This place is decent for the money. Cabin was pretty small, but enough for the two of us. Not really much to do other than hike or look around which is what I suspect some people want. It was also a little difficult to find, even with cell phone navigation.

My fiance booked Mountain Meadows Cabins for a short weekend trip for my birthday and we had an amazing time! Before arriving my fiance had been emailing back and forth with Diana (one of the owners) who had kindly provided him a couple of recommendations for things to do in the area to make sure we had an amazing time....

We arrived at the cabin and were pleasantly surprised by the quite and serene surroundings. The cabin was clean and homey. The barbecue and fire pit were very convenient. Great for families if you rented multiple cabins. One single cabin perfect for two people and a dog. Close to lots of great hiking and sites, yet far enough away to...

The reason for the 2 Stars is not that this place is bad, it's simply that it is not a 5 Star resort. We've been to many places and this is a 2 on our scale of 1 (being a scary motel) and 5 being a Marriott resort. Cabin was clean, people were nice, and the surroundings were nice. We...

Hello, Hello! :) We understand that our quaint, cozy cabins aren't for everyone and no we're not the Marriott however, we appreciate your review in saying we and the surroundings are nice and our cabin was clean. Have a Blessed Day! :) Ken & Diana

We are from the east valley looking for a anniversary getaway to the mountains. Upon arrival to the cabins we realized we were quite a ways outside of Payson, which on itself is fine but we didn't bring any food with us thinking we'd be closer to restaurants. Anyhow we made the treck back to town and picked up a...

WOW, what can we say! My husband and I are always traveling around the country, he has a profound determination to research out and find unique places to suit our needs. Our current travels brought us from our home in Texas back and forth to Mesa and we jointly searched for that unique place. Well, for us and our little...

My girlfriend and I have been staying here off and on for the past couple of years as a retreat from the city. It's a very quick drive (under 2 hours) from Phoenix. The rooms are quaint and the entire area is very quite. We enjoy sitting on the patio taking in the cool air and watching the weather fall...

We are traveling to many places across the US, and we stopped in this lovely little shoppe. The cottage is quaint and quiet with forestry all around. We stayed only for one evening, but it was nice for us.

My wife and I love going to Payson to escape city life (and heat) and go fishing in rim country. Mountain Meadows Cabins is THE perfect place to stay. The owners are beyond friendly and helpful. The cabins are equipped with everything you need: fridge, stove, comfy bed, clean bathrooms and showers and equipped kitchens. You literally just have to...
