5-star hotel with all the amenities. The biggest pillows I've ever tried to sleep on however. Take advantage of the continental breakfast which has everything you really need to eat. Get up early enough to enjoy the outdoor seating. Really relaxing. Great service.

Great service from Marriott Staff in all areas of the Hotel! Housekeeping was fantastic by IRMA who was so attentive and helpful! AUTUMN at Twenty6 restaurant out on the covered connecting porch was bubbly and great attitude despite the demanding crowd she was hit with and a great place to grab a bite. MICHELE, JOSE, ALFREDO, and MARIA were wonderful servers and attendants in the at our corporate events and did their best to deal with the enormous crowd at the outside dining patio and in the ballroom. The hotel has a great spa that feels like an oasis in the desert hotel where I had a luxurious manicure and pedicure for 100 minutes by SPIDER CLOUD who delivered excellent service and my nails looked amazing!!! I watched an entire hotel staff work the best from gift shops, front desk, bell men, to room attendants to maintenance crews. The hotel grounds are immaculate and I hope we are able to come again. Thank you Marriott for a wonderful stay! :)

I wish there was a way to share the sound from this room. I got upgraded to a luxury suite which is beautiful but for the second night there are conference parties right outside my window/balcony and the sound is atrocious. Don’t plan on going to bed before 11 or bring earplugs.

While our memorial weekend hotel stay was nice I will never stay again and here’s why…after check out noticed my credit card had been wracked up with all kinds of charges (almost $2,000 worth) from this hotel on top of the actual charges for my two night stay. I immediately called and was told “Oh we over charge your card to make sure there are enough funds for your stay, they will drop off.” First off, isn’t almost $2,000.00 a bit much to put on my card to ensure $870 will go through??? So I kept on top of this to make sure they did and all did except for one charge of $323.07. I once again call back and after long waits and hold times I’m told “sorry we can’t find where we charged you that, call you credit card company and find out what that charge is about.” How is my credit card company going to know why you charged me some random amount???? So now I have to fight this charge and the hotel just washes their hands of it! Be real careful giving this hotel your credit card number!!!!

This was our first stay at a JW Marriott for the long holiday weekend. Although we ran in numerous issues while staying at the hotel, this is not the purpose of this review. I wanted to write this review to recognize the OUSTANDING customer service of Brandy, Kyra and Laura who went above and beyond to ensure that we were taken care of for each issue that came up. They were professional, courteous and friendly in dealing with these issues. Most importantly, I hope the JW Marriott recognizes them for their exemplary work. Brandy, Kyra and Laura thank you again for everything you did! Customer service - 10 out of 10.

Beautiful Resort - we have been many times. The spa and food and staff are wonderful. One pretty big concern - they now sell pool passes to the general public on weekends. Saturday brought a completely transformed experience. It was PACKED - very few lounge chairs and the pools were really crowded. Cheesy bag searches at the gate to make sure no one brings outside food and drink. A visible number of pros trolling for business at the pool bar. Staff members getting verbally abused. If you are looking to relax, I would no longer visit on Saturday or Sunday - this place it too expensive to relive Caddy Shack on vacation.

We'd stayed at this Marriott a couple of years ago and wanted to go back again for a long weekend. It was too hot to golf so we didn't bring our clubs this trip but still had a wonderful time. The resort is well kept, staff is professional and friendly. Definitely will be back.

We stayed here for three nights. This resort is beautiful and huge. The grounds are very attractively landscaped and well-maintained. So many pools to choose from! We enjoyed the lazy river and the driving range. I noticed that there are lots of great-tailed grackles who seem to enjoy the pool area too. Ambiance at night was very cozy and inviting, especially with all the outdoor seating and fire pits. The botanical garden (near the Starbucks) is charming and peaceful with several inviting, cozy seating areas to relax and watch the gila woodpeckers, rabbits, lizards, and gambel’s quails. Room was clean and modern. We had a lovely view of the pools, grassy lawn, and the distant McDowell Mountains. Service was good, and all the staff members we encountered were courteous. We had dessert every night there. The skillet cookie (warm chocolate chip cookie with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream) was so delicious, we ordered it two nights in a row! Location is very close and convenient to the Desert Ridge Marketplace.

Stayed here for 3 nights for a conference. The hotel really caters to conferences. Not sure I would ever want to vacation here with so many people walking around in badges. Sort of would ruin the vacation vibe. I’m also nearly 2 weeks since check out and can’t get my Marriott Bonvoy points or elite night credits despite calling and calling. I keep being told it’s “coming” but doesn’t happen. The reservation never linked to my Bonvoy # (they claim) despite getting upgraded at check in for Titanium status and it being on my folio. It’s frustrating and it’s like the hotel doesn’t submit it. The rooms are excellent, I received a suite that was newly renovated with huge bathroom and comfy bed. It was also very quiet. There is a Starbucks on site which is convenient. Front desk staff was friendly and housekeeping came early no matter how early a window they were given. Very on top of things. Dinner at Roy’s was very good. Gym is enormous with tons of equipment but it was very crowded and they would serve it better to remove some of the bigger weight pieces that no one really uses. That would create more weight space and just overall walking space in the gym.

The good part, the front desk checkin person was really kind & cheery.. The locker room hostess was terrific as well. The locker room is TIRED, scuffed up walls, outdated colors and worn carpet. Yikes! Especially with your prices you have to update soon, if the budget is not there start by cleaning the carpet and painting the walls, the hallways to the therapy rooms are scuffed and tired looking. That’s is called upkeep. The towels are thin. Like sad and worn and small. The pool side towels that are striped-are worn, faded, and rough to the skin. Both sets belong in an old Holiday Inn. And that’s just a fact. The food and beverages were great, we had chips/salsa and a beverage each. The server was great. Our massages, we paid a small fortune for were 80 minutes and deep tissue. Both of us had only fair massages. SOO much oil, very little therapy in the technique. The therapists seemed new for both of us. Like we walked away shocked at how “not great” it was. We will try again once we get news there’s been a renovation there. Hopefully better luck next time!
