We stayed 3 nights in a private room. The Pros: *The owner allowed us to check in at 6 a.m. , we woke her up with the bell ring in the door. and she was very nice. *Cheap price. *Good location, close to the bus terminal and the center. *You can freely use the kitchen to cook. *Mineral water and... I hate to write a bad review, but this place was pretty bad. Timing could be it, as they promptly started construction at like 7 AM (not good for guys that go out past midnight). We got to hear jackhammers, hammers, yelling, dogs barking, random things being thrown around, a tornado mixed with a hurricane - or at least it... More

Aesthetically looking, this is a really nice hostel. Nice rooms, big kitchen, quick Wifi. However, that's unfortunately where the compliments end. My girlfriend and I woke up in the middle of the night to find the floor saturated as the toilet was leaking (apparently a small cup underneath the crack in the pipe was the solution as it had clearly... We booked based on price, so I suppose you get what you pay for. The staff did let us check in early, but we're unable to give us a map or directions to get to even basic locations. I speak Spanish but that did not seem to help. The rooms are clean and the wifi is good. On our second... More

Pros: lovely and helpful staff (specially Miria, who I guess is the owner) and they have a sweet beautiful siberian husky called Max. The hostal is located right across the street from the bus terminal, every room has private shower, has a good kitchen, the room and beds are fine, offers you tours. Cons: showers will not stay warm for... More

Staying here ruined my stay in Baños - the owners/staff spoke no English and made absolutely no effort when I attempted to communicate in my very broken Spanish. The wifi was unreliable. The area and the hostel itself was ridiculously noisy. Definitely do not recommend this place. :(

On arriving to Nomada I had agreed with the owner that I will stay for 4 weeks to enable my work committment in a tour agency in Banos. The hostel is a very nice place to stay. Clean, comfortable, quiet and relaxed. The rooms are nice and the kitchen is great, fully equiped with all you need. However what would... More

The staff was very helpful during our stay!!! They helped us organize all our excursions and were always there when we had problems!! The room was ok, a bit small for 4 persons, and only two plugs... Hot shower in the bathroom. Kitchen available and free drinkable water. Well located, not too far from the main plaza and the restaurants.

We stayed 3 nights at Hostal Nomada and were very happy with the experience. The rooms are clean and very cheap. We had a 1am bus after we had checked out and the owners allowed us to stay in the 'lobby' as well as use the kitchen until our bus arrived. They were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The best hostel that i tried in Banos: friendly staff, small number of beds in nice rooms, each room has a bathroom and hot water really worked, and all for a better price than other hostels. I recommend this place.
