My wife and I spent a week at the Triangle L Ranch in the Mrs Trowbridge Suite. It was a delightful week. Enjoyed walking around the property and the art trailers. Had an opportunity to visit two of the galleries on site and the art work there was very good. Staying at the Triangle L Ranch made for easy travel to local sites in Globe and Superior area and Tucson also and, of course, Oracle. We had a great week.
We loved our 2 day stay here. Our host and chef Jim was excellent. He made us 2 killer breakfasts that would put a 4 star resort to shame. Lovely atmosphere at the ranch too. We enjoyed seeing and walking with the goats and exploring the vast sculpture garden. Exploring Oracle was fun. Starry nights in the desert were magical. I would definitely go back again.
We spent three nights at the dog friendly guest ranch and loved the funky step back in time feeling of the Trowbridge Suite, as well as the large surrounding art garden. Jim, our attentive host, greeted is with his wonderful smile and friendly dancing eyes. Jim was also our highly skilled breakfast chef who prepared creative and filling dishes and was attentive to our every need. Jim made the Ranch an extra special experience!
A place you may find by chance but will go back to by choice. Jim and Sharon were so welcoming - not only to the ranch but to the community as a whole. The whole time we felt like we were getting special treatment, but I truly believe that’s just the Triangle L experience. The Glow art exhibit on the property is like nothing we had ever seen; and we were so lucky to be invited to work with a group of people that were planning their next exhibit with a bunch of repurposed glass bottles. DO NOT MISS breakfast! Everything was so fresh and delicious! A perfect place to stay for families and friends of all ages and stages! Thank you Jim and Sharon!
Awesome stay in the guest house and Jim, thanks for turning on the lights to the magic path for just us and one of the best breakfasts ever! If you are looking for peace, love, art, tranquility and universal groovieness, this is the place with wildlife and an occasional rabbit hole....enjoy! We did!
We spent 5 days at this B&B and really enjoyed ourselves. The cabin we stayed in was the Trowbridge House and it was a charming and comfortable suite. We took several walks down the "Magic Path", through the art installments scattered over the many acres of this ranch. Each time I saw something that I hadn't noticed before. Breakfasts were delicious and different each day--great way to start the day. The host was entertaining and gracious. I would stay there again if I am in the area.
My wife was on a business trip and I had never been down here so the GSD and I booked a room. The Guest House (Jim has a cell with 202 area code, by the way). It was quaint, well maintained and quiet, amazing for something built around a hundred years ago. The ranch has lots of trails with interesting displays. There is a gift shop with some items for sale. Slept well, Jim made me a great gluten free breakfast, a tamale with green Chile and cheese topped with an egg, a fruit bowl and yogurt with great coffee. This is not far from the town. It was an easy drive in for dinner at the local steak house. It is very dog friendly but it is the country so I mostly kept her on a leash. Will bring my wife here and I think motorcycle friends could do this. The dirt road is really, sand and pretty stable. Main House and the Guest House bed.…
A wonderful Christmas place to stay. Close to Tuscon, yet a complete getaway. The guesthouse was incredibly well appointed and charming. Uncomfortable bed and clean smelling linens, Vladimir the one tub, even an old record player (which we didn't play). Cups and glasses were provided together with drinking water and coffee and condiments. You can hear the coyotes and owls at night and are woken up by the birds. Most amazingly we were simply welcomed, and didn't even pay for our stay until when it came time to check out. The owner is an artist and the main ranch house (we were encouraged to walk through) is gorgeous old adobe. There are feisty goats you can feed and a beautiful big sculpture walk you can take (at night it is lit up). Jim, a friend of the owner, was wonderful. Breakfast is a part of your stay so make sure to show up. It is totally worth it. Served in the kitchen of the main house, breakfast consisted of coffee or tea, juice, an egg and sausage strata, fruit, pancakes all smilingly prepared and dished up by Jim. Wonderful company at breakfast too. I can't recommend this place highly enough. …
Upon a local artist's recommendation we visited this historic ranch and sculpture park. Simply amazing! We were toured by a lovely metal artist and then took another hour to walk the trail through the sculpture park and visit the Gift Shop in a heritage brick barn. Quirkiness mixed with professional, this is a must see destination for anyone interested in the arts. Also wouldn't hesitate to book accomodation at this Ranch.
We stayed in the Guest House, small but quite exquisite and with a most wonderful sleeping porch — the perfect place to escape a summer night’s heat. The company was quite sparkling over breakfasts absurdly varied and delicious (I mean, we had our first but not our last taste of clafoutis), everything wonderful.
