We had a 2nd floor unit with a golf course and mountain view. It was a bit obstructed by trees but all in all not bad. The one bedroom premium room was really comfy and everything was in working order for our two week stay. Having a full kitchen was a great benefit as we made breakfast everyday and the BBQ areas outside were great for grilling. We as owners had a tidy clean each mid week and a full cleaning at the beginning of our 2nd week. the pools, recreation area, fitness room, sauna, whirlpool, etc. were clean and in working order. We had a great time at the Westin Kierland Villas.

Big shoutout to Scott Caldwell in the Management team - Gold star service. We had a concern over skipped room cleaning and he swiftly reach back out multiple times and told us the cause. Very impressed for receiving this service as expected of the Marriott group of hotels. I am a Titanium Elite member and go back to stay in the SPG/Marriott chain because of the quality they offer. One of the best muffins I have eaten was in the market place in house. Tried the blueberry and banana nut muffin. Just amazing. Love that they have iced fruit water in the otherwise hot weather. The bell boy was also super friendly and polite. Overall a great experience here and would love to come back to this place. Lots of restaurants in drive distance. We ate at a Asian restaurant called Liz Modern Asian and love it and went back multiple times. We walked to the Kierland hotel in the off path near the golf course and had dinner there on the grounds where the bagpiper played. Was all a relaxing enjoyable trip. We rented a car and had no problem finding covered parking space. Convenient.

We are multiple Vacation Ownership owners, who have enjoyed our stays at Westin Kierland villas many times. One of the aspects we enjoy is the consistency of our experience. The property continues be well-maintained, fun activities offered, and friendly service by the staff. We'd like to recognize the Market Restaurant/Bar staff for their professional, prompt, and welcoming attitude and performance. Specifically exemplified by Harvey, Tatianna, and Dani. Manuel is always the personification of poolside service, towels, and water. While Manny was not there as much in the past, his role was very capably performed by Evan in a mature, tactful, and serving way. We also appreciate the great and prompt service by the engineering corp, when needed. The housekeeping staff made sure our villas was neat and clean. And the landscaping crew continues to create a beautiful property. Thank you all - We will be back soon!

We have been returning to this hotel every fall for the past 12 years. Each time we bring various family members who have all enjoyed everything this venue has to offer. We’re happy to see that things are starting to return to normal after the pandemic. The recreation counselors are wonderful with the kids. The recreation pool offers several fun activities every day for both children and adults. Our favorite adult activity is the Wine Tasting with Tony Miller. We NEVER miss it!! The spa, golf course and pool at the adjoining Kierland Resort just add to the overall relaxing experience. The location is great. Shopping at Kierland Commons and Scottsdale Quarters are within walking distance.

We aren't owners at this property but have stayed here a few times. This time we were in the smaller side of a two bedroom lock-off. It was not a nice room. No windows, very dark and uninviting. There was only a sliding door in the bedroom. The unit needs to be renovated. Carpet, sofa, paint, cabinets etc.. The bathroom you can see from the photos needs a gutting. Really disappointed.

The Villas are the Westin Vacation Club property associated with the like named resort and spa. They have their own eateries, pools (including adult quiet pool), and nice accommodations where families can unwind for a stay and play vacation. They are ideally located in Scottsdale, close to good restaurants, activities, and sights. The Villas are well appointed, and they've thought of little things - dishsoap, laundry detergent, and labeled items. On the downside, none of our rooms had any shampoo, conditioner, or shower gel. Easily remedied, but odd that it was missing. Another downside was the television service. You'd be watching something and all the sudden the TV would switch back to the Mariott channel. It made no sense. A positive: The Concierge knew where to send you for food. Every recommendation was spot on. Lots of knowledge of hikes and local attractions. A negative: Pool areas were nice, but often, the loungers had debris (vegetation) on them, and many were missing the padding. A positive: The icewater service pool side is a nice feature. The service by the pool was quite nice. The grounds are pretty, and the villas overlook the golf course. Don't let anybody fool you... yes, you can walk to the resort and spa next door, but don't. Too far, and in the summer, too hot. Take the shuttle service that they offer or drive yourself. (you need to get pool access cards from the resort next door to access those amenities). We found the food at the Market Grill to be subpar and overpriced for what was offered. It's a miss. Note that there are grocery stores, pharmacies, etc. in the immediate vicinity. Shopping abounds, and there are endless options for breakfast places nearby. It's all very nice and very family friendly. Now... for the sidenote.... We had one run in with a staff member that really missed the mark. There was an obvious error on the property's end when it came to one of our reservations. Instead of addressing the matter in a professional manner, I got a call that essentially boiled down to " get out " There was no talking or reasoning with this individual. It wasn't until I pushed back with the correct information and a lengthy hold on the telephone while it was "checked out" that I got a begrudging effort to acknowledge it was something on their end. I don't have a satisfactory explanation for what happened or why. I went to the front desk later in the day to ask for an explanation. I didn't get a satisfactory explanation. Did it all work out? Sure. But the interaction was belittling and condescending, and it resulted in our leaving the property the next day with a negative opinion. I've written a fair review of the resort and the villas. It's all very nice. Without the interaction we had, it's really a great place to stay. Sadly, we were made to feel unwelcome.

My wife and I have stayed here one other time and now we are back. We just love it. We are only here for 3 nights, but it hasn’t disappointed us at all. Yes, it’s hot, but we are here in mid July! I want to say that Robert at the front desk is a true professional. Our room wasn’t ready when we got here, but he kept us updated and offered us pool keys. The villas are really nice. They have everything you need to feel like you’re at home without being at home. Beds are very comfortable and the AC works great! We prefer the “relaxation” pool, which is quieter than the activity pool . The water is refreshing in the summer heat. We will definitely be back!

This was our first time staying at this particular Westin and our first time staying at a Westin Vacation Club (timeshare property that can be booked like a hotel). Antonio checked us in and was super friendly and explained the amenities and activities available during our stay. The resort is actually pretty small compared to most in the Scottsdale area. I did appreciate no resort fees and no parking fees, both rarities these days. There was ample parking but the "good" spots closest the the buildings filled up very quickly each day. We booked a larger one bedroom unit and it was great. It's super spacious with a separate living/dining/full kitchen area, good sized bedroom and very large bathroom. I loved having double sinks in the bathroom and space to spread out. I also appreciated the full kitchen although we didn't cook anything. It was way too hot to be out on the patio but it was large and had multiple seating options. The king sized bed was comfortable (I would say medium firmness) but the pillows were awful. They were king sized but super flat and not supportive at all. I ended up having to fold the pillow in half and even then it was still uncomfortable. All the pillows (including the extra ones in the closet) were the same so a variety (sizes/firmness levels/shapes) would be nice for the hotel to consider. I also wish there were rooms with two proper beds (vs. one king bed and sofa sleeper). The location was fine. You're fairly close to Kierland Commons (the hotel has an on-demand shuttle there) with dining and shopping options and there are two grocery stores very close as well. The Westin hotel is right next door and you do have access to their amenities including golf course. Otherwise the area is mostly apartment buildings and businesses without much to do. The location was further away from the things we were interested in, so probably wouldn't stay here again for that reason alone.

I read some reviews and was really surprised when we arrived and they couldn't have been more wrong. I loved this hotel! The beds were so comfy, the rooms are very large, the staff couldnt have been more delightful. Especially Delvecchio at the front desk. What a nice young man and a perfect host for out first impression. We will definitely be going back when its not as hot. Between the pools (lazy river what?!), bars, golf, restaurants and shuttle bus to the nearby malls, this resorts an A+
