It is peaceful, but other than the pool and hiking, there is not a lot to do. A rental car is a must. The units are nice, very much like apts. No pictures on the wall, very sterile, but clean. I had read trip advisor so I knew it would be hard to find at night since we had a... More

We actually booked this property through RCI (Resorts Club International). I had asked when I made the reservation for a kind/two twin set up as we were traveling with our two teen/adult daughters. The first problem was finding the property as they are listed with RCI as the Desert Arroyo Resort. The property is in an industrial park, which is... More

As other have said, this property is in a business area and can be difficult to find, but it is right on the edge of the South Mountain preserve, so easy hiking right outside your door. It seems to be a condo complex the bought out....as they have single car garages below them. The units are equipt with residential appliances... More

We arrived September 8th 2013 and stayed 4 nights. We didn't have any problems finding the resort. However we understand why others may have had trouble. The resort is in an industrial park, the driveway to World Mark is at the very end of the road,we did question our self's once or twice wondering which driveway was World Marks. It would be... More

Arrived after midnight and was impressed by the reserved private garage under our condo. The condo was spotlessly clean and cool. Nicely stocked kitchen and bath. Very spacious 2 bedroo. Fun pool area will water fountains in pools creating a cooler environment in the Arizona heat. Free coffee in the office. Nice staff, but I didn't appreciate an early morning... More

We arrived with an RV, unaware that they would have a parking problem. We located a spot and discussed the location with security who was ok with it. The manager was not satisfied but could only suggest we take it to an rv lot where we could park it fot $30\night. He was rude, unhelpful, obnoxious, We will never return... More

I was a guest of my in- laws for this stay. I haven't stayed in a WorldMark timeshare but one other time. My overall impression was that it was nice, just not super-nice. Most everything worked and was comfortable (except the dishwasher in our unit which was broken). The biggest complaint was the air conditioning. The vents were placed so... More

My wife and I had reservations at our Phoenix Worldmark timeshare for one week but we ended our stay early due to the treatment we received from the sales staff and the General Manager who would not take care of the issues we experienced. We checked into our assigned room which was located directly next to the timeshare show rooms... More

I was very concerned after reading the reviews. We had already booked and there was no going back. We were pleased to find the 2br unit very large, spacious and updated. The decor was modern, including granite counters, large tub (jets did not work), & rain style shower. Two of the three tv's were older tube style, but they were... More

Okay, so the place is renovating all the units but there are way too many negatives. We have NEVER been treated so poorly in all our years of travel no matter where it has been. First, the management does NOT have a clue what customer service is. The resort use to be a condo complex that has been converted to... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
It is nearly impossible for anyone who is in any way sensitive to the beauty and grandeur of nature to stand in this special place and not feel the power that the Pimas refer to as the strong medicine of the South Mountain Preserve. Here, we have rediscovered a special place to share with our owners and guests. This is truly a place of deep relaxation and natural beauty. A place gently cradled in the largest regional wilderness park preserve in the country which covers over 50 square miles of pristine Sonoran desert. Surrounded by unspoiled panoramas and teeming with a stunning variety of wildlife that belongs to this desert community, it is seemingly a remote retreat, minutes from downtown Phoenix. ... more   less
