Lynne and Gerry are the owners of the Stage Stop Inn … they have created a home away from home … minus the chores :) This is a unique clean and cozy place .The owners go beyond the call of duty to make you feel comfortable which is a big plus … they kind, fun loving and hard working people... The Stage Stop Hotel was our stop in Patagonia in March 2014, during our birding trip to that area. It is conveniently located in the small community of Patagonia. We had room #227, which has two double beds, in a ample sized room, and a balcony with views of the town. The owners Jerry and Lynn are both friendly and... More

Secondary to the simply wonderful authentic western atmosphere and accommodations was the over the top graciousness of the hosts Lynne and Gerry. They were my first impression of Patagonia and will be lasting one! I can hardly wait for the opening of their new saloon for my next stop at the Stage Stop.

This is not a luxury property by any stretch, but it is worth a visit just to speak with the owners about the history of the property; particularly if you are a John Wayne fan. The owners have made great progress in their remodeling efforts and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The property has the intimate feel of a... More

They have done a very nice job remodeling the rooms at the Stage Stop. The floors are all tile and the bathrooms have new fixtures. Our king size bed was very comfortable and there was a fridge and coffeemaker in the room. We had a large big-screen TV with a large line up of cable stations including HBO. They are... More

I am giving this 4 stars, not because it is a luxury up-scale hotel, but because of the customer service and effort that went into making my stay as comfortable as possible. Yes, this is an older building. But my room (and I imagine most if not all of them) had been modernized and had a very appealing (though simple)... More

Comfortable, clean and quirky and a decent sized room. Unfortunately I only stayed here one night and didn't even get to check out the area. I would love to come back and stay here again for a few days and have a look around. Management were very helpful and friendly, from my booking to my stay. There were a couple... More

Stayed here for two nights. The owners were very nice. Got a room upstairs which was nice because you get a window and a glass sliding door. The a/c worked well as did the fridge. The water pressure in the shower was great as was the free bottled water. There is a lot of work going on, specifically the dining... More

We stayed at this inn for two nights. First night the air conditioning was on the fritz, but after notifying our host, Jerry, he made sure the unit was changed out. What a relief! We had resigned ourselves to the notion that this was the way it was, but no, it was the a.c. unit. The hotel was built in... More

The owner (Jerry) was very nice and tried to accommodate us but they need to work out some bugs (not live crawly ones LOL). A bit overpriced for what it was but the only game in town. The room was clean and they are very pleasant but we were unable to relax much with some loud construction stuff happening they... More
