We stayed for 4 nights. Payed 60pp pn for accomodation and 3 good meals and coffee and tea all day. You will never be hungry 😊 The beach fales are near the water and have a good matres sheets and mosquito net. The view is amazing. The pictures made all my friends crazy jealous. The owners are very nice. If...

We made a reservation at Joelan's beach fales based on the good reviews on tripadvisor. However when we arrived we noticed it's not well maintained. The fales are old, as well as the facilities, which were also not cleaned for a while. It's a nice beach but there was a lot of trash on the beach. Breakfast was ok, dinner...

All Fales are on the water from memory. The food was good. we had fish, kfc style fried chicken, sweet and sour pork and chicken curry. We were never hungry. When we did eat at restaurants we found the food to be only slightly better. The kitchen seemed clean and hygenic. Our hosts were very friendly and even dropped us...

We stayed here with our three children and had a lovely time. The beach is beautiful and great to swim and snorkel in. The huts were traditional and basic- like camping! The food was plentiful, fresh and tasty- we were lucky enough to join the family for an umu on Sunday. All the facilities were really clean. It is not...

My husband and I had intended to spend 3 nights at the Joelan Fales but unfortunately we'd had enough after just one night. We had read many of the reviews on here raving about the delicious food, welcoming family environment and cleanliness. None of this is true. We now doubt the authenticity of these reviews. We had emailed a few...

The ocean is at your tiptoes when you sit at the edge of the fale. It truly is blissful here and the family are so hospitable. The food was good and the fale comfy enough. For the price u can't go wrong. We got a free lunch too because it was father's days! Such lovely special people

This was our first stop as we biked around Savai'i. Lovely host. Fales are right over the water. There are larger family fales available and our host accommodated our family of 5 easily. One of the few places that offers 3 meals. Enjoyed tea and coffee being available at any time. Friendly, traditional and a pleasant beach.

“The open fales are great and really allow the breeze to come through and make it very comfortable. There are shades that you can lower that are good at keeping the rain out and can provide shade when the sun comes up.”
