Nestled in picturesque desert surroundings, the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North garners acclaim for its attentive service, despite occasional lapses. While the hotel's stunning design and inviting atmosphere captivate guests, some find the rooms to be outdated. The property's amenities, including diverse dining options and luxurious accommodations, are frequently lauded, yet many travelers question the value, pointing to high prices and amenities that don't always meet expectations. Cleanliness is another highlight, with immaculate grounds and rooms, although some guests mention sporadic housekeeping issues.

Disclosure: We were on the "corporate dime" for a conference. With that being said, everything was top notch as you would expect (demand?) from such a property. The group food was outstanding- especially for breakfast. Plenty of privacy on the property. Spacious rooms. Not too many dining options near the property unless you have a car or rideshare. That can be a plus or a minus though. One of the big drawing cards IMHO is the seclusion of it all. Pool area and amenities are spacious with plenty of area to relax. Staff also "can do".

Debating between poor and average. Went with average because of most of the staff. In short though: It’s not a five start hotel. Let’s start off with toast. You ask why? Because it was the most outlandish thing ever. 4 regular slices of toast for breakfast = $18. $18!!! For four regular slices of toast. Mentioned the surprise to the waiter who just replies with: “I know, pretty pricey!” Indeed, buddy, would’ve been nice to point that out when the toast question came up. Everyone is obviously fine with paying high prices for accommodation and meals, etc., but a surprise $18 for four regular slices of white toast, that takes it to a new level. - Dinner on the bar patio: Beautiful patio. But appetizers and main courses all arrived at the same time. Like… what!? Mentioned it to the waitress and one other guy: Just shoulder shrugging. “Busy kitchen, some events going on.” Ok, and…!?!? - Turn down service: How hard can it be to get that right!? I don’t know, but must be hard. One night out of all nights it worked out during the requested time frame (2 hour window, requested for the same time frame for each night). Also, when there are clearly three people, can we provide and set up three waters instead of just two? Yes, the kid who uses the sofa bed is also thirsty. And provide three sets of towels upon arrival instead of me having to call for a third set? The little things… - Reception staff at arrival and check-in experience was 3-star level experience. Check-out too. Mentioned the above items: No one cared. - Valet parking is $37, self parking is $25: I appreciate self parking options since I don’t want others to drive my car, but $25 to park in the desert… - Rooms are outdated. Nothing to see here. Bathrooms are dull. Showers mediocre. Water pressure is totally poor. - You get water in metal cans. Most impractical thing ever. - You pay $10 for a cup of coffee, but they still charge you $1 for a bit of almond milk. Tacky. Like that toast. - Rain came down one afternoon. One would think a five star property takes in the cushions from their uncovered outdoor seating area. Nope. Let’s get it all soaked so people can’t enjoy the nicest outdoor seating for dinner nor for breakfast the next morning. C’mon… Staff overall is nice. Property is nice, great pool area. Food is great no matter where you eat. Overall, too many flaws and simple “really!?” moments for a Four Seasons at that price point.

My wife and I spent a wonderful weekend at the Four Seasons Scottsdale Resort. This is a beautiful property with spectacular views right at the Pinnacle Peak, which is also a great hiking spot. Our room was ideally located with views over the pool toward the Peak. This is one of Four Seasons best locations. Thy Onyx Bar Terrance at sunset also provides fantastic views, particularly at Sunset. Once the sun drops, the staff are quick to turn on the firepits and heaters. Delicious Drinks and Appetizers make this a great spot for relaxing early evening. We had a lovely meal at Proof Restaurant and In room dining on our balcony. Both were exceptional. We loved just sitting on the balcony and taking in the views. One of the other highlights was the friendly staff and prompt service. I left my sunglasses in my car and valet went right to get them and run them back to my room. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. My wife and I have been to many Four Seasons Resorts and Scottsdale if definitely one of the best. We would highly recommend this property and we will be back!

The resturant “Proof” is a great, actually, it is a fabulous place to dine. Why? Because the manager, Kate Acheson is an exemplary leader, and great leaders lead and create like minded and like performing wait-staff like Autumn. My dining experience could not have been better or more enjoyable. I greatly appreciated their efforts to ensure my 5-Star dining experience. Of all my options for residence and dining, it was my experience in Proof, with these two stalwarts that caused me to return and, return. I am a retired Army Colobel, and I recognize leadership in the leader and in the wait-staff who impose the standards of the leader on those who prepare the food customers consume. If you wish the highest quality dining experoence, dine mere and ask for this manage and this wait-staffer; Kate and Autumn respectively. David Morehouse, Ph.D.

not as good as i remember. Too much smoke in the burger. very expensive. ambience is loud. tables are almost always bad—this time at the low bar facing a wall two feet from my face. The guacamole and dips appetizer was notably bland. margarita was ok but not memorable

Just like all Four Seasons, the atmosphere, staff and the service is phenomenal. However, the rooms are not that luxurious. They look great and feel private, but the beds, sheets, shower, etc. are not 5 star luxury. They are just adequate. The rooms are also noisy with constant clicks, bangs and unusual sounds. I hate to say it, it just does not seem like a 6 star resort at this price.

My stay was wonderful. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The fitness center was excellent. The locker room had a sauna, steam room, and relaxation lounge that were really nice. My room was really nice. It was expensive but worth it. It was too chilly to use the pool but they looked nice.

We took a long weekend to Scottsdale and our trusted travel agent of many years - Chad Rodame and Byron Travel - 'pushed' us to Four Seasons Scottsdale. We have stayed at a number of Four Seasons prior, and this did not disappoint. Kelly (GM) and her team - AJ, Shereen, Joel, Manny and so many more were just amazing. Facilities beautiful, service 5 star, peaceful, location and everything is amazing. Hikes like Tom Thumb and Pinnacle peak - five mins away, so quiet, and views are fantastic. Chad/Byron Travel spoke as highly as they could about Kelly, this location and the team and now, we fully understand why they did. Thanks to the team and the Four Seasons for another great experience. We will be back here many times more for long weekend stays!

My family and I--seven strong--spent five nights at the Four Seasons Scottsdale last week, and we were so impressed with all aspects of the resort. The rooms are beautiful, the staff caring and attentive, the food is wonderful, and the grounds well maintained. The location is fabulous.
