is a variety of wildlife ,fascinating to watch. Its spring time, so quail and rabbits are educating their young.  The rooms and suites are cozy and spacious, and always clean, the staff here are all friendly accommodating and considerate. They give absolute respect to your privacy and always seem ready and eager to provide assistance.  The pool is very inviting. I hear that they have a wonderful breakfast but have yet to experience it   because of covid 19 restrictions. This hotel is in a great location freeway access and it is walking distance from a major shopping plaza and there is a wide variety of entertainment for all walks of life. If I tried I can honestly say that I  can not think of one bad thing to say about this hotel. I easily give it 5 stars. However, I have one complaint and it is a fairly large complaint, but not for the hotel but for Whyndham Rewards. I have stayed here 40 consecutive days and have yet to use any of my points. When I inquired about my points I learned I had 24,000 which at the time seemed like allot until I learned it was  15,000 for a standard room. I didn’t even have enough points to book two free nights and the room that I was able to book was a standard room when I have been staying in a suite. Not very rewarding at all considering I am a loyal customer. You should know your competition, Choice Privileges offers free rooms at about a rate of every 7th night is free and typically you will have enough points after 6 days to  get a room  equivalent to the one you had been staying in. Hotels.com offers 10 nights  1 night free of an equal room to the one you have been staying in. other third party booking agencies offer other incentives in different ways such as name your own rate or bid for a room ect ect.   Whyndham Rewards does not even began to compete when it comes to “rewarding” their loyal customers  infact whyndem has got to be the most unrewarding host of all its competitors. Thats not very "rewarding" at all! Hopefully I gave you something to consider. I appreciate you for taking the time to read my review. Have a wonderful day. Sincerely Cyndee Weir

This is an older property but clean. The surrounding area seemed safe enough and for one night was ok. If you get there late there is literally nothing nearby to eat except for maybe Taco Bell. I’m thinking its proximity to the ballpark must be attractive because this is a no frills hotel with higher than normal room rates,
