we stayed for 3 nights the room was nice the air cond was perfect for the whole of our stay we stayed in a two bedroom split level everything was clean on arrival and our room was cleaned daily the staff were always available when we needed anything like towels the place was a little run down but we still enjoyed our stay as we practically had the place to ourselves i would definitely go back as it was nice and quiet and my family enjoyed staying here as well and we also enjoyed the fia fia night and they were also very Felix-able with check out
From the beginning of our stay it was awesome reception she was on point the villa was good even though our warm water wasnt turned on till the next day but coz it was hot we didn't mind the facilities were great pool was nice we received breakfast free of charge every morning and that was the best I would like to say big big thank you to all staff from reception to care taker to bar lady and also the cleaners thank u guys all so much for having us and been so welcoming also fit for night was off the. Chain.
We were happy with the room price and breakfast & fiafia night inclusion in our package. The hotel room itself was not clean and a bit run down. I am sure that happens pretty quickly in this tropical location. Our hosts were so kind, from the front desk to the restaurant, and housekeeping - and they serve you like you are a guest in their home. The only thing is that there is no anticipation of the things that visitors may need, from the time of reservations - communications absent - book and pray! We were thrilled that everything came out as we'd hoped, just would have been nice to know it ahead of time to put us at ease.
Stayed here in a suite at the end of our vacation for a few nights... it was adequate...the split level rooms were quite large, high roofed and airy,... we moved between several suites at the start as a few things (electrical) were broken, incl TVs aircond and cooktop ... after several moves by the helpful and equally frustrated staff we went without a TV to atleast have a working air cond and cooktop .... bathroom was old but worked fine and had hot water. The entire resort is a little tired and needs some maintenance... the pool was green so didnt use it...the hotel is about 15min drive inland from Apia town but cabs are plentiful, parking ample and staff very friendly to organise things. Cab to airport was 70Tala, even at 4am! meals seemed non existent or under utilized so we cooked in the room... a car would be handy to get to town if staying more than couple of days. only recommended for short stay. Wasnt there for FiaFia night but supposedly one of the better ones.. lots of locals seem to stay here and not many tourists, but overall the place seemed empty most of the time. Quiet during the day but every neighbour seems to have barking dogs so need the aircond on all night to mask the noise. The Studios are 2 level with internal stairs, have full size refrigerator, air cond, TV, cooktop and utensils .…
The venues are beautiful. The reception staff could use some work when explaining all charges involved in fiafia night. Booking tables for dinner and so forth. The manager a Male host at the fiafia nights is fabulous though
We chose to stay here last minute. The staff were lovely but the apartment we stayed in was quite run down. The kitchen definitely needs upgrading as there were wood shavings falling from the ceiling continuously. Pillows need to be replaced; beds weren't the best.
It's a bit of a drive to get to Samoa Tradition Resort and it is up in the hills in small road. (All Samoa is small roads :) ) The front reception staff were excellent with olden style key system. There have different type of accommodations including small units. The room we were in was old area section of resort. The room and the bathroom was cleaned and they had hot water. They had a small fridge but not safe. If haven't seen Fi Fi night in Samoa then this is good cultural show. They explain the traditions of Samoa... what is all those pillar houses when go pass towns and the Ava Ceremony. The show is bit more than other Fi Fi nights.. It starts of with Samoan dances and then it show bit of other Polynesian dances, like Fiji, Maori, Cook Islanders, Tongan, Kiribati and Hawaiin. For me this was a great introduction to Polynesian dance and the culture. Not bad for a show and dinner for $50 tala. As in Polynesian countries alcohol drinks are expensive. The show finishes at 9pm so it is quite afterwards so it won't disturb your sleep... However the carpark was hectic until the people left. Well if you are not going that 's another story. They have a half infinity pool which was awesome... and my first one.. however get to it you need to go pass the carpark. Breakfast was not included in the price and we just stayed one night for the show. Did have an incident in room 12 the fan light cover flew over my head while I was sleeping. At the time of it didn't see how close it was. Advised the staff and they apology it happened and off we went. So if you are in room 12/13 becareful of fan if it is shaking.…
Amazing place to visit . Quite a distance by car or bus from main airport (2hours) the quality of the rooms food and entertainment were nothing to one excellent . Rooms were stocked and cleaned every day . Nothing was any trouble we were given vouchers for our next stay sad to leave such a beautiful part of the island shop on site also. Massage if you stay at the coconuts.
This is one of the best resorts here. The reception is excellent. The food also excellent. The view from the bar is beautiful. The staff here is very friendly. The cultural show was excellent. This is value for money. The hotel management personally take care of you.
If you're looking for a quiet location, you should definitely check out Samoa Tradition. I must admit it was a bit difficult for us to find at first but it calls for peaceful grounds. The room I stayed in was decent. I would much rather like to try going to stay with a bigger party to utilize the suites they had available . There's a pool that overlooks the valley and it's beautiful ! Loretta was so helpful with our check-in and our hotel needs as well.
