Having a 1 bedroom with 2 kids makes the room far more functional. The jack and Jill bathroom was also very helpful. Room was clean. Front desk people were nice. Room had view of mountains, which was nice. Had a hard time day 1 getting towels. Called twice for 3 sets of towels (I literally said was cloth, hand towel and dry towel) and was brought 3 dry towels. Then went down to get towels and was handed 3 hand towels. But after that point, no problems with towels. Nice pool and nice outdoor seating. And close to lots of eating and boutiques.

I have stayed here multiple times over the last 10+ years and it is perfect every single time. The service impeccable, parlor suite exceptional, restaurant good overall. Location is the best! Right next to Old Town Scottsdale with so much to do. After a long day of walking, head on over to their pool or just relax in the perfect temperature hot tub. When in Scottsdale, this is one if the best properties closest to Old Town. Travel Tip - parking is $18 a night, a bit pricey but worth it given the secured location and elevator that goes right to it. If you want to avoid the cost, there are countless parking spots just outside of the hotel that are free - you just have to get there early.

The hotel is all suites with sofa, sep living room and bedroom separated with French doors, bath tub, shower, small balcony. A nice lay out ...free coffee in room....the restaurant is over priced and has limited items only -not open for lunch...kind of unwelcoming ....most staff are pleasant however some are not nice or service oriented including at the restaurant.....neighborhood can get noisy with partiers returning late at night and trash collection early in the mornings. This is not a resort feel at all but more of a city hotel and the area is more of a city with some quaint old town restaurants, galleries, shops etc.....walkable but also quite spread out...I recommend a car while visiting here...if you are looking for a resort with a fancy pool, upscale dining or any ammenities look elsewhere and be prepared to pay way more

Unlike my previous, dismal stay at the Phoenix Marriott by the airport this was a pleasant stay in a very good hotel right in the middle of where you wanna be, downtown Scottsdale. Check in was a breeze and unlike the Marriott by the airport, when I checked in I was offered a choice of points or food voucher, not “told” that I was going to get points only. Then in the next transaction I was offered a food voucher for breakfast at the restaurant/café. All the rooms are suites and basically the same with a bedroom, very large bathroom broken into two rooms, and a living room with comfy furniture and a small fridge. The only short coming was the fact that there is room for a microwave in the cabinetry and that would’ve been topping on the cake. The swimming pool is just the right size for a dip and in January the sun shows up just at 11 o’clock. The staff are all very gracious and friendly. I used my breakfast voucher, the one that I didn’t get at the Phoenix airport Marriott and received a huge southwest omelette stuffed with everything Southwest and some of the best hashbrowns I’ve ever had. Covid restrictions were in place and probably 75% of the guests were aware of how to behave. As you know valet parking has been shut down worldwide, so the choice was to park in the hotel parking garage underground for $18 a night or park on the street which I was told was quite safe. So I gave that a try. It is a short walk (1 block) to everything in Old Towne Scottsdale I will now make it my go to Marriott anytime I’m in Phoenix
