I like this place. Decent location near the airport. Large open space in the courtyard makes for a quiet stay at the back end of the hotel. Gates with card access all around the perimeter make for a quick walk to your room. Large suites make week long stays comfortable. The Belvedere restaurant and bar offer good food and beer....

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Room carpet needed cleaning and upholstery and windows needed to be cleaned. It was convenient to the airport and easy to navigate from with a rental car.

I've stayed in quite a few Hiltons in the Tempe/Phoenix area, the staff at this one are outstanding. I needed a sewing kit and the front desk not only offered me 2 of them but also offered safety pins "just in case," I love the roominess of the suite, makes me feel less confined. While a few updates could be...

Awkward layout for hotel. Clean rooms, but they feel dated. Overall an average Doubletree. One plus is breakfast is included for all. Also Internet speeds are above average Hilton properties. Has HHonors floor, but does not appear to place members on those floors (or at least not this Diamond). Hotel is not at capacity.

My family and I go to Phoenix about two or three times a year to catch a performance at Symphony Hall. We first discovered the Doubletree Suites several years ago when we were looking for a nice and reasonable hotel in Phoenix’s downtown area. The Doubletree Suites are very reasonable in cost and about five miles from the Symphony Hall....

Thank you RC_Kola for your fantastic review. I appreciate your loyalty to our hotel whenever you make the trek from Tucson. Yes, the light rail is convenient to reach downtown Phoenix or, if you prefer, downtown Tempe and Mill Avenue. We look forward to your next visit.

This was probably one of the, if not THE, best hotel experience I've ever had. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. It was conveniently located to where I needed to be, it was very clean and comfortably furnished, the hotel staff was very friendly and professional, and, although I did not do a great deal of walking around,...

We were there for the Fiesta Bowl at the end of 2014 and wanted to be near central Phoenix for convenience and seeing friends. We enjoyed the room, the bar/restaurant, and common space, even though the uncharacteristically chilly weather made the pool and hot tub less than appealing though it didn't stop others. Rooms were clean, quiet and spacious.

The breakfast was delicious and healthy - lots of protein and fresh fruit. Thank you for providing more than just sweet rolls. The beds are comfortable and I appreciated paying less for a king size since I was alone.

old and dirty hotel, max 2 stars! needs renovation and better cleaning! had ugly chocolate stripes on curtains, the wallpaper coming off, dirty signs on table and cracks on the bath ceiling... suites are big and breakfast outstanding!

I apologize that the condition of your suite was not up to our normal high standards. We routinely deep clean and maintain our suites to insure top level conditions. I am happy that our breakfast "wowed you". Please try us gain soon and I am confident that your suite will exceed your expectations.

Chose this hotel for it's location for a wedding we were attending. The most delicious cookie ever was presented upon arrival! Room was large, a suite really, with coffee maker and fridge. We didn't use the pool, but others did, so it must have been warm. The free breakfast was great and appreciated. Not the fanciest place in town, but...
