We had the room called The Lodge... looked just like one. It was comfortable and the best part.. no TV. ( There was one in the main living area). The breakfast was delicious. Mark the owner is terrific. We appreciated his hospitality and restaurant referrals; and at breakfast, we met some pretty nice people from Tucson and California. We recommend the Gurley B&B.

If we were to come back, we may prefer to stay in the main lodge (4 nice units). On the whole, the lodge is such an attractive B&B and, during our stay, we were the only ones staying at Gurley Street Lodge. We chose the bungalow because it had a full kitchen, etc. For breakfast, we went to the main lodge and Mark served us wonderful breakfasts both days. He is talented and his skill in the kitchen was only exceeded by his hospitality. We felt like he was a dear friend (or part of our extended family) by the time we left (after 2 days). The bungalow had decibel-breaking air conditioning noise that we really tried to diminish by not to turning it on; think aircraft engines revving up and you get the idea. But the bed was comfortable, the towels were fluffy and white and soft, and the porch offered us an opportunity to sit outside and revel in the monsoon rainfall while reading. It was really special. The kitchen in the bungalow is a full-kitchen. It is a small bungalow but it suited us for 2 days. We compared it to being in Tahoe in a very rustic cabin. We had a nice visit and enjoyed ourselves. One day for breakfast, Mark made a Spanish potato, egg, onion treat (we do not eat meat) and it was spectacular. Every breakfast began with fruit and yogurt. Our second day, it was scrambled eggs with a generous sprinkling of course ground pepper, and those marvelous corn meal and flour pancakes we will dream about for a long while. Having Mark join us for breakfast was a treat. Mark is such an honest, wysiwyg ("what you see is what you get") kind of a person and he made us feel so comfortable. We are major big fans of Mark. When we come back, we may prefer to stay in the lodge. And ... you betcha, we will be back!

Thanks Mark for the hospitality and the wonderful venue! It was great to celebrate my daughter's graduation from ERAU with family and friends. The healthy blue sky and whispering pines were appreciated by all of my out-of-town family. The relaxing living room, outdoor space, and creative breakfasts were also enjoyed. The rooms were plenty big, well-equipped, and clean!

This is a peaceful haven in the city, only 9 blocks from downtown Prescott. The beds are very comfortable, with a fresh, homemade breakfast to wake up to. Mark is very friendly, hospitable, and accommodating. This would be a good venue for a small group, either a company retreat or a small wedding. We spent 3 very peaceful, delightful days in this lodge.

Since we brought my daughter's friend we needed a little more space / privacy than your typical hotel room and the bungalow fit our needs. Whilst the street view is plain the actual bungalow was modern and fitted for our needs. We opted out of the breakfast due to early starts and just kept simple breakfast food in the refrigerator. The location close to downtown was very convenient and let us enjoy local establishments like the Lone Spur Cafe. We would stay there again
