This was not my first time at Royal Palms but it will be my last. I booked this hotel for a romantic getaway with my husband. The total spent during our stay was around $1k for 2 nights. I special ordered the rose petal bath that was to be done at turn down. Upon arrival everything seemed 5 star as... More

Nice location, close to Old Scottsdale. The rooms are a bit outdated. Recently bought out by Hyatt so I would expect improvements. Great staff, very friendly and accommodating. A bit expensive for the area but you pay for the quiet setting with the mountain in the background.

My 1st time at Royal Palms hotel was chaperoning a college prom there in 1963. Some dinners over the years and then my husband's 80 BDay in1994. My own 90th BDay in 2014. All were wonderful. Last week I went with my grandson for a marvelous dinner. He had the price fix dinner of spareeribs and other comfort food. and... More

We have been to the Royal Palms many time over the past 12 years. It never disappoints us. We truly feel like we have gotten away from it all. The service is outstanding from the front desk to the Valet and Bellman. The pool service is exceptional coming to fill your water glass every time it's empty. We truly also... More

Why more could you ask for? The pool was very nice, not overcrowded. Although we were there is peak summer season. Too hot for my liking but the hotel was great! Really big rooms, nice soaker tub and a separate shower and toilet. The AC was working!! Our server, Steven, at the pool was great! Service with a smile. And... More

We stayed at the Royal Palms for 6 nights in April. The grounds are very beautiful and well maintained. The bell staff were a highlight - very friendly and professional. We had a spa suite. It was nice but I was not overly impressed. Big complaint throughout the resort was smoking...cigar smoking. The guests next door to us were smoking... More

Last February (2016) my wife and I had read about their amazing Sunday brunch while we were in Phoenix celebrating Valentine's Day. We were able to get reservations and were pleasantly surprised at the variety and quality of the food at the brunch. While we were there, we were also intrigued at the resort so when we returned to the... More

Only reason i gave it 4 instead of 5 is because I was on business and the amenities arent there for the biz traveler. However, for a couples retreat with seclusion and considering i stayed there " off peak", its definitely a peaceful and serene location

We stayed 4 nights, although there are fees for parking and grounds, they told us it is so you do not have to give tips. The room was cozy and clean. The staff was so extremely friendly and offered every day to give directions to where we were going and told us neat places to stop along the way. We... More

The grounds are impeccable. The rooms are luxurious and beautifully appointed. The food and drink sublime. I especially love the lounge area cozy and intimate with wonderful selections. T Cooks restaurant takes gastronomy to another level. The staff provides first rate service - professional and friendly. This should be the model for all resorts.
