Stayed with family to enjoy resort style pool. Dingy room, filthy pool area, outdated resort. All the furniture in the resort needs updating. Clogged sink in bedroom as soon as we arrived. Looks nice online however horrible in person.

We LOVE this hotel. Yes - it needs a tiny facelift, BUT it is incredible for families. Especially at this price point. We stayed in a King bed suite, so we had the baby in a pack and play in our room with a balcony and then our 6 year old was in her own room with a pull out couch. I think the Casitas are closed but next time we come we will definitely try and get one of those. If you are a couple looking for a romantic time, and you don’t like kids everywhere, this probably isn’t the resort for you. I cannot say enough about the staff at this place. At the pool, the bartenders and cabana/check in staff are awesome. We have a 8 month old baby, and Greg made sure she was fully accommodated with a pack and play AT THE POOL Y’ALL, and Sam set it all up like a boss. The water slide is so perfect for kids - our 6 year old daughter was obsessed. DO NOT SLEEP on food. Best chicken wings I ever had. Look - this ain’t the Four Seasons, but if you have little kids (under 10) and you wanna have a great vacation somewhere with hot weather, fun pools, great food and lots of drinks - this is IT.

We stayed at this resort several years ago, which was great. This stay was not. Everything is run down, broken, and dirty. I do not recommend staying here. If the facilities were not bad enough the lack service matched the quality of the property

Grounds showing lack of maintenance and general disrepair. (broken tiles abound, rusted and broken maintenance doors, elevators are dirty and show missing tiles and broken panels, pools show staining and need refinishing, no cool decking around pools (very hot pavers), cracked/holes in plastic picnic tables etc etc etc. Front desk staff indifferent and not knowledgeable. This is a place that has been ‘let go’ over the years/decades and it certainly shows.

I can’t remember the last time I left a hotel review but I absolutely had to for this. We arrived around 8 pm, checked in and went straight to the only on-site restaurant, “Hole In The Wall”. Not a mask in sight, not even on the staff. After waiting for a table in a nearly empty restaurant for a half hour we were seated and served flavorless food by a grumpy waitress named Tumbleweed. We gave everyone the benefit of the doubt because it was nearly 9 pm and they were tired. Fine. When we got to our room we noticed the AC was broken. It was 100 outside at 10 pm. Hell on earth. Front desk couldn’t move us and handyman couldn’t fix it. We slept sweating all night. If only that was the only thing wrong! My fiancé was given food poisoning by that horrific restaurant and was up all night. In the morning we demanded to switch rooms and they complied. We swapped and the AC worked in the new room but the bathroom light didn’t. Oh well, we cut our losses and tried to enjoy the water park. That was fine. Still no masks in sight, but we’re all vaccinated so we got some chairs out of the way of everyone and enjoyed the lazy River. My brother loved the slide. Good drinks and reasonable food prices at the pool. Hot as hell but of course that isn’t the resort’s fault. The staff was pretty friendly and felt bad about everything, but this hotel is in need of a major renovation and I wouldn’t recommend the restaurant or going during covid. If you don’t mind dirty rooms with broken stuff, kids will enjoy the water park.
