Our stay at the Camby embodied the true definition of a luxury experience. From the first call we made to the property, it was clear we were dealing with true professionalism and care. Ryan Kelly was an incredible ambassador in making sure our stay and special requests were attended too both efficiently and effectively. Leanna and Brianna were quick to make the entire stay memorable and accommodate some unforeseen bumps in the road during our stay. The In Room Dining staff were quick and attentive and the food was divine. Can't emphasize enough how much I was impressed with this property, especially given my background in luxury hospitality. 100/10 every step of the way.
If you r in Phoenix and want to stay at a nice hotel , i recommend The Camby. The staff at the front desk as well as their restaurant /bar and the valets are so welcoming and friendly. A shout out to Casey . She makes a great cup of Starbucks and she is so refreshing to see in the morning ….They give you two coupons for welcome drinks , a nice touch … the hotel has a great theme and the rooms are very nice ..we will be repeat guests when we r in Phoenix …
Michelle and Jasper were nothing short of wonderful. They were extremely accommodating, the space was wonderfully decorated, the staff was gracious and kind, and there was nothing they wouldn't do to assist and make our event perfect. I so appreciate all of their help, and look forward to our next event in the future.
I stayed at this wonderful gem of a hotel for a business meeting but will definitely return for a pleasure trip! Form the moment I pulled up to the valet I felt so taken care of. The staff are wonderful from the valet/bellman to the reception folks and all of the service staff. Room was comfortable and clean and well appointed. There was even a fun cow lamp on the wall. Food was great, which is really nice when it is part of a large meeting and buffets. We had some of our meals by the pool which was so nice! The hotel was so convenient and accommodating for our meeting, but I'll look forward to returning for a personal trip soon!
I travel to scottdale/phoenix frequently and always stay at the Camby. It's a big hotel with a "small hotel" sense of service, welcome and friendliness to the guest. All the staff do their utmost to make each guest feel welcome and comfortable. Clean , quiet rooms!! and a location that puts you within easy reach of anything in the Valley of the Sun. Couldn't recommend a better place to stay.
The room was big, cozy, and clean. Breakfast at the Aritzi was delicious. The location is perfect. It was a terrific stay though because of the staff … every single person we interacted with, starting with the valet guys, was fantastic!
Great location in Phoenix. This used to be a Ritz Carleton so many of the original features are nice. The Camby has a funky vibe, may not be for everyone (cows head that lights up in the bedroom). It had the things I seek in a hotel, good bedroom, water pressure in shower and fast elevator. The restaurant struggled, very few employees dealing with huge crowds.
I am a Marriott Ambassador Elite - Having stayed in a large number of properties, across the US, The Camby sets itself apart as a destination in Phoenix. Thoughtfully designed, super comfortable beds, and delicious food from Artizen, made my stay one to remember. However, what ensure that I will be visiting again, is The Camby's staff commitment to hospitality and customer satisfaction; a memorable experience that I will not forget. Thank you!
Last weekend I hosted an event at The Camby. Michelle was my main coordinator and she was extremely helpful. Our event was hosted in the Koko Boardroom and was a very comfortable room, IT was very useful to us since we needed to share the computer screen to the TV. The food was also amazing. Order whichever package that comes with juices in the afternoon snacks. Really was a great experience for event.
We stayed there 5 nights and when we first walked in it was so unlike any of the other resorts/hotels we’ve stayed in the valley. It sort of reminded me of Vegas. The interesting artwork is everywhere. We walked around every part of the hotel to see the different artwork. As we checked in the lady at the front desk seemed rather confused and was having difficulty checking us in. We checked in our room and had no Wi-Fi we called and informed them of the problem and they referred us to the IT department who tried for at least two hours trying to get it to work only to inform us it was the room we were in but it was everywhere we went in the hotel that had terrible Wi-Fi. This is a hotel that is primarily geared towards company meetings and businesses. They are short on staff because it took us going to try and find someone to help us. Some of the food is delicious. Their wings are so different and tasty but their nachos are not worth trying. The rest of our meals were good and we had a breakfast, lunch and dinner during our stay. I felt bad for the staff yet we saw the manager not even helping them. Housekeeping was kind enough to take our tip but we did need to call to get towels and toilet paper. The pool area is located on the second floor along with the fitness center. The fitness center had the basic necessities. Since the hotel is located on a busy corner you can hear the traffic and construction going on so it’s not relaxing. It’s a nice area and it does the job in the heat. I gave it a low score because of the Wi-Fi issue and no one really willing to help including the manager. We ran on data the entire visit. Some of the staff have an attitude as if we should be happy to be there. They did not have certain beers that were on their menu for the first three days of our trip. I’m sure it’s great for a night for a business trip but not for any length of time. Also, the elevators were always dirty and the sanitizer machines were empty.…
