This is a very tired Hilton property. It had good reviews and we stayed last week and regretted wasting money staying here while so many other nice hotels are nearby. We did it based on a recommendation from a friend that lives nearby. Positives Very nice fitness center and tennis court Location Negatives Both elevators were out of service for the East building. We were on the 3rd floor and were never called to ask if we wanted to be moved. Clear American Disabilities Act (ADA) Violation. No cleaning service unless you call for it. This means everyone is calling the front desk for towels etc. Took 4 calls and 8 hours to get what we requested. Breakfast isn't what ES is known for. Very limited, no bananas for 3 days with stores next door. Happy hour isn't what ES is known for either. Sutter home wine bad/limited snack selection. Very dated and tired property. Looks like it's from the 70s. Pool furniture had holes in loungers and materials were very soiled. Never got my receipt emailed after asking 3 times. Reported one of those mercury light bulbs (curly ones) was previously broken in a lamp and I needed a new one. Never get a replacement in 5 days and these are very toxic (Mercury) and hardly used anymore in favor of LED sealed bulbs. Hope we didn't get too much mercury exposure. No luggage carts for the back building we were staying in.

Dear BDBoomer, Thank you so much for your feedback regarding your recent experience. We are working on resolving the elevator issues. It is customary for us to contact guests that are occupying our ADA rooms and offer assistance however 99% of these rooms are located on the 1st floor of the resort. Our apologies for any inconvenience this has caused you and your family. For the safety and security of our guests during COVID-19 experiences are somewhat different. Your suite is disinfected and a sticker is placed on the exterior door to ensure our guests that no one has been in their suite post disinfecting. In the event that a guest would like Housekeeping Service they may call the front desk to request and it would be our pleasure to service your room that day. There are some guests that prefer we are not in their suite. We are offering the Embassy Suites traditional Cooked To Order Breakfast as well as an Associate -Served Buffet Breakfast each morning with whole fruit, yogurt and cereal all individually packaged for your safety. Our apologies for not having bananas available, the fruit offerings are on a rotation. During our Evening Reception we are still serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as snacks which are different as it is required that all items are individually packaged/wrapped. We are one of very few Embassy Suites still offering hot breakfast items as well as complimentary beverages and snacks for the evening reception. We sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced while a guest in our resort, we in the process of making several enhancements to our resort and sure hope that you will give us an opportunity in the future to make it right..

Hotel's Favorite
For many years in a row, now, my family and I have enjoyed a summer break at Embassy Suites. It is our go-to resort as we are always confident that the stay will be comfortable and that some unique aspects of our group will be appreciated and understood. The Embassy Suites is an experience that my sister, who is developmentally challenged and thrown by overly social experiences, can enjoy. She looks forward to the familiarity of the place and the staff. It is this exact combination of people and place which allows us to venture from home and enjoy! Specials thanks go out to Manager Tim Retter who always understands my need to plan this family time in advance and whose patience is invaluable. Also, our gratitude to the front desk staff, maintenance staff, dining staff and housekeeping staff whose traditional warm greetings and commitment to service did not wane, even in the more complicated times of COVID'19. Thank you to all!

Sleeping on the road for work can be difficult. But not here. Even on Halloween night was quiet. Very comfortable beds. King suite has a very functional work space. USB ports in lamps and alarm clock. Friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. I'll stay here again.

I went to have breakfast in the morning, and there is no grab and go, only a buffet. In addition, there were many people in the buffet room queued for food service, not observing social distancing guidelines and not wearing masks. These people were interacting with hotel staff in the vicinity of food that was being served to guests. The food was not protected by any sort of splash guard or plexiglass. I mentioned to one of the workers that this was and we left. I did not feel safe, would be worried about my own health if I stayed in the room, and have concern for worker exposure to Covid. Upon checkout, I mentioned all of the above to the worker at the front desk, who was also not wearing a mask properly. He stated that there was nothing that the hotel could do about this. No attempt or effort was made to make this right, or find a substitute option that would keep me and my family safe. I have been traveling all week, and this was the first hotel that we have encountered that did not have this under control. The rooms are nice and well kept. Just don’t plan on the breakfast if you value your health.

Dear michaeloT5003ZT, Thank you so much for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced while a guest at our resort. There is no pre-made grab n go option since our food is hot, however our Breakfast Attendants are happy to prepare a "to-go" box for you with any items on our "Staff Serviced Buffet" or Cooked To Order Area. The safety and security of our guests and our associates is our Top Priority, we will continue to evaluate our service standards to ensure that we exceed expectations. It seems that we failed in this instance. We appreciate you being our guest and sure hope that you will give us another opportunity in the future.

Myself and a friend stayed here one night before joining a larger party at an Airbnb. This was an amazing start to our vacation in Scottsdale. Everything was SUPER clean in our room, bathroom, and common lobby/pool areas. breakfast was amazing, even though there was no buffet. The complimentary shuttle here saved us several Uber trips and was such a wonderful amenity to our stay. Jimmy did an amazing job. Resort is within walking distance of places to eat and grocery stores. A short Uber or shuttle ride to "downtown old town" area.
