We stayed for about a week. The people were very nice here. Shoutout to Derek, who was super friendly every morning when I went down for my coffee. He remembered my coffee order by the 2nd time I came down (which I am VERY particular and have all the weird customizations)...Sometimes it's the little things that make your day better! I worked from the Lobby all day without any internet issues. Overall this was a very nice stay. Nothing super fancy, but nothing alarmingly unsanitary or unsafe.

We stayed here and it was your typical corporate getaway hotel. I would recommend it. My husband and I will be coming back. We did get in trouble for bringing our little dog though. We went to the pool which was nice and the towels were clean and sanitary which is all we really ask.

This is a newer hotel with good internet. That's about all I can say that is nice. The thing that got to me most was check-in. We were greeted fairly coldly, which is whatever. The problem was that she couldn't communicate that housekeeping was required after two nights, or why it was required. I don't clean my house every three days, I certainly don't need it at a hotel room after a couple days. Required, too? I assume this was some security thing, but I don't know if it is somehow pandemic-related, or related to the Las Vegas shooting. Had they been able to communicate why, I might have not had a problem with it. Maybe. On the security note, did we stay in Scottsdale, or some crime capital of the US? You weren't able/allowed to enter through any door except the lobby (even with key card), and even that door was locked at 7pm. Was I missing something about how unsafe this area is? I don't think so. I just don't get it. The apps on the TV were useless - the sound couldn't play in sync with the video, and the TV was in a poor placement in the room. The shower had two options - way too hot, and too cold. There was no in-between no matter how much we tried over the three days. I don't think I've stayed in a Courtyard before. I'll probably give them another chance, but I hope this isn't the chain's theme.

This is a decent hotel centrally located in Scottsdale,AZ close to most family attractions (Odysea Aquarium, Butterfly Wonderland, RailRoad Park) as well as Old Town Scottsdale where most of the nice restaurants are located. Overall it's a clean Marriott property. I have stayed at SpringHill Suites and Residence Inn before, so this is comparable to those properties. Front desk office is top-notch, definitely that's a high point for the hotel. With that said, here are couple of issues I have seen with the property: 1- Pool hours have been published online at Marriott site as 7 AM-11 PM. When we arrive to the hotel, actual hours were 9 AM-9 PM. This was disappointing for my daughter. 2- Heated pool is an important thing for us since my daughter likes swimming in the pool with us. Before booking the hotel, I have been told the pool is around 80 degrees. It really felt more like in the 70s at most and she wanted to swim in the evening and it was colder than that. We did it anyway, and thanks to Front office Lead Kiara's help, we got towels and everything we need to use the pool. 3- I understand Starbucks is standard for Courtyard Marriott. I prefer better coffee, so I go out and pick a different coffee. Bakery selection looked very small and didn't look fresh either. Scottsdale has great coffee shops (FourtillFour, Cartel Coffee Lab) so that's taken care of. Overall, it has been a while I was in Scottsdale and things have improved in the city and I look forward to visiting again.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review here on TripAdvisor regarding your recent stay with us. I have shared your comments about our front desk customer service with our team - we are so happy to celebrate this with them! As for your comments about the pool hours, I have my team working to ensure our hours listed on the website match our actual hours. There has been some changes with COVID-19 guidelines, however we will ensure this is up to date promptly. Our standard for the pool is to be heated to 80 degrees. I have reiterated the importance of this to our maintenance team to ensure this was an isolated incident. Lastly, our team is committed to replenishing all food items daily to maintain freshness. We truly do appreciate your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to serve you again in the future. Thank you for staying with us!

I stayed here last week and wanted first of all to commend the front desk staff! Wonderful staff and very personable. I I immediately felt “safe” upon entering through the doors. Hand sanitizer stations throughout the hotel, flyers at a small table for delivery restaurants or services, they are limited to one person or n the fitness center at a time! One of the few hotels that even had the bistro open for certain hours as well. Housekeeping was also spot on as they clean certain days of week now. I am returning this coming week and staying here, I was so impressed
