Our recent May 2022 stay here did not start out well. We had specifically requested a casita that did NOT overlook the pool only to find that our assigned room DID have a pool overlook. We had to wait for another room; while waiting, the valet was quite unhelpful telling us we had to move the car to "self park" as we declined to have valet drive our unusual and somewhat difficult vehicle. We couldn't just stay where we were or move to a nearby location while waiting. When we finally got to the new assignment, the lock didn't work properly; at first it wouldn't lock at all and then it locked us in!!!! My husband had a chat with the Assistant Manager, Kyle, who was totally sympathetic and sent help for our luggage (which the valet had declined to do) and also gave us some resort credit for the inconvenience. Things didn't stop there as the lock finally gave out altogether and could not be easily fixed so Kyle arranged for us to move into a nearby suite and personally helped with the luggage!! Totally above and beyond. Beyond our personal trivail, this is an excellent place with well appointed rooms/suites, lovely landscaping, super food, and friendly staff (the vast majority).…
We were disheartened to learn my husbands wallet was taken from his suitcase in our room and an attempted charge was made on his credit card from the wallet. We reported to both Andrew and assistant resort manager Kyle. After no follow up from them we reached out again after emails and were informed to report to Scottsdale Police Dept. Tonight’s phone call with Kyle ended without a good bye, so to make a bad situation worse, the unprofessional manner of him left much to be desired. Potential guests BEWARE there’s a fox in the henhouse.
I encountered exceptional customer service from the time I stepped out of my car at check in and throughout the duration of my stay. Wonderful property with great views and easy access to Pinnacle Peak. The spa is an absolute must!!
We came back again!!!! “A fabulous retreat from the Hustle and Bustle.!! Conveniently located about 40 minutes from Phoenix, on the edge of Scottsdale, the Four Seasons Scottsdale Troon North property is a wonderful facility. It is structured as a cluster of very charming “casitas” (with a gas fireplace and patio deck) situated in a very picturesque setting with Pinnacle Peak as a backdrop (the Sunsets are incredible). Ms. Kelley Moreton, the GM, has created a truly exceptional “esprit du Coeur” among the staff – they could not have been more friendly, helpful, nor capable. Ms. Moreton made herself personally available – even before we arrived – to answer questions and insure that our experience was outstanding – she deserves special Kudos! Both Check in and Check out were exceptionally easy. Kofi and Eduardo at checking in an out were exceptional. The breakfast in Proof, a Contemporary Western Themed restaurant is delicious and the servers are great! Vanessa, a charming hostess – greets you and Katia is an exceptional server. Dining occurs either in the Onyx Bar which has fabulous views of the sunset when enjoying wine, (with delicious Burgers), or in the Proof Restaurant – where Lauren is great server! Their Arizona Citrus Salad with added protein is superb . A higher end Spanish Themed restaurant -Talavera - is also available for exceptionally fine dining. There are many activities available at the resort including several pools (one adults only) which are heated - and a hot tub, a very well equipped and uncrowded Gym with a separate body movement room and a Spa but the local destinations are what this resort is really about. We enjoyed hiking and previously did Pinnacle Peak (awesome views) , and this time the Marcus Landslide (flatter and otherworldly) – both 10-15 minute’s easy drive from the resort. This region of Arizona provides a wonderful opportunity to visit scenic mountainous topography as well as Sonoran desert scenery (Saguaro cacti are abundant) that is not to be believed. Locally, there is a Botanical Garden with a very large collection of Cacti and Succulents – amazing. We’d suggest a day trip to Sedona – an easy 2 hours by car, to see the spectacular Red Rocks. Do visit Scottsdale, with a charming Old Town, as well as many varied Art Galleries and restaurants. In summary, this Resort features a wonderful team of people working to make certain you have a fabulous vacation experience and is located in a very unique region – Its obvious why we chose to return again and again. Enjoy!!”…
My headline says it all. The desert garden is amazing and unique in the world. We visited in April - at a time when the plants were really blooming. This is a lovely setting for a 5 star resort. I also liked the main restaurant - we ate 3 dinners there and enjoyed them all. Good food. Nice service. I am a big Four Seasons guy and this one did not disappoint.
I was at The Four Seasons Scottsdale with a corporate group the week before Easter. The property was immaculate! Every staff member we encountered went out of their way to be helpful. The food and service was amazing both in the restaurants and poolside.
Outstanding property with a warm and hospitable staff. Beautiful setting in the Sonora Desert with lovely rooms that include all modern amenities. Great pool and golf course. And lovely trails for walking and hiking that begin in the hotel’s backyard.
My husband and I traveled to the Four Seasons at the end of March for a birthday golf vacation. I had always heard that the Four Seasons brand was a luxury hotel. We were quite disappointed, mainly in the rooms. They are in serious need of updating! Our carpeting was very stained and frayed. The doors and walls looked like they were from the 1970's. Also, we like to sleep in a very cool room. The air conditioning would only go down to 67 degrees. I cannot imagine sleeping in that room when it gets closer to the summer months. Paying close to $1500/night for this hotel was a joke. We've stayed in nicer places for half that price. The other parts of the resort were very nice. The grounds were lovely and the views were spectacular!! Almost all of the staff were exceptional although seemed understaffed like most places. The bar area inside is very small for a resort that size. The bar itself had 6-7 seats only. There were two bartenders who were amazing but simply could not keep up with the demand. We waited one night for 25 minutes in the bar for a drink! Not great. Unfortunately next time in Scottsdale, we will not be staying here.…
This property is amazing for corporate groups. The attention to detail, level of service, and friendliness from the staff exceeded our expectations. They were able to recognize and anticipate all of our guests' & VIP's needs. I brought my husband and 10 month old with me and this property is also so great for families! Can't wait to return on a leisure trip. :)
We stayed here for a night in November 2020 (just now getting caught up on reviews since COVID) and wish we had much longer to enjoy all that this resort has to offer. The amenities and service here were great. Our room had an amazing outdoor living space and we really enjoyed watching a movie in the outdoor living room by the fire while watching the sunset.
