I have stayed at this location in the past (prior to covid) and the team has always been great and amenities have always been clean... a lot has changed post covid!...

I reported the room door, which did not close completely and therefore was not secure... There were no security gates separating ground floor rooms from outside areas... Room hallways enter from the patio, so one goes outside to the patio to find their hall... The convention space is generous with room for breakout meetings, and dining and/or party space related to one's group...

The water in our room was scalding hot... When I contacted the front desk after our first night, they sent maintenance to our room and after looking into it a bit, his solution was "just barely turn it on so it doesn't get too hot."... The front desk said unfortunately there's nothing more they can do during our stay and offered us a nightly rate of $100 instead of $129...

...Housekeeping tried entering our room at 8am on the day of checkout, very very quietly called out (so quiet that from the bed, I couldn’t hear what they said, just heard a voice) knocked 2 times and had ZERO hesitation before slamming open the door into the deadbolt we thankfully put over the lock the night before... Tried calling the front desk from the phone in the room and it recycled through the phone tree 3 times before I had to call the National hotline to connect to the front desk to find out if it was a guest or staff entering our room during our stay... Thankfully we had the forethought to deadbolt the door shut but had we not, we would have had a stranger come in our room, not only seeing my undressed partner but also opening the door for anyone passing by to see...

...Do not clean rooms or take out trash despite several requests...

I traveled in March (temps were 60-70’s day/40’s at night), and my room was FREEZING... Turns out there’s a major flaw—anytime someone wants to go between heating or cooling, a valve in the ceiling of the room has to be MANUALLY switched over... They advertise room service on their website, but I had to specifically ask for a menu... The room should have a QR code to the room service and restaurant menus...

...It is a older hotel but clean and well run by friendly employees. We liked the free parking option, we loved our pool view balcony with bonus view of Camelback Mountain-ask for pool rooms closer to the lobby-it's better located to lobby bar/restaurant then the other pool...

...This is a hotel that needs some major work. My room has water spots on the ceiling, bubbling in the paint, and chips in the bathroom floor... But - this place needs a serious refresh...

I have stayed at this hotel several times during the past few years... The room condition has varied over time but, judging by the room we stayed in this visit, rooms have been updated and re-carpeted fairly recently... Our room was spacious and clean, and both the bed and shower were good...

...The one downside that may be a deal breaker to many is the rooms... Large workout room with plenty of equipment ... I would come back once I could be assured the rooms have had been redone...

Our company booked the Doubletree in Paradise Valley for a seminar with 70 attendees... The rooms are large and nicely furnished...

We have stayed here and at the nearby Hilton on multiple occasions... Our room had been somewhat recently redecorated... Bed was comfortable, but three negatives with the room...

...The signs to the room were completely misleading and it took us 20 minutes to find our first room. Upon arrival, the room smelled of stale cigarette smoke... We contemplated asking to move rooms at that point, but it was almost 10:30 and we were tired and just wanted to go to bed... The staff was very nice when I called to switch rooms and got us into a new room promptly and offered us a food and beverage credit... The next room had no smell and was considerably better, although I woke up at one point and smelled cigarette smoke just like someone was smoking in our room... One of my other coworkers had to switch rooms because she found roaches in her room... I will say that the room we stayed in was large and spacious...

...To top it off they charged us on checkout for our stay then charged us AGAIN the following day after check out ...

...Upon arrival we where given wrong room we paid for room with a desert view , there's isn't any, n they where out rooms, this was sorted following day . Paid for 2 x breakfasts every morning, 3x morning kitchen was shut so just offered snacks at little pop up shop , nothing like breakfast, no housekeeping, 3x in 12 days and to top it all Cockroaches in the room, when we complained to Expedia (who where amazing) zdouble Tree Hton actually accused us of being lies...I have also wrote to head office and will be contacting health authorities with pics n videos... We where also charged county, district n state taxes every day of our stay even after we had paid all our taxes...they said we agreed , what sort of jokers are these ppl..maybe a little truth bring put out there with evidence will be wake up call they need...

A pet peeve I get it but when I stay over 100 nights with Hilton, do not nickel and dime me for another $5 for the breakfast with cold eggs and raw potatoes (the bacon was good though, as was the blueberry compote.)... give me enough credit to get breakfast on property OR I simply will not stay there again!...

Our experience at this resort was remarkable from start to finish... I’m very attentive when it comes to customer service and Salvador was top notch off the charts!!... He was very accommodating and a resourceful front desk agent... To add, we received more that was we excepted from the service, food, amenities, and our ROOM!!... And that’s what it’s all about, we felt taken care of and as long as my wife was happy and smiling that’s what truly matter... Also thank you Brian and Alfonso for the follow up texts during our stay...

There was no drink service at the pool so we had to walk to main pool bar to get drinks... Only one bartender to service a very large amount of people, long wait times...
