Great hotel! We came in the middle of the summer, so of course it was hot. The room had its own air conditioner and it worked great. The room was spacious, clean, and updated. The hotel staff was friendly and knowledgeable; at check-in they give you a paper packet with hotel info and surrounding area info (shopping, dining, etc). Pool... More

This hotel was a disappointment. It was not a spa, rather, it offered massages on request. The pool was dirty--cloudy with suntan lotion--and crowded. The room was just about windowless and did not overlook the pool (maybe a blessing in disguise) even though that was the room requested and the rate paid for. The place is basically a 60's motel... Stayed at the Clarendon on a Saturday night with a large group of people. The staff was excellent with such a large group. The rooms are spacious, with a sitting room off the bedroom in the junior suites. All rooms form a square around a pool centered in the middle. Even though the pool was busy the sounds did not... We had a 'special' weekend that had been planned for months; really looked forward to it. But then who wouldn't look forward to a Paranormal Retro Workshop? We had our own dining/meeting room where we had a very good meal of tacos, beans and rice. Other green stuff that appeared to be salad, something I try to avoid, but everyone... More

We recently booked an event at the Clarendon Hotel with 22 rooms and had a great time. It was easy check in and check out for the guests---staff went an extra mile to make sure everyone was comfortable---and every need was met! Where else can you go where FREE snacks are available at the front desk! The pool is an... More

Our family stayed for 4 nights at the Clarendon on our recent trip to Phoenix. This is definitely a unique hotel. The staff was very friendly at check in, and when we had any questions. The breakfast vouchers came in handy, and we enjoyed the breakfast daily. Wish we had more time to enjoy the pool. The kids loved the... More

Based on the stellar reviews I expected better. From the moment I walked in, it appeared to be a busy time and the hotel understaffed .... yes, the hotel is funky and unique and in a good location with a good pool. I arrived around 2p and there was a line of 4-5 people waiting. The woman at Front Desk... More

Me and my friends had an amazing time at Clarendon! Definitely recommend! We came early as we flew from New York and D.C. The check in at 3pm but we were told we can hang out at the pool that we loved a lot. Staff is super friendly and excellent service. Thank you

We visited The Clarendon during the dead of summer. Despite the scorching weather, we had a lovely stay. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. They have excellent customer service, everyone was very friendly and helpful. The resort fee include breakfast vouchers and the breakfast was pretty good. They are pet friendly and don't charge an extra fee.

My friend and I took a completely spontaneous road trip to Phoenix in the middle of July and wound up at this place. I LOVED the pool scene - there's good music, poolside bar service, plenty of lounging areas with shade, and a cute aesthetic. My friend and I kept saying we felt like we were in a mini-Vegas. The...
