The staff is NOT very nice and the pool is closed however they only tell you AFTER you check in. Yes there is a sign which happens to be hidden in the corner. You can use the poll at the other place but its 14 miles away. The rooms are clean.
We travel across the US and often stay at Indian Casino/Hotels for the amenities like restaurants, bars, gambling, etc. Usually we are at least satisfied with these type of facilities and often pleasantly surprised, however this was one of the worst in those terms. Although the actual hotel and rooms were nice and fairly clean, that's about all I can say that was positive. My wife called ahead and asked if the outdoor pool was heated, and they assured her that it was. Turns out the water was too cold to actually swim and the pool was full of leaves. Their choice of restaurants was also extremely limited. They had a small cafe, a poorly run deli with very little food and coffee options, and a Panda Express. They also had a Fatburger, which looked like it had been closed for quite some time. They were severely understaffed, and the service was terrible and very unfriendly. I bought food for our entire family at the Panda Express, and it was nearly inedible and we all ended up throwing most of it away. Usually Panda Express has fresh steamed vegetables, however theirs was very sloppy and soupy, and was anything but freshly steamed. Very disappointed. Their drinks at the casino bar were $9/each and they very stingy on the alcohol. They never mentioned a mask mandate on their website, but everyone had to wear masks everywhere on the property (when the rest of the state was pretty much mask free). They had a small store with very few supplies and merchandise. We could not wait to leave and certainly will never be going back.…
When we booked this, we thought the three resorts/casino's were in close proximity, but they weren't. We didn't have transportation, so we felt stuck out in the middle of nowhere. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Had a cafe with good meals, and good service, however, the only other places to eat were fat burger, deli and panda express. The people at fat burger were not friendly and we were inconveniencing them to take our order for crappy burgers. The state of Arizona is lenient on masks, however, this casino was over the top for making you were one! They would chase you down! I won't stay here again.
While (husband & Wife) on our way back from Texas we stopped in for the night. Everything about this resort and casino was in my opinion Five Star!, from the time we checked in (without reservation) we were graciously accommodated with a poolside view room, room rates were excellent, had dinner in Cafe, then gambled and won on Roulette, does not get any better, but wait! the room was amazing!!!! Food and drinks great price! We are planning our next trip so we can stay longer at Gila River!
We originally visited to have breakfast at the Full House cafe. Our breakfast was excellent and the service (although) they were shorthanded was excellent and very friendly. We did not stay at the hotel but we did gamble some. We enjoyed the very good selection of slots and the friendliness of all the staff. When we came back to the cafe two days later, the waitstaff and hostess recognized us from the previous visit and made us feel very welcome again. We had another very good breakfast with tremendous service. We will put this on as one of our reqular stops when we visit the Phoenix area.
Stayed in a single King room after the Cardinals game. Woke up to get ready and the showers for moderated so that it's not even lukewarm water you can't turn it up any higher. When asked about it all they can say is maybe we can send housekeeping. We found someone's phone in a chair and the bathroom still left a little bit to be desired. But casino itself was meh at best. If you have to stay at one of their properties stay at wild horse will not recommend this one.
Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Room was comfortable and we had our own poolside patio attached to our room. Loved it. The only drawback was the limited menu (due to covid) in the cafe. The casino was a nice size with plenty of newer slots. Very entertaining.
Kinda picked this place at random just to stay for a night to see AZ friends while I was in town. Turns out it was a little further out from Phoenix than I had realized, but not too bad. The room was surprisingly modern and very comfortable. Great, large bathroom and shower. Comfortable bed... places to plug in... The Casino was great too. Clean, fun... good selection of games. Nice bars and restaurants, or just some Panda Express if you wanna keep it on the cheap. Very much enjoyed my stay!
My wife and I visited Vee Quiva Casino. The casino is easily reached off of the 202 Highway. Valet parking is easy and convenient. The casino is bright with high ceilings. As a result, t doe sent get as smokey as some of the others in the area. They have a lot of newer slot machines that are fun to play. The Full House cafe has decent, comfort food at reasonable prices.
We have made numerous trips from Wisconsin and our go-to hotel is always the VeeQuiva near Laveen ( Phoenix area). They have redone the floors in the rooms and it looks great. The absolute best showers we have ever seen are there, too. Friendliness, cleanliness, peacefulness, and safety make us consistently share our secret of this beautiful area. The casino which is connected by a hallway is fun and has 5 restaurants. There's a swimming pool, as well as exercise room. We give this hotel a thumbs up in all areas!
