I have lived here since March. There is a great combination of people who live here full time like myself and visitors. The ammentities like golf and gym membership are a great plus. It's a quiet property and the girls at the office are so helpful and accommodating. Perfect location in the heart of Old Town right on the green belt.
We booked our stay here for a small cousins reunion in Phoenix. As our time neared, COVID-19 started to spread in the U.S. We seriously considered whether we should still go on our trip or not, but because the pre-paid room charges were non-refundable, we decided to still go. We checked in around 5:00 pm on St. Patrick's Day, just as Phoenix announced a shutdown of all bars and restaurants effective that evening. Our check-in process was smooth. We were given our front gate clicker and advised it had been sanitized. We were advised to take coffee packets to our room for each day of our stay if we wanted. She explained they typically have coffee in the office each morning, and make popcorn in the afternoons, but in the interest of protecting everyone, those activities were temporarily suspended. The office would be open for business, but closed for social activities. The gym usage and free golf were also temporarily suspended. These are all situational adjustments that they needed to make to improve the safety for all. We appreciated the level of attention they gave to the matter. While we were disappointed with the circumstances, we could not have selected a better place to stay, especially during times of "social distancing." It was really nice to have our own apartment, with a full kitchen and an outdoor deck facing the beautiful park. One of the things that drew us to Scottsdale Park Suites to begin with was its proximity to that park because we enjoy disc golf and there's a course right on the other side of the fence. We played disc golf multiple days. We found a nearby sports bar (Duke's) and that became our dinner spot for a few days since some restaurants were still open in Scottsdale. We went for walks in the large park, which had lovely water features with birds and also served as a path to the nearby grocery store. We enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub at Scottsdale Park Suites. The apartment was lovely, clean and well accommidated for an extended stay. The staff were very conscientious during a difficult time. The other guests were friendly. And the location was wonderful. I would absolutely stay here again.…
The management team needs to do a better job in explaining things. It’s not fare how I was treated at this hotel! I was charged for towels, bed sheets and a new dresser. And I didn’t wash my dishes so I was charged for that too! I’ve never had an experience like this at a hotel! Horrible!
The staff are wonderful! Especially the manager Alizia! She has treated me like family! We hadn’t intended to be here as long as we have. But they’ve made it comfortable and easy to stay a bit longer. We would highly recommend staying here. Whether it’s for a short term lease or a quick vacation. Two thumbs up! The grounds are immaculate.
In 1918 I stayed for 6 1/2 months. Loved it. Back to Scottsdale again for 3 days. Stayed there again in a newly remodeled suite. Absolutley fantastic. Staff is still really nice. The grounds are well taken care of and the suite was awesome. Why would anyone stay anywhere else for more money and less accomodations? Best kept secret in Scottsdale AND Phoenix/Tempe. Don't take my word for it, just check it out and make your own decision.
