We just came home from a wonderful week at Savaii Lagoon Resort. We traveled with our 17 month old at everything was perfect. Our Son had a port-a-cot set up just after our arrival (45 tala to hire) and he also had a highchair at the restaurant, these little things made life so easy and gave us a chance to... More

This is the perfect place to chill out and escape the winter weather for a short time. The lagoon and beach must be one of the prettiest in Samoa. Swimming and snorkelling is great as the water is so clear and calm. The bungalows are about 20 paces from the beach and the deckchairs, making it hard to leave the... More

This place is made up of numreous private huts instead of being a hotel. they are beautiful with everything you need. i felt like no one else was there because each hut is secluded by vegetation with winding paths leading to the restaurant and pool. because they don't have many huts it never gets too busy. The restaurant over looks... More

We had three nights at savaii lagoon , Tony and Melissa are the best hosts, their attention to detail great. The small restaurant served fresh locally sourced food which was thoughtfully prepared and tasty. We had a very comfortable room, very clean. The shower pressure was a bit pathetic but at least the water was drinkable from the tap.If we were to... More

The laggon and resort are both beautiful. We stayed for 6 nights and were so glad that we chose to stay at the Savaii lagoon. Tony and Melissa are perfect hosts and went absoultely out of their way to ensure that we were happy customers. The rooms were great, quality beds and filtered drinking water. The restaurant was superb and... More

I spent 6 days in this resort. Samoa is really a place to be visited, especially Savaii. The resort shares a silent picture perfect beach with neightbouring Le lagoto resort, it's probably one of the best beaches in Savaii, perfect for snorkeling. Location too is excellent, in the Fagamalo village, it has on the other side of the street Dive... More

Savaii Lagoon Resort was our favourite of the three places we stayed in Samoa. Managers Melissa and Tony knew it was our honeymoon and provided a complimentary basket of local fruits and a bottle of sparkling wine! The room contained a kitchenette and bathroom with open-air shower (with mosquito net to stop the bugs!). Savaii Lagoon Resort was the only... More

Will most definitely try to come back here - very relaxed and friendly - everyone knows your name from the start of your stay. other "campers" were most friendly too. Food at the restaurant was the best we tried in Samoa.

We received a warm welcome from Melissa and Tony who are managing the resort, but only until Feb 2013, when they will be setting up their own photography business in Upolu. They could be the key to a great stay here. The Superior Beachfront Bungalows were spacious and really nice, light and airy, with a fully equipped kitchen, dining suite,... More

Tony and Melissa run a good ship! This is without doubt the best place to stay in Samoa. Great people, great food, great service and all on top of the best stretch of pristine sandy beach on Savaii. Fabulous snorkling and Kayaking straight out from the resort. Glass bottom boat for those who don't love flippers. Perfect deep swimming hole... More
