We stayed at the Duquesne House for the 4th time this year; the refurbished miner's cottages are charming, spacious and private. The gardens behind the house are spectacular and during our recent visit, we spent the entire day nestled there, reading and enjoying the sun and the birds! Rick and Bekki are very good hosts - they have accomodated our dietary requests without any hint of hesitation. They offer wonderful recommendations for hikes, driving routes, restaurants (such as Patagonia has :) ...) and make kep us posted on all the local news and events. (Rick even proved to be formidable at Strat-o-matic baseball in his first game!) When we are traveling in southern AZ, it would be impossible for us to stay away.

This is a gem. Whether you're visiting the Patagonia-Sonoita area for the Patagonia-Sonoita Creek Preserve, as we were, or to tour the wineries, this is a great place to stay. It's located in a historic structure on a quiet street. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated with lots of interesting arts and crafts and mostly hand-made, Spanish-influenced furnishings. Our bed was notably comfortable. The garden immediately behind the structure is well designed and well cared for. It's a lovely place to sit, watch birds, read, and have coffee before breakfast is served, or in the evening (or any time). The breakfasts we had the two morning we were there were delicious. The owner/hosts are delightful people -- friendly, informative, and interesting to talk to. We could not have been more pleased with this B&B.

This is a beautiful Bed and Breakfast. Beautiful gardens to sit and watch the birds. There was a backyard fire pit we enjoyed as well. The breakfasts were amazing. We would highly recommend staying here.

My husband and I visited Patagonia, AZ while on a southern Arizona road trip. We reserved 2 nights at The Duquesne House Inn & Gardens and were so delighted with our stay. The room was beautifully decorated, spacious and very comfortable. Our hosts, Becki and Rick were so warm and friendly, they felt like good friends. The family-style breakfast experience was really fun and interesting. The food was delicious and the presentation elegant. We feel like we found an Arizona gem hidden in Patagonia and look forward to our next visit!

We completely enjoyed this spot: the gardens full of birds, the fabulous breakfasts, the interesting conversations around the breakfast table, and perhaps the warmth and kindness of the hosts best of all.

Very welcoming. Lucky enough to get a reservation same day while driving through the area. Stayed in suite 2 - nicely decorated with many artistic touches. The garden behind the suite is incredible with many seating areas and hummingbirds. Highly recommend.

This is an oasis in the oasis if Patagonia, AZ. The quaint exterior belies the quality of Southwest charm that lies within. The gardens and grounds are beautiful! The couple running this place has elevated above anything else remotely available in the area!

Have stayed at Duquesne house a number of times. Consistently super clean, tastefully decorated and friendly owners. Nice changes we see are small but good upgrades to the wonderful back yard. Great place to relax, watch birds at feeders and enjoy a serene and beautiful flower garden.

We were warmly greeted by the owners the second we pulled in the parking place. We were then shown to our room and all amenities were pointed out to us. The amenities were done with obvious love and care. Screened in porch colin area offers wonderful variety of tea and coffee. In the morning, fresh brewed coffee is offered starting at 0700 and an amazing breakfast at 0830. Gardens are amazing and the neighbor cat shows up for petting. Truly an amazing place to visit.
