A 50 Dollar incidental fee is excessive. I was charged this fee unexpectedly when I checked into my room. I feel it is excessive what are the details of this charge? Are all out of state guests charged this fee?

Good morning, we do have a $50 per night incidental hold that we place on your credit or debit card at check in, such as every hotel does, whether you stay at a boutique hotel or a chain hotel (like a Marriott or Hilton) . We place this hold on every single one of our reservations and it released on our end after check out. I hope this cleared things up for you, have a great weekend!

Best hotel. They're doing their best with covid. Including the CUTEST puppy at the front desk! Ms Sadie ❤️ Love that this company allows a worker to bring their dog! Absolutely amazing! The front desk staff were helpful with every request we had.

I generally never leave reviews, however, this (3days) was an experience in which today's age I'm more concerned of COVID vs being Brown. Especially as an out of state single Dad, during this time, I travel to pick up my daughter from NY/CO for 12 yrs. I, light skin Spanish male with Tattoos, and on my 3rd day here, since then I've had 2 dogs(Golden & Shepard) 'casually' appear an be 'friendly' while with my 15 yr old daughter and her 13 yr old friend knowing the intent being that they see 'me', and judging a book... However, I am highly educated and have experienced casual racism being a NY'er and being able to let thing go. This is nothing one can do for a state or city, but an organization(ie. Hotel) help create change, and make everyone feel comfortable. Furthermore, the current cheap prices is because they are under renovation. You are better in a Air B&B and have a better experience. However, if you are not 'like' me you'd probably enjoy it. Thank you, and cheers! USMC, 2002 - 2007 (We aren't ones to complain...)

Good morning, thank you for your feedback. As a Latina (Mexican American) woman who has worked for this establishment for over 2 years now, I can assure you that we are not racist in any way, shape, or form. I watched the incident that you mentioned in this review on our Nest Cameras, and I can assure you that the German Shepherd was just sniffing you to be friendly, seeing as you and the young ladies who were with you had petted her earlier that same day. Once again, I can personally reassure you that she did not sniff you in a racist manner. Lastly, we are currently undergoing renovations in our restaurant and lobby area, but the restaurant itself is still open for take out breakfast for our guests. This is all we can offer right now due to the COVID19 restrictions that we are currently facing. I do hope this cleared things up on our end. Have a great afternoon.

I had the time of my life at this hotel, the staff here are absolutely amazing, and their pet friendly policy is one of the best in the industry. The hotel itself can keep you occupied if you don't want to venture out, alot of amenities, pool, jacuzzi, and roof top area to watch the sun go down, are bake in the afternoon sun. Justin Fanelli help straighten the mistake I made on the reservation online and it wasn't a big deal like it is in most places, he's a very kind and caring person, and you can tell his job is making the guest happy. Jodi Turner, was wonderful as she felt like family, and I appreciate her caring for my dog when he escaped from the hotel room. Jodi was great at making sure my stay was a happy one. The security dog and my dog became great friends, and the docile nature of Sadie and her ability to be so kind to guest makes the atmosphere so welcoming, she is by far the greatest security dog. This hotel doesn't feel ordinary at all, its very eccentric and eclectic which is what I like, very modern bringing in ques from the original structure, I was here during the pandemic and most hotels were closed, and I'm glad this one was open, the stay was tremendous.

Nice enough lodging located close to The Rhythm Room. So while jetting into town to see Big Sandy and His Flu-Rite Boys, we decided to spend the evening here. Retro funky lodging which seems a bit tired and a bit too quirky but it was friendly enough and nice enough to serve the purpose. However, when considering the room rates, the overall ranking can only max out at 2.5. We were generous and rounded up to 3 stars. By the way, check out the infamous history involving the unexpected car bomb death of an Indianapolis reporter ... investigating the mob is hazardous to one’s health!
