Hotel is outdated, old, pool lounge area is old and need upgrade, elevator smells like it is a 100 years old, AC in room is the same, did not had a controler, tv didnt work, lighting didnt work in the room, not the best cleaning, somebody left a pack of cigarettes in the room for us, desk in room disnt even had a chair... Staff is friendly and the only two things i tried at the restaurant were acceptable... other than that NOT a 4 star hotel.. adding my expedia review for more details

Ligia, thank you for your feedback. Did you reach out to the Front Desk about a room move? A call or Whistle message to the Desk could have resulted in a quick room move to a better room where you felt more comfortable. We are currently in the middle of renovations and upgrades across our property, we appreciate your feedback and patience, and we hope you give us another chance in the future.

The hotel is in NO way a 4 star hotel. There is no bellboy, minibar, room service, concierge, doorman, valet parking, bar, -In room seating (beside just the bed), Robes / Slippers ETC and our room was unsatisfactory. the view out the only window (a view of split cinder block), the exposed cords, and ill-placed art. of all rooms to put someone in when you are not near capacity. In addition, upon arrival our room was unlocked and open and the tv on. very odd and a little scary.

Dirtyboulevard, thank you for your review. We currently do not have any of these services available due to Covid. As a property, we are slowly starting to open up and we will soon offer all of these amenities again. Did you message or speak to the Front Desk about a room move? We could have moved you to a room where you felt more comfortable. we appreciate your feedback and we hope you give us another chance in a future!

Love this hotel and seeing it evolve over the years. We have been enjoying this place for the past 5 years. Love the restaurant and the rooftop deck that was added. Can’t wait to go back with my wife for some fun in the sun this summer!

I have been lucky enough to stay at the Clarendon twice and have been to many daytime events here as well. This is literally my favorite place to be. Everything you could want under one roof. I’ve always adored the layout, it feels like you’re transported to another time. The rooms are beautiful and have always been clean, stocked and up to date upon check-in. The pool is sparkling and cool and the hot tub is huge and also super nice every time I’ve visited. A definite must if you’re anywhere near and get the opportunity.

The folks within the Clarendon Hotel are genuinely kind and really seem to care. They don't walk around with frowns or looking stressed out, any employee I've encountered, always has a smile on their faces and be eager to assist!! To me that means management is doing a prime job ( along with other factors)!! Great place to unwind, eat, even lay by the pool, and last but least their AMAZING events ;)
