The lodge is beautiful. A nice sitting room up stairs. We had a front room and was very quiet even though the railroad tracks are behind the lodge and trains run every couple of hours. All of the employees were very delightful and courteous. The young lady at the information desk was very helpful in giving us information on the Havasupia...

We arrived in the afternoon March 20, 2017. Our room was very tidy. We had dinner in the very nice restaurant. We got our forms to fill out for the river rafting trip the following day. Our room was on the road side. While relaxing in the pool and hot tub we did hear the train and the noise did...

Stay was terrific. Rooms were newly renovated. TV and all amenities were up to date. Hotel has a generator for any power outages. Staff was very friendly. Bathrooms were clean and in great condition. Security good. Loved it..except for the noisy train!

Thanks for staying at Hualapai Lodge. We're glad to hear you had a terrific stay. We apologize for the train noise, but there isn't much that can be done about that. Hopefully you took advantage of the ear plugs at the front desk.

One night stay to tour the Grand Canyon. Room and bathroom were clean. It is true that trains go by the hotel every 15 minutes, blowing horns all throughout the night. Earplugs are available. Use them. The hotel restaurant is the only restaurant in town and closes at 9 PM. Issues in the morning, when no hot breakfast was available...

Thank you for staying at Hualapai Lodge. We apologize for the lack of hot water which as you point out was unavailable due to a problem with the propane. That was an unfortunate situation and has since been resolved. We appreciate your understanding.

The staff was nice, the hotel was adequate. There is a train that runs on the backside of the hotel all night long. Just be prepared and bring your own earplugs, or ask at the front desk (when we were there, they offered free ear plugs). The continental breakfast was good with fruits, pastries, and breads. In order to get...

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Make sure you ask for their free ear plugs because trains ran nearby all night long. Ask if they have a street-side room available. Facility was clean and well-kept.

Considering its location (in the middle of no where!) and the warnings about train noise, our expectations were low and we were pleasantly surprised at the efforts of the locals to run a clean, well maintained facility, other than poor wifi reception in the room. I give it 5 stars for both overall effort and for location as it was...

I'd give it * outright and it's ** just because my granny liked the the interior. 1. The hotel manager lied to us that their website informs about the train nose - no such thing 2. One receptionist (a nice guy Dave) allowed us to keep 1 of 2 rooms till 1PM only to have another reception lady reverse that...
