I wasn't sure at first about a dormitory style hostel but I was greatly pleased! The place is charming, clean, breakfast is provided as well as games and movies. The owner is so kind & generous - she clearly loves helping people going above and beyond. She offered to drive me to the store and to & from the shuttle.... More

I have stayed at the hostel on two different occasions and both were incredible! Beds are super comfy, free breakfast and coffee, shared bathroom was always clean, and I always felt very at home. The hostel is super cozy and Eve is the sweetest! She is always available if you have any questions or concerns during your stay. The location... More

This is a once in a lifetime adventure! Eve is an awesome hostess and the Hostel is one of a kind and very unique inside. You cant go wrong with the accommodations to include she has fresh coffee, fruit, cereal and oatmeal set out every morning so that you can get something to eat before heading out. You are literally... More

The place is cheap and the beds are usually freshly made. The woman who runs it, however, is very unstable and kicks people out at random. I wouldn't recommend staying here for more than a couple nights. She is very controlling of certain people and has a bad habit of pushing her way into your life with unsolicited advice. She's... Always an enjoyable stay, this was my third visit. Beds are really comfortable. The shared bathroom has never been an issue and works out well. Eve is really conscious of visitors needs and does a great job of making everyone comfortable and providing what they need.

Great location, nice owner.... but nothing else works. Clutter gives way "as art" but its more like a flea market than art. As an art lover, I realize this is subjective but clutter is clutter. I think there are 18 beds and one bathroom. It cant be more than 800 sq ft. No kitchen or sink other than bathroom. Since... More

Dirty, crowded, only one bathroom for 15 people. If someone takes a shower for 15 minutes you are out of luck. The kitchen doesn't have a sink, dirty dishes are everywhere. I have stayed at this hostel for one week and wish I didn't prepay otherwise I would leave after just one night. Stay away!

Eve is wonderful and will take care of you. It's a real family like atmosphere and a safe place to call home for a long or short stay. Popcorn is the best and coffee and breakfast will be waiting on you in the am! Enjoy! -Rex

My partner and I stayed at the hostel while on a once-in-a-lifetime bicycle trip from Victoria, BC Canada to Tijuana Mexico , then through the desert from San Diego to the Grand Canyon. The hostel has a cozy, welcoming feel to it which was refreshing and lovely as our last hostel in San Diego had the exact opposite (S.D. hostel... More

This hostel is so homey and dripping with warm energy. Eve, the owner of the hostel, is very hospitable and very intentional with who is able to stay. Everyone who stays is friendly and nice and considerate. Although there is only one bathroom, it seems to always be available. Even when there were 10+ people staying here. If someone was... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Prescott Travelers Hostel in Downtown Prescott Safe Clean Friendly. We have converted our wonderful 115 year old home into a hostel. We are 2 short blocks from all the action of the the town square. We are in the heart of the downtown historical district, next to all the different restaurants, the unique events, famous whiskey row, and all the antique shops. We are close to the hiking & biking system trails. We charge 27.00 a bed. Taxes included. We are a family run hostel and like to keep a family friendly mindset. We don't mind drinking but will not put up with annoying drunks. You will be thrown out on your ear and not given a refund. We would prefer you took a walk on the creek to smoke. We do not have an open kitchen at this time, but we are 2 blocks from all the restaurants in the city. We are a classic hostel, we use bunk beds and are a coed dormitory with a shared bathroom. Just about very weekend there is a different event that fills up the downtown area. Historical whiskey row is as exciting as ever day or night. All the great shopping and restaurants are minutes away. We offer friendly people who want to see you have the best time you can. We provide a safe space and a clean bed, a hot shower and will do our best to send you off with a smile. We are right in the heart of downtown Prescott. ... more   less
