Private island: Check No cooking: Check Private Beach: Check Private water to swim: Check Samoan traditional Fale: Check If you want to just be alive for a day, nothing else just breath. This is your place. Sure you may have a couple of friendly, playful dogs running around, but they are happy and not aggressive at all. Give it a... More

If you want somewhere secluded sway from everything this is the place. Taken over to the island on a dingy we arrived to our fale on the beach and were the only guests. surrounded by blue water and white sands. with a backdrop of green lush hillside. Nothing to do but laze about sleep, swim, snorkel and eat. Food was... More

If you love the "basic" easy going island life then this is paradise. For about $85 Australian you get your own little Samoan fale and three meals. Snorkelling, eating, reading, bush walks and sleeping. Way to go Namua. From the south side of Samoa you travel out to this secluded lot less island by tin boat( all included in the... More

The relaxing nature of the island, the friendly hosts and the ease of snorkelling straight off the beach meant this was a place that you wanted to stay longer. Delicious lunch provided on our day visit, fresh coconut to drink and an open fale to relax and experience the beauty of the island. Clean toilets, shower and friendly dogs!

After initial problems contacting the Manager, I am glad I persevered. (technology in Samoa is limited at times) From the moment the boat collected me from the wharf to 24 hours later when I was delivered back safely, I have to say this trip has to be a highlight from living here in Samoa for 3 years. I wished I... More

Loved it... great food, lovely hosts, clean and comfortable, just simplicity. Even going without electricity for 4 days was ok. Peace and quiet away from technology. Walked around the island which was very beautiful but not exactly a relaxing stroll and more like rock climbing sometimes. It's a family run business. The owners of the island are the actual beach... A short trip off the Eastern end of Upolu- Namua Island is Samoan fale style accommodation at it's best. On the short (10 minute) boat trip out, we spotted several big turtles in the lagoon, and saw more on the return trip. The beach on the island is beautiful- and the water directly in front of the fales is crystal,... More

Not many fales means that you don't have to share this exclusive island with many or if any people at all. the food is standard for samoa but the island it self is the reason you come here. A walk to the top gave us views over to American Samoa and the snorkelling on the lagoon side was safe and... More

I. Love. This. Resort. It was such an interesting experience being boated out to your own island and being treated to paradise. I went with about 15 friends and there were enough of us that we rented the whole island and had it all to ourselves! There are so many things I like about this island! Let me list them.... More

The accommodation options here are quite basic however everything is well maintained and the family who run it are very helpful. The island is uninhabited apart from this lodging so it's a truly relaxing experience. The beach is beautiful and there is a good reef for snorkelling and even the occasional turtle sighting. A really great place to stay.
