I thought Prescott was quaint. It is not! The downtown area is old fashioned and western like and the area the Apple Creek Cottages is in is also. The property is pretty and well kept. The room we stayed in (#9) was a little outdated, but had all the amenities that we needed, included a full size fridge and kitchen... More

We had a late check in which was fine. The room (cottage) seemed like it had been built in the 1960's, and never updated! Doors hard to open, appliances added with what looked like cheaply added electrical. The room smelled like a potpourri factory and I have bad allergies so I couldn't even stay there. We drove around for an... More

My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much at these cottages. We traveled with our two dogs. The room was very clean and well equipped with what is needed for a short stay. Josh, the manager, was extremely helpful and accommodating. Even though these cottages are dog friendly, you wouldn't know it since the room was so clean and... More

We have stayed here several times over the last couple of years. The cottages, the staff, and the property are all wonderful! Even my boys love it. It's like camping, without the roughing it according to them, because there so much nature nearby!

Room had blinds missing, cob webs in the window, AC was inch from your head when in bed, water running in the bath tub! Overall poor maintenance. When I told the Manager he said to you realize that your in the National Forest like that was the excuse. Stayed only one night of two and they refuse to refund two... More

My 8yo daughter and I enjoyed these cute cottages. The care and energy spent in this place is evidence of the owners' love for it. Prices are incredibly low for what you get. It's no Marriott, but the lights work, there is hot water, ample kitchen utensils and dishes, comfy beds, and a charming yard set right on the creek.... More

We adored the atmosphere. My grandchildren made friends. I could let them play outside becasue I could see them out the windows of the cabin. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, The little gal that ran the place was super sweet and helpful. We had a lovely time and will return.

This place is the worst. Other reviews said to book ahead to get what you want - we did - and when we got there the room was still occupied. Lady said she would upgrade us - IT WAS THE WORST! A total downgrade. I booked with my mother and they gave us one bed and didn't know why we... More

Having grown up in Prescott, I really look forward to visiting my home town when I can and it only makes the trip better to stay at the cottages. It's rustic, and what you would expect with old cabins. The owner is obviously doing renovations and updating the furniture etc. I can only image how great it will look next... More

Cute cottages. Everything I expected in a cabin. Not like a motel but rustic, warm, lovely. Our dogs had a ball, Josh (the manager) is great. Nice ambience. This not like a hotel, but is a wonderful cabin. Bed and pillows were new, towels were great. Pets are welcome. Only $5/night for BOTH dogs.
