Made a reservation as we were in town to see Eric Clapton at Talking Stick arena. When we checked in we were told our room was upgraded to a suite from our standard king. We thanked the front desk and went to the room, 435. The room is a corner room right above the pool. They play music so loud it is impossible to sleep. It is now 11:30pm and the music is as loud as this afternoon. I called the front desk and was informed the music stops at midnight. Why do they even bother renting this room? Unless you plan to party all night. And why weren't we told about this when we were given this "upgrade"? This is BS. We will never stay or recommend this place again. Big red flag. Stay away. Much nicer places in Phoenix.

Right across the street from Talking Stick Arena, pool was lovely, nice rooftop bar with live entertainment. Valets Tom and Jordan were very gracious and welcoming, front desk staff were expeditious and very polite, Rooftop bar staff were delightful, thank you Michael, you were great!! Sunsets were gorgeous spent out by the pool enjoying a beverage... def get a westward facing room on a high floor.

My wife and I took the opportunity to stay at the Kimpton Palomar which is right down the street from Chase Field. First, we were welcomed by a very friendly front desk personnel who couldn't seem to do enough for us. She was absolutely wonderful and followed up with a text later that evening to see how things were going. The accommodations were beyond expectation, the bar was off the hook. Didn't eat there but I can only imagine just how great the food would be. Stay here. Worth the money for sure.

Hi tazz0pardi, "Off the Hook" is exactly what we are shooting for when our guest leaves the Palomar Phoenix. Thank you for the awesome review, and giving us a chance to welcome you for the baseball game. There is certainly no better location. I loved reading about your experience with our front desk team, and we will be sure to pass along your comments to them. We know the people make the difference, and I am glad you felt that during your stay! We hope to welcome you back before the season ends! Thank you, Nathan Assistant General Manager

Had a great time in Phoenix and stayed at the Kimpton Hotel Palomar Phoenix a week ago. The staff were super friendly (not annoyingly friendly- legitimately friendly) and very helpful with not only the services they provide at the hotel, but also local attractions and things to do. They also provided my son with a wheelchair (hurt foot) to go to the Orioles/DBacks game free of charge (stadium and people there were awesome too!!). The hotel is kept very nice and clean. The pool area was very nice as well with beautiful views of the mountains, the stadium and parts of the city. It's located in an area that has plenty of things to do nearby (but for some reason most close pretty early). The restaurant was nice and the bar was nice' just a little on the expensive side. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely go back if I ever go back to Phoenix. On another note, you have to go eat at the Daily Grind for breakfast! Very good. Also, go to Mother Bunch Brewery---yummy beers and surprisingly very good food!!

Hi Louis A, Thank you for the excellent review. We hope your son is doing much better. We would not want anyone to miss an event that they came to our hotel for, so you can borrow our wheelchair anytime! In reading your review it looks like you were able to enjoy many amenities that the property offers. The location is central to anywhere you need to go during your visit, and the pool offers some stellar views with great cocktail and food options. We take great pride in providing the highest levels of cleanliness throughout our building! We hope to welcome you back in the future for another game, or even just a little getaway back to Phoenix! Thank you, Nathan Assistant General Manager

We choose this hotel because of it location and how close it was to Comerica Theatre and not only was it within walking distance (only a couple of blocks) but its over all location was fantastic. I will start off with it location which we were pleasantly surprised about. Once we parked the car we never needed it again during the entire weekend. Just across the street (pedestrian bridge or a half block up there is a cross walk) is a plaza (has a name but I can't remember it) that has a few restaurants, pubs, comedy club, bowling alley, coffee shop and other shops that all have pretty much everything we needed for the weekend. The plaza had a grassy area and fountains for children to play in and was set up similar to an outdoor mall would be. Also, within a few blocks there are several other places to eat and drink if you wanted. The hotel itself ended up being so much more than we expected. The staff was great (and we really mean that) - we didn't come across one staff member that wasn't pleasant, helpful and overly accommodating. When we arrived on Friday the valet staff were so helpful, they quickly came to help us with our bags and even though we told them we could get them all ourselves they insisted and said that it was what they were there for. A young gentleman named Tom (Tommy) greeted us and said that he would love to help us up to our room with our bags. He chatted with us as we headed to our room and gave us the impression that he loved what he did. Tommy also helped us when we left a few days later and proceeded to ask us how our weekend went and how our stay at the hotel was. He was all smiles and we felt that even though we could tell that he was really busy, we were his top priority. The room we booked was a corner suite that was amazing. The view of the city was fantastic and the bathroom was beautiful and the added touch of a loofah and bath salts didn't go unnoticed! During our stay we spend a better part of both Saturday and Sunday by the pool that was located on the rooftop of the 3rd floor. On Saturday we met Kaylee a pool side server who was super attentive and friendly to us both days. We never had to wait and she remembered what we liked to drink and was ready with whatever we wanted or needed. Some of the highlights of the hotel were: The staff Our room (and bathroom!) DJ by the pool on Saturday Live band by the pool on Sunday Very Dog Friendly Hotel Happy hour with free wine and beer both evenings And Location We loved staying here and will no doubt be back!

Hey acook717, AMAZING! Thank you for this incredible review. Everything you speak to is what we try to provide in our guest experience. One that highlights the personal touch from our team members (Tom and Kaylee), accessibility from our location, and the room product itself. We know there are other selections in Downtown Phoenix, but we also know we have the best team, and they truly care about your experience with us! We will pass along all of the awesome comments to our people, and ensure they feel the love that you felt during your stay! I look forward to the next concert so we can welcome you back to the Palomar Phoenix! Thank you, Nathan Assistant General Manager
