Good value for the money. Nothing fancy. Friendly staff. The pool and jacuzzi were great! Clean, perfect temperature! Problems with the TV and lamps, but maintenance was prompt. The location is awesome!

This motel is within easy walking distance to all the restaurants and nightlife you could possibly want. The room is very basic. Ours had aa entry door that was difficult to open. My wife was not able to open it on several occasions. We were there for spring training so the prices were higher than I suspect they normally are. Just an average, no frills hotel/motel room in a lovely city.

The bath room smelled like sewer. There was food left in the refrigerator from the previous guests. The pool had debris on the bottom which probably depleted the Bromine/Chlorine levels. The 200.00 a night was way overpriced for the quality of the room. This was a $79.00 room at best. I will not stay there again.

Best thing about this place is the location - right in the middle of old town and easy walk to everything - shops, restaurants. And at about $152/night probably also the best value as just about every other hotel in similar location is at least $200 and up during Feb. The room is small, with wood veneer floors which is a plus but overall feels dated with too many rough edges - balls of dust under the bed (encountered while looking for an outlet to plug in the bedside lamp), shortage of outlets (left side lamp had to be plugged in an outlet on the right - at least the cord is long enough to reach), lights not working properly, fridge and aircon making too much noise (room being in the front of the property there's also a lot of traffic noise), tired looking blackout curtains, and a strong smell of maybe too much cleaning stuff to cover up some other smell. All of which I could overlook except for the worst problem - the extremely old, grayish and rag like bed linens in dire need of replacement. The worn-out sheets felt so shabby and unpleasant we canceled a second reservation here for a few days later after an excursion in the area. In terms of facilities there is a nice good size heated pool, bigger than most (long enough to swim laps in) and a hot tub. Plenty of parking. No real lobby, just the office and small breakfast room all in one - gets busy with not quite enough seating during peak time in the mornings. Breakfast is the very basic kind: coffee/tea (good selection of Tazo tea bags however), cereal, yogurt, negligible bagels and muffins, apple/bananas, several kinds of juice from a machine.

We had a great time on this property! Everything was clean and well kept, despite a full house of guests. Thomas was very responsive to everything we needed, and friendly as could be. Check in and out was simple, stress free and easy. Pool was clean and the property is in walking distance to anything you would need.
