We stayed here one night. Frankly, I feel that the way the rooms are sold on the Hilton website is deceiving. You pay a premium thinking you’re getting a view... a view of a parking lot. Rooms themselves are dated, with aging furniture that’s seen better days, and a weird bifurcated bathroom. Add in an obnoxious resort fee, and you may feel disappointed. Room itself, suites room: small relatively dirty balcony; small (very small) bathroom, with a toilet and old tub in one room, and wash basin in another room across the hall; bedroom had a postage stamp sized LCD TV and a bed sub-standard for a Hilton; and the living area has a pull out couch and chair... both aging and relatively uncomfortable, and the TV size was slightly better, but not acceptable for properly price. Falls pool area is OK. Enjoyed an afternoon in the sun. Decent pool bar with comparably good prices. As a Hilton Diamond I felt like I didn’t receive much benefit of recognition as a “valued customer,” given the resort fee wipes away many benefits... the breakfast benefit was a joke and we went elsewhere. If you have an oversized vehicle: parking a driving the streets around the resort can be a challenge. Would I return? Probably not.

Hotel's Favorite
The resort is built into the side of a mountain, hence the name Tapatio Cliffs! It’s so pretty and interesting! All employees we came in contact with were so friendly, helpful and professional! The pool areas are very nice, The Falls has a fun water slide that my kids loved! There was plenty of space to spread out from other families during COVID. This resort took pandemic precautions seriously without limiting our vacation experience! The rooms are definitely older and not luxurious, but still very clean and nice. Our family of 6 stayed comfortably in a poolside suite. The driveways and parking lots have steep slopes, which I thought was cool, but if you’re someone with mobility issues it could be difficult. They responded quickly and kindly to our requests for extra towels and shampoo. The server at the pool was so sweet, and the food we ordered to our pool chairs came out hot and tasted good! (That’s not always the case at other resorts so I thought I’d add that to my review) Overall, it was a wonderful place! It feels a bit secluded from hustle and bustle, however it’s not very far from anything! You can even take an underground tunnel across the street to hike the North Mountain area, and Lookout Mountain golf is within walking distance too, my guys loved golfing there!

The hotel is on a beautiful piece of property north of Phoenix. Restaurants are nearby and plentiful and you can walk to the hotel golf course. The pools are in need of updating but generally great for families. It offers a resort like feel for hotel prices. The rooms are dated and in need of a refresh on furniture, kind of like an Embassy Suites, not quite up to full "Hilton Quality". I'd stay again with my family but know what you are paying for is the resort itself and not the rooms.

Spent a long weekend with my boyfriend at Tapatio Cliffs. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. We stayed in the "adults only" poolside of the hotel where it was quiet, the pool/hot tub were great and the access to the bar (and grad and go breakfast in the am) was very convenient. This is a great location for those looking to golf & relax, with plenty of dining on site or nearby and hiking trails across the street. Overall, good value for what you are paying for.

Nice place, solid 3.5 star type of hotel. It is showing some age but we really had a good time and the location adjacent to the hiking trails was a nice plus. Pool area was fun, but could use some maintenance. Top of the Pointe was great. Much of the hotel was closed to do covd, and we got a room in the main building which was smaller than expected with low ceilings compared to what we booked. The "to-go" breakfast being in the Mexican restaurant was too crowded, just open the restaurant. With friends in the area I would stay again. I was not "wowed" but it was good. Service wasn't that great-- I asked for a couple wine glasses to be brought to my room, and they just said "no and we don't have any". Rooms remind me of Embassy Suites to set your expectations.

TropicalTraveler78, I'm disappointed to hear you were less than satisfied with our service and we did not meet your expectations. We have had to adjust our amenities around COVID restrictions, but I thank you for your feedback so we may discuss it with the appropriate staff members. I hope you will give us a second chance for a future visit.
