It is very close to the convention center that I need to go. So, it is convenient and comfortable. The room is clean and the noise level is non-existence. The lobby is very nicely decorated. There are eatery places in a walking distance as well.

I call the front desk to complain about smoke in the bathroom. The second time I called (since the issue wasn't resolved) I had some man pounding on my door demanding entrance to my room and accusing me of being the one smoking since they couldn't find it anywhere else. For a woman traveling alone, it was terrifying. I felt like a criminal. I called Marriott and asked to be transferred to a different property but they wouldn't do it without charging me more points/money. I am titanium elite status but in this entire experience I felt like less than dirt. It was the worse hotel experience I've had in my life and has me rethinking my relationship with Marriott. It really is too bad since it was a nice facility and the manager was nice, but there is something extremely toxic in the culture if the behavior exhibited by security is accepted. Clearly he wouldn't have done it if he thought it would risk his job. So my takeaway is that they can abuse guests with impunity. Look elsewhere if you are a single woman.

The hotel is well situated in the downtown area. It is near mass transit so getting around town was easy. It is located a brief walk from the baseball park and convention center. All of the staff were pleasant and professional. The most outstanding folks we met were the 'Navigators' Tim Quinn and Irma Rosario. I mostly worked with Tim. His knowledge of the Phoenix area is amazing. He freely shares his knowledge and provides sage advise on how to get the most out of your time in the Phoenix area. Thanks to Tim and Irma our trip went from being good to being awesome.

Clean, large , airy hotel located Downtown and for anyone who wants to dump their transport and enjoy the easy 5 min walk to Chase Field and the Suns stadium. No car means more beer and cocktails. Staff really friendly and helpful, rooms what you should expect from a high end hotel with plenty of space and soft downy beds. Also a very competitive price at the weekends so extend your stay. It’s worth it.
