It was overall ok for a visit. The pool is nice. The room was ok, but the bedroom door wouldn't latch close so you couldn't lock it. Not much privacy from our kids.thebfront The front door security lock just pulled right off the wall and there was a huge gap underneath the front door. The ceiling fan in the bedroom only had one speed, high or nothing. The main problem was the lack of communication about the COVID rules at the pool with regards to capacity. Nothing was explained at check-in. I was happy they were doing it, but there was confusion. We figured out the hard way that you had to be down there at 11am, 1pm, 3pm etc to get in if at capacity. The first few days, the lady that was in charge of the pool, named Quiari, was really rude about everything. Our first day at the pool, she told my kids they couldn't have their rings. I said my son who is autistic needed it and that there were no signs posted stating the no floatie rule. Next day, she typed up signs on paper and put them on the door. Our room had a view of the pool and I saw another mom with her kid in a floatie. Why? The other girls who worked at the pool in the following days were super nice and helpful. Courtney, who filled in at Aqua was awesome too! Most all employees were very nice except Quiari.…
Rooms smell like mold and truly need a renovation. The pool and pool area was dirty and the so called "activities director" lacked any kind of personality for this type of job. All staff, except the grounds and housekeeping crew, acted like they hated their job. Diamond you can do better! This is definitely a 2 star property at best. Would not be back or reccomend.
My stay was relaxing and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable and well maintained and supplied with all the things needed for my enjoyment. There were ample stores closeby to shop and to get groceries.
Scottsdale villa mirage was the perfect way to end our 3 day camping trip. I had no idea how kid friendly this place was. My 2 year old couldnt get enough of the splash pad pools and hot tub! Everyone was extremely friendly and the place was spotless. I have already recommended this place to several friends traveling with children. What a great experience! Definitely gonna go again!
I have 4 kids ages 2-9 and we had so much fun with all the fun things to do on site! The pool is beautiful, mini golf, fire pit! We went to the activities center and my kids decorated a flower pot to keep it was so cute!
