I paid for week. They will not clean your room. I asked the cleaning lady to vacuum while I was out for the day. And the desk lady Kathy was very rude, and said no you don't talk to her you talk to me. I said I am sorry I did not know. I was looking for someone to vacuum. She said we don't vacuum, I can give you a broom and dust pan and you do it yourself. I paid 4 hundred and some dollars to sweep my own room with a broom. Terrible service!

Victoria, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. We apologize for the inconvenience you had due to our housekeeping policy and the impudent attitude of our front desk associate. Kindly note, being an extended stay hotel, we clean room weekly to maintain the privacy of our guests, but this service is always available on request for a minimal fee. We have also discussed your feedback with our associates to remind to our primary goal is to provide outstanding customer care to our guests. Please consider giving us another opportunity the next time your travels bring you this way. Sincerely, Hotel Management

I came there seeking a place to stay for some time. Tired and want to check in quickly I called and booked in advance. That never happened, came in around 1pm, checking in was 3pm. Could not check in early, no space, cash could not be paid, credit card only. Ended up checking in after 5pm with the aid of a diligent employee. The gentleman for my entire stay was helpful and courteous. He solved problems and was willing to help. Very professional and even took time to seek help if he came across anything he was unsure about. The registration by phone is frustrating. No one seems to be answering to help anyone. For over one hour I have been trying to get through to organize my room and it was tiring, frustrating and annoying because of one of the worst automated menses I have come across. Long, not helpful, repeated. The diligent gentleman helped me organize everything for my stay. He wasn’t above and beyond. Everyone I saw him interact with was done with great professionalism, willingness and respect. Excellent. Well done. Sir. Surroundings generally clean. Room clean. Utensils clean and useful. I will stay here again mainly because of the gentleman with great customer service and it was comfortable and clean room with great location.

We found this property while searching for close proximity to ballpark for my sons baseball tournament and budget friendly rooms - what made us book was the " Extended Stay America" as many corporate clients will use for business in other locations and the small kitchenettes are usually great for traveling families. This did not come anywhere close to the standard of extended stay locations we have experienced. This property felt more like a transitional housing shelter. Dark, mediocre cleanliness, circles of smokers right outside in front entrance, lots of noise all night with many people coming and going - our check in experience felt like going through security - NOT a welcoming guest experience. When asked if courtesy late checkout was offered I was pointed to the laminated sign on the counter that charged by the hour and promptly told no. If you're looking for an hourly place to crash and Bare basics with a cup of (gross) coffee and dry packet of plain oatmeal with no spoons available for your " coffee bar" than stay here. Otherwise, plenty of Peoria budget friendly options in same price range that are cleaner , completely family and guest friendly. The most positive experience here was the check out clerk who should 1) be promoted or 2) look for another job where she can shine her skills as she had excellent customer service to quickly hear my concern and refund our prepaid second night allowing us to check out and locate a much cleaner and family friendly hotel. She affirmed for me that the majority of their rooms were booked by longer term weekly renters.

I stayed at the Extended Stay American on W Bell Rd. for over a month and I can tell you I am THRILLED to be out of that place. It wasn't the dog poop at the front door, the loud rap music all day or the 5am car horns that made me hate the experience. It wasn't even the weekly battle I fought with housekeeping to get my room cleaned as planned. Not even the faulty air conditioner (which - after THREE visits, the mechanic finally replaced) did the trick. No. It was the internet. The "free" WIFI is so slow it's completely unusable. ...so, naturally, you inevitably purchase the "upgraded" WIFI (which boasts 2.5x the speed!) for $17.99 per week... only to find out that it's STILL so slow you can't watch a YouTube video without interruptions. It was awful. The room was about $55/night (thanks to my monthly rate with occasional housekeeping service (I paid for weekly service, but it was nowhere near reliable). ...so yes. It was cheap. ...but so was everything else. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The rooms were dirty. The kitchen utensils/flatware/etc. looked like something they collected from former guests. The towels were tiny. ...and the elevator took nearly 5 minutes to go from the ground floor to the 3rd floor. The only bright spot in this dismal experience was the staff. The folks at the counter worked HARD to make me as happy as possible within the confines of their discount hotel... and for that, I am giving this review an extra star. Thanks to the staff! You did your best! I am thrilled to be gone and I will not be back. I don't care what happens...

I had to sign a no smoking statement. So I went outside into the designated smoking area a couple times. Not even the staff went there. They smoked literally infront of the entrance. After my stay I was charged for smoking marijuana in the room and the management charged me triple the price. I don’t even smoke this.. If you are a smoker don’t go there. Discrimination and rip-off
