I have been a RCI member for 29 years. I wouldn’t let my worst enemy stay here. When walking up to the unit the steps are covered in leaves. It is evident that the area has not had any type of landscaping or basic cleaning done. Upon opening the door, the smell of mustiness is overwhelming. The carpeting is stained and not completely flat. The appliances must be from when the resort was built. There are 4 ice cube trays in the freezer (no ice dispenser). The oven and microwave are just as old. The counters are all chipped. The towels are threadbare. We will need to purchase towels to use for showers. There is an outdoor pool nearby but it is only open 5 hours a day. I wouldn’t mind using a common area for laundry if it the hours were convenient. Not open on Sunday and only 9:30-2:30 the other days. So if we do go swimming, we need to keep our chlorinated bathing suits and towels in the room all night. The master bedroom has an extremely old tv that is maybe 18 inches. The second bedroom doesn’t have a tv. Downstairs has an upgraded tv. The patio furniture is beyond filthy. This place honestly reminds me of a hotel that rents rooms hourly. If we didn’t live 20 hours away, we would have checked out.

My husband and I stayed here for Our twelve year wedding anniversary. We met Geoff first. Upon meeting Geoff he told us he was a redneck. We thought that was kind of personal. I guess it was good to know if anything went wrong. He can say he told us so I guess? Anywho the next morning we met his wife Sandi, she seemed alright. By the evening,Geoff was asking us the same questions over and over, like we were under interrogation. That was erky and weird. What was really funny was neither one of them addressed My husband and I by our names the whole time. Nor did they even ask us our names. It was crazy! I never experienced nothing like this in my entire life! By the second morning, both Sandi and Geoff were both stand offish. After breakfast we had enough, we decided to leave a whole day early! It was sad. My advice to Sandi and Geoff is you are running a business. You will deal with all kinds of people from different ethnic backgrounds. Never judge a book by its cover. You must read it first. Looks like we were your first! We did not ask for Our money back for staying in the most expensive room in your house. Because, we know when you sow a seed you will reap a harvest. When you know better, you do better.

I am so sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. We really enjoyed meeting you and sharing a fun time at Happy Hour. We pride ourselves on making each stay as enjoyable for our guests as possible. We try to give our guests space to enjoy their time so that they can relax. I am sorry if that seemed stand offish. We had no idea that you were so upset. You gave us hugs upon leaving and were so excited to pick up your new puppy. We wish you well and many blessings to you and your family.

My husband and I stayed at Wolf Manor for Our 12 yr wedding anniversary. When we first got there we met Geoff his wife Sandi was not there. Well, at our first meeting he told us he was a redneck. Which I thought that was personal. Geoff basically interrogated us the whole time. Which was just early and weird at the same time. We met his wife Sandi the first morning, she seemed alright. By the next morning both Sandi and Geoff were kind of stand offish. We also stayed in the most expensive room there by the way. We had just about had enough! To top it off they never addressed is by our names, not once! Just awful. We left a whole day early. We did not ask for any of our money back! We figure we sowed a seed to reap a harvest. My advice to both Sandi and Geoff, never judge a book by its cover. You should read it first. You are running a business,so expect to deal with all kinds of ethnicities. With that being said, when you know better, you do better.
