Junior premium suite has no view. It costs 40,000 points of Hyatt or $700 per night. It's unacceptable. We will never go to that resort as explorist. Front staff didn't give me the information at check in.

What a beautiful, charming resort. We stayed here 4 nights as my husband had work commitments in Phoenix. Check in was fast and easy. Our room was ready, even though we were slightly early for check in. Room was clean with a balcony with 2 chairs and a table out there. Bathroom had a large tub and separate shower. We asked for a fridge to be delivered to our room, and it was in our room within minutes. We ate breakfast every morning at the restaurant which was delicious. The true star, or should I say stars, if this resort is it’s employees. Every single employee we encountered was friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had what we requested or needed. We loved our morning breakfast servers! They are truly the best. We’ve stayed at resorts around the world, and this ranks up there with the best.

Friends trip and we stayed at the Palms. Very low key in a beautiful setting. The lounge areas are beautiful with fireplaces/pits everywhere. The pool is open 24 hours which is convenient. Limited food T Cooks is the only restarant on premises. Hallway smell is musty but rooms are nice and large and comfortable bedding. The waiter needed some training to be more attentive at dinner. Not many people there but he took forever to get us ordered and food was very late.

We enjoyed the service and environment of The Royal Palms. It doesn't have that "convention center" atmosphere which is one of the reasons we chose this location for our meeting. Will definitely return.

Nice break from chain hotels (though this former mansion in now part of Hyatt). Fun to explore, very good (though pricey) restaurant. Did a spa treatment, and free yoga on the weekend with Jennifer was a treat. Rented bikes and after crossing busy Camelback, nice ride and interesting houses. Many weddings at the hotel help the ambience and did not impact our sleep. Kudos to Jesse, a restaurant server who was great, and Jordan (at the spa) for tracking down a lost item. Also enjoyed nearby Loving Hut for mom-and-pop vegan food. Would happily return to Royal Palms.

This is the best resort in Scottsdale, hands down. It is charming, and feels like staying at a friend’s villa in Mexico. It has sprawling grounds full of nooks to duck into and character galore. The service is excellent. Everyone, from the front desk staff to waters to pool attendants genuinely seem to care. It does NOT have glitz, glam or perfect rooms. It is not shiny. It is romantic and shabby-chic and feels even more real than it is. It is the only spot for a truly romantic getaway in paradise valley. I’ve stayed at the Phoenician and JW and this place easily beats both for couples. I hope they continue to invest in and love this property.

Beautiful grounds, fountains and feel but overpriced. The pool is small but very relaxing. Food was good but very expensive. Great staff but rooms/bathrooms need an upgrade for the price. Beware of parking and resort fees.

This property did an outstanding job on EVERY aspect of your stay. We had a suite that overlooked the Camelback mountain range. It was stunning to awake every morning to the site of the beauty of nature. There were fountains in the courtyard below our room. We could hear the sound of water constantly and it was so calming I never had to use my white noise travel machine. The resort is small quiet and charming but enough variety that you don't fill boxed in. Other guests were all very chill and the over all vibe had great relaxed energy. We did use the spa (very $$$) my husband had a massage that he enjoyed my facial was BASIC nothing special. The spa itself has wonderful relaxation areas. Valet staff stood out to us with friendliness and so willing to make suggestions on activities or dining. Limitless hiking mountain biking all in close proximity 30 min or so if you are outdoor enthusiasts. This resort and spa does come w $$$ tag but if you are looking for luxury (in a higher end budget range) in a small intimate atmosphere that boost historical architecture at the base of a beautiful mountain range you found your place.

Hotel was beautiful. Service was great. Air conditioning could have been a bit colder. Interior of rooms could be a bit more updated but overall a very nice and relaxing place to stay. Service all around was incredible.

I am so glad we decided on this place instead of a hotel. The grounds were beyond beautiful. I loved all of the little courtyards we had access to, fire places, and outdoor comfy chairs. It was peaceful and we felt pampered from the very beginning. Excellent customer service everywhere you turned, valet, front desk, poolside waiters and the spa. The restaurant had excellent food. I liked that you could text the front desk and they responded within minutes. What a great way to relax and get away.
