Hermosa Inn did not disappoint. My husband and I had a delightful visit to Paradise Valley. Not only was the staff accommodating of our needs, but the property is so beautiful that we did not want to leave. Our room was comfortable and well decorated and I'd consider going back just for the luxurious bathtub. We will definitely go back!
My husband and I have been traveling a bit and stumbled upon this luxury boutique resort on Condé Nast Traveler magazine for quite sometime. Finally, we got a chance to stay at The Hermosa Inn! Our experience was AH-MAZING! Warm greetings at check-in, and a walk through lush gardens along the paved stone path was sweet! The deluxe casita was spacious with a southwest decor and had a luxurious feel. We had a scrumptious dinner at Lon’s and the ambiance is so romantic, especially on the patio for our date night. A high point is watching the sunrise over camelback mountain. We will sure come back!
My wife and I were recently in the Phoenix area and decided to give the Hermosa Inn a try. I can’t tell you how pleased we both were with this property. Our casita was incredible. Very large and the decor was so tasteful. The surrounding grounds are beautifully landscaped. While we were there, the staff went out of their way to meet our every whim. While we had planned to try out some of the excellent local restaurants, after having dinner at the restaurant on property-Lons I think- we really found no reason to venture out. Excellent food and attentive service. Needless to say, my wife and I will look forward to our next visit to this fabulous inn.
As soon as we arrived we were met by the valet who welcomed us and took our luggage. The front desk check in was fast and easy. Our room was big and beautiful we were near the hot tub it was a nice quiet area. We were here for rest and relaxation. The grounds were beautiful lots of plants and flowers. Quiet pool area for relaxing. Loved our little patio area for reading. The rooms are large with a comfy king bed with a cute sitting area with a gas fireplace. The bathroom was beautiful and large it had a double vanity, soaking tub and a walk in shower. We had dinner at Lons last drop which was excellent. The patio area is so pretty. Lots of outside dining with the heaters. The Hermosa Inn is a perfect get away oasis we loved our stay and will be back.
This is our second time in staying at the Hermosa Inn for the better part of a week. One year ago we would have rated it a 4.5 but this time around the 2* rating is generous. I feel like this might be one of those places that is getting by on its previously stellar reputation. It was clean but very tired and in need of some TLC. The most concerning example of this was a mattress that had obviously gone awry and wasn’t fit for use. After a night of bearing it we let the staff know and they moved us. The second mattress was okay but not up to par for a 4 diamond hotel. Without going into excruciating detail I will say that the way the situation was handled was also not consistent with the supposed caliber of hotel. To end on a positive, Lon’s was just as fabulous as usual and we will dine there again in the future but sadly we will be looking for a different resort that is a true 4*.…
My wife was bitten by a scorpion in the bathroom early Sunday morning. Since she was bitten on the right foot and I had recent shoulder surgery , we couldn't drive anywhere. Thank god AZ poison control helped us with care so we could manage the pain. The front desk was helpful to some extent but didn't really receive an apology and I hope our organization doesn't get billed for the room. Now my wife was hobbling around plus caught COVID there. Last thing they said, please come back. Not likely. Do they even spray rooms for them?
Beautiful boutique hotel with stunning surroundings. We were in casita 118; loved the large bathtub! Definitely worth it to upgrade. The staff were very friendly. We ordered breakfast for the staff room service on our first morning and after an hour of waiting for it to arrive, I called for an ETA. They lost our order. John apologized, replaced our order and comp’d our meal. We ordered room service the 2nd day as well and delivery was prompt. We booked 90 minute massages, they were good but not great - not what you’d expect from a hotel like this.
This was our 2nd visit to this property for a belated anniversary get-away. We upgraded our room from the last time we stayed. The room was large but the bathtub was on the small side, however the shower was huge. My husband was too big to use the tub but I enjoyed it as I'm 5 ft. 4". It would have been nice to have some bath salts in the room for the tub vs. having to use the body wash from the shower. The only complaint we really had about the room was after 2 nights both of us woke to a sore back. We think the beds need upgraded as they seemed pretty tired. My husband didn't sleep much our 2nd night due to the bed and I felt bad for him for that. Check-in was efficient and as well as check-out. Pool area was very clean and relaxing. Lon's is an excellent restaurant (get the bacon appetizer for breakfast!) Did not use spa this trip. Very quiet and peaceful given the location in Paradise Valley. That was worth the money in and of itself!…
We have been to the Hermosa many times and always enjoy ourselves. The staff at check in are always so friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a larger suite this time so it was especially enjoyable. Yeah, it's hot in the valley this time of year, but its one of the reasons we like to come here. Great rates with added perks, not crowded and we had the pool almost to ourselves. Pool service was excellent and the Hermosa grounds are always beautiful. An added benefit is Lon's restaurant is located on property so really no reason to leave. We have already booked our next stay
This was the second time my husband and I stayed at the Hermosa. This time we got the largest room. We were in 107. We had a front patio and back patio. Unfortunately the back patio had no chairs so we did not sit out back. The front had four chairs and a table which we enjoyed every morning. The room itself is quite spacious with a separate living room. There are two TVs one in the bedroom one in the living room. There is a Keurig coffee maker in the room. Two bottles of water are left in the room every day but you can always get more at the pool or at the front desk. Everyone at the desk is very friendly and very helpful. The bed was quite comfortable and the temperature of the room was appropriate. There is a large walk-in closet for all of your belongings. There is also a safe in the closet. The bathroom is awesome there is a oversized tub and a large shower. We absolutely Love the Hermosa and can’t wait to go back.…
