We were in space 46a. Upper loop. Wonderful. Close to restrooms with very clean showers. We hated to leave. Spent 2 nights. We're not avid hikers but we did walk some miner trails. The state park is close by for kids to visit the playground. Fish and walk around. Only $3 entry fee it's worth it. I will definitely be... More

Campsites nestled in the huge rocks of the Granite Dells. Smaller campground, but friendly and quaint. Staff were busy and in a temporary trailer while redoing the permanent office quarters. Close to Prescott and all the activities of the downtown area for food, shopping and entertainment. We camped in our RV with a tow car. The entrance was narrow and... More

Great place! Office currently is something to be desired but they're getting it remodeled. Staff is especially helpful. Always someone working around the park which shows they take care of the place. No litter any place. Well kept sites. Trees trimming in progress which will ad to the beauty. Our site was freshly trimmed up. Compared to last years, it... More

We spent a week here in March and it was a great place to stay. The camping sites are all back in.The road into your site is tight but well worth it.The Internet is quick and no problems. The washers and dryers are only a dollar. The main office is getting a update so never saw the office. The rocks around the park are... Sites are wonderful. Enjoyed talking to the crews there. Rich was helpful, Mike was as well. Lots going on around the town. Seeing them improving things daily is delightful. Tree trimming guy Mike was helpful! Enjoyed watching him do his work. Rich the guy in the white truck is very helpful! Office staff as well. Will go back! Beautiful surroundings..perfect... More

We drove in late in the day and got a spot. It was $30 with Good Sam. Nice hike to a nearby lake. Quiet setting amid jumbles of smooth rocks. Would stay here again. It is close to Jerome if you are coming that way and it is a short distance into Prescott.

Originally paid to stay two nights but extended it to a third. Beautiful spot set in the granite dells. Very close to Watson Lake with trails directly from campsite. Bathrooms were heated and clean although we didn't use. Also have laundry room if needed.

We had an enjoyable stay with our friends in early November. Sites were very nice and the Staff friendly and helpful. The campground is near Prescott, and provided a great jumping off location for exploring the entire area. While providing a "woodsy" feel in the upper campground, there are no cement slabs here; it has the feel of being a... More

We found Prescott to be a very interesting place along our travels POR was a good location. Because our motor home is older we were welcomed with a premium price. No TV, internet was good but with bandwidth restrictions we could not use Netflix or YouTube. This whole area around Prescott does not welcome dogs over 30 lbs. If you... More

We selected to stay here while attending the Prescott rodeo and made our reservation close to 6 months in advance. We were assigned a space #73 in the upper park. Once we checked in, we could see that the upper park was the better area to be. You may need to watch where you may be assigned as not all... More
